New Deal

Fay spent most of the day confined to his room. Nero's been off to work since morning. All the gallery business he left to Gea by phone.

The woman now looked at the white paper on the table. In his hand was a black pen. His mind was weighing something.

Fay thought hard to string together the right sentence for the renewal of her marriage contract. He was quite worried whether the chapter he wrote would be accepted by Nero.

"Fay, are you inside?"

Fay was aghast at Nero's voice from outside the door. "What time is this? Why is Nero home?" ask him to yourself.

Fay looked at the wall clock, still at 10 a.m. "I'm inside, Mom!"

Nero entered, grabbed a dressing chair and placed it face to face with Fay. He sat with a serious look.

"Tumben Mas is home."

"I changed my mind. My marriage contract has been renewed. You read it."

"Read it!" nero cuts Fay's speech.

Convicted but lazy to argue, Fay chose to give in and read the paper Nero proffered.

Nero listened seriously, waiting for Fay to continue his reading to completion.

"Two parties 1 and 2 are prohibited from having other lovers or closeness to the opposite sex as long as the marriage contract is still running. Both parties are prohibited from hurting each other's inner birth during the marriage."

Fay breathed a sigh of relief reading the contents of the second contract. At least she feels valued as a wife.

Fay sighed. "Okay, deal!"

Nero signed the contract, Fay did too. Both of them scratched the signature ink regarding the stamp on the contract.

Nero took out a piece of paper from his briefcase. "From today, our old contract is not valid" Nero said, ripping up their first contract.

"Now I'm hungry, make breakfast!" nero cuek's orders. He loosened the tie that was coiled around the neck.

"I'm lazy to cook, Mom. Let's order, shall we? My head is a little dizzy."

Nero stuck the back of his palm on Fay's forehead, ensuring body temperature. "It's warm, you rest. I'll cook us breakfast."

"Thank you, Mom," said Fay. He also returned to bed. Nero helps cover Fay's body.

"The doctor will be here. I hope you obey all the doctor's orders."

"Vitamins don't change anymore, huh, Mas?"

Nero nodded briefly and passed.

The doctor came to check on Fay. According to him, Fay has to rest a lot and not a lot of mind.

Gently rubbed his stomach as if he was touching the twins in the womb. "I'm sorry, dear Mama. From now on, Mama won't be sad anymore, for your sake."

Before going home, the doctor handed over the vitamins and fetal boosters to Nero. This time he handed it to Fay right after getting the vitamin.

"Don't be late, I don't want the twins born unwell" Nero said. Fay just nodded.

Nero sat next to Fay who was sleeping lying down. "Tomorrow we'll have dinner. I'll invite Galen and our two fathers. They deserve to know about your pregnancy."

Fay nodded in agreement. "Both of our fathers must have been very happy. Moreover, your father really wants twin grandchildren."

Nero nodded briefly. "How are you doing? Still sore?"

Fay smiled shakes. "It doesn't hurt, Mom. A little mager. I really want to relax today."

"Goodoo. Our lunch order is coming soon. After eating, don't forget to take your vitamins."

Fay nodded, looking at Nero's face. "After your separation, how is Widi now?"

"I don't care. In the dictionary of my life there's no place for traitors, Fay."

Fay smiled cynically. "Alright, I quite understand how Mas's condition when lying weak in the hospital first."

"What do you mean? I'm under attack, Fay!" Nero immediately sewot.

"Udah was hurt many times, when the ngigau called still the name Widi. Sure you forgot?" fay Goda.

Embarrassed by Fay's temptation, the man glared sharply at Fay. "Don't be so reckless! I don't know!"

"Where does anyone know he's nervous" ridiculed Fay again. He laughed curledly at Nero's reddened face like a boiled crab.

"I'll go to the workspace first. If you need anything, just call. Don't come near me. I'll be here later."

Fay just nodded looking at the astonishment of her husband. As if understanding how he reacted, Nero cleared his throat briefly. "I refuse to renege on the agreement, Fay."

"Thank you, Mom." Fay smiled with relief.

Nero just nodded and walked out of the room.

"If Mas Nero's attitude continues, I become more comfortable. Maintaining the mood to continue to be happy is very important for my champion," said Fay happy.

He saw his wedding photos on display in the finding room. The happy laughter of the two seemed natural. Nero hugged Fay's loin, while Fay held his hand around Nero's neck. They both look like real couples.

A photo showing two pairs of people loving each other. The smile emanating from Nero's face looked very natural. Anyone would not have thought that it was just a charade.

"The smile in the photo, one day what could be real?" Fay breathed a disappointed breath. The reality is they're going to be separated soon.

"It is my fate to marry and conceive and give birth to a widow." Fay stared at the picture. Slowly his eyes blurred with tears.

While in Nero's private workspace, the man looked pensively at the photos of himself and Widi that he had not yet thrown away.

"From today I have to learn to forget you, Widi," Nero said, staring at the photo.

The memory of togetherness with Widi comes back. Their first encounter in the school library, the two accidentally collide with each other while equally engrossed in choosing a book.

Nero fell in love at first sight. Surprisingly, apparently Widi also has the same taste. In the school library, they first link the promise of looking after and caring for each other as lovers.
