A Heart that Thumped

It has been two months since the new semester began. Spring is almost turning into summer. Students are busy with their own work and assignments. Likewise with Vino, Amel, Joelin, Mickey, Mark, Si An, Bill in Korea, of course without exception the same thing is also experienced by Geodan in China.

Amek is still busy with his detective actions to find out the hidden relationship between Vino and Joelin. While Vino was still looking for a way, how could he meet Joelin in person and approach the girl. Senior Bill in Joelin's lab is busy completing his thesis, Mark is blatantly dating on weekends. While Si An and Mickey every weekend always go to the Lab with Bill who is busy collecting data for his thesis. But that doesn't mean Mickey stopped seeing Jee Na. The girl always shows up and more and more often. The danger whenever he appears Mickey is always reluctant to serve him, but after a while such a hypnotized man is always submissive under the influence of Jee Na.

While Joelin, girls' lives are always filled with hard learning, Si An's frown, Amel's random action, Mark and Bill's jokes plus Mickey's successful attention makes his cheeks blush instantly. Just like now, Mickey was pulling the girl's hand away from the Lab and taking her away to buy a soft drink to an automatic machine on the 3rd floor of their major building.

"Where are you going?" joelin asked quietly as they exited the lab.

"follow it." replied Mickey letting go of his grasp.

"Have you read all the materials?" mickey asked, breaking the silence as they were in the elevator.

"Which material?" Joelin throws the question back at Mickey.

"What I sent last night" Mickey said.

"Sorry Mike, send where? I don't have a shred of shit." Joelin said carefully.

"Nih." Mickey replied briefly while showing his phone screen to Joelin.

"Yes my. I'm unistall messenger application from hp. pantes aja can not notif." murmured Joelin.

"Hey Girl, could you please speak in english?" mickey protests that heard Joelin muttering in Indonesian.

"gm.. Sorry Mike. last night.." The girl's sentence was interrupted because the elevator that was transporting them had now arrived on the third floor. Both of them rushed out of the elevator.

"Sorry for what?" ask Mickey prank.

"Sorry, I uninstalled the messenger app from hp. Haven't seen your message last night" Joelin replied.

"why uninstall?" ask Mickey curiously.

"Mobile-mobile-mobile-problem. Somehow suddenly error often." said Joelin tried to explain the condition of his phone which is actually now an emergency.

"Here I check." Mickey said, offering help. The two of them almost arrived at an automatic machine that provided some snacks and soft drinks.

"Later on, in the lab." replied Joelin cheerfully.

After buying drinks and some snacks, Joelin and Mickey returned to the lab. Both are joking. I don't know since when they became so close to each other. Suddenly while in the elevator Joelin cheeks back warm. The girl recalled the first time she had been friends with Mickey. Several times they both ended up at Mickey's house.

"The shell of the house." Joelin murmured inwardly. His cheeks are now really red.

"Do you have a fever?" mickey asked as he realized Joelin's cheeks were now flushed red, replexively putting her hand on the girl's forehead.

"i'm ok." replied Joelin while bowing shyly hiding her increasingly blushing face.

"i think so." said Mickey agreed to realize that the girl's body temperature felt normal.

"god.." Mickey cleared his throat trying to calm his suddenly pounding heart.

Suddenly the atmosphere inside the elevator turned awkward. Joelin is still hiding her face and Mickey is trying to calm her heart. Fortunately, the elevator opened and the two walked out of the elevator. Mickey let Joelin go faster, and the man followed him from behind.

"Don't forget to show me your phone" Mickey said.

"Yes." replied Joelin without looking back.

As the two now sit in their respective seats, Joelin immediately gives Mickey his phone. Of course, first in unlock.

"here." Joelin said as she grabbed her phone and returned it to Mickey. But strangely the man again pressed a certain button to lock the screen Joelin phone.

"Show me the pattern." ask Mickey.

"No.!!" joelin protested against this.

"Alright" replied Mickey with a disappointed face.

Suddenly Joelin felt uncomfortable with the disappointed face of the man. I don't know since when he cared about Mickey's feelings.

"Look." said Joelin as she touched the pattern on her phone screen right in front of Mickey.

"Don't replace it again." asked Mickey with a smile.

Joelin agreed. He was happy to see Mickey's keheca face suddenly turn happy. Mickey was busy checking Joelin's phone for a few minutes.

"Well, I'm afraid your phone won't last long" Mickey said honestly.

"Is it that bad?" ask Joelin.

"Yes. It looks like your phone is very old. Why not replace it with a new one?"

"I don't have any money." Joelin replied honestly.

"Why didn't you ask your parents to buy it?" ask Mickey again.

"I don't want to bother them" said Joelin, she realized asking to be sent some money to buy a cell phone was a luxury for her.

"Then what if your phone dies completely? how do I contact your family?" Mickey voiced his worry.

"Hp can still be used. Take it easy." said Joelin trying to convince herself that this is not a big deal.

Mickey decided to stop asking Joelin. He realized that this girl was not having a chance to waste money. But her heart also began to fidget at the thought of the day when Joelin's phone was completely malfunctioning, while the girl was very far from home. Mickey switched to his phone. Trying to find the latest prices from the phone.

"If only I had been born with a mouthful of a golden spoon." Mickey murmured inwardly.

"Mike, what are you doing?" ask Joelin then.

"First find information about the price of the phone" he replied honestly.

"Make what?" ask Joelin.

"Make dong. Who else is it for?" mickey asked again.

"That's it, don't waste time. I don't have any money. Asking my parents was much more impossible. They are also in trouble. We better study for next week's test." Joelin explained at length.

"Well, if you want to learn, we learn." replied Mickey obey Joelin's wishes.

Joelin and Mickey ended up throwing questions at each other and giving answers around the material they had learned over the past two months. The two learned while occasionally laughing and joking. Occasionally they also find a funny condition to be used as an illustration for their respective understanding.

"Mark, does Joelin know about Jee Na?" ask Bill who feels different when observing the body gesture of Mickey and Joelin since.

"I don't think so." replied Mark.

"What's Mickey's plan?" muttered Si An who was also joining them, there was an annoyed tone in his voice.

"Are you worried about Joelin?" look at Bill was surprised by Si An's reaction.
