Ch.35 - Rescue

Shin and Lan Ma instantly parted in two different directions to search for Hun Fan's whereabouts.

Shin went around the various streets and alleys, watching the demons pass by.

A moment later, Shin heard a whipping sound from the direction of another alley. He also walked to the source of the sound.

Shin walked leisurely, he was now in the area of the demons, he should not make any suspicious movements.

"Basic slacker!"

Shin finally saw the humans in shabby clothes walking while carrying a sack of Qi crystals.

One of the men dropped his item until his sack was torn, leaving the Qi crystals inside scattered.

It made the demon who became their watchdog angry, whipping the man loudly.

The other humans did not dare to stop, they continued walking as if they did not care about the fate of their comrades.

They realize if they stop, they will be the next target of the lash.

The man in the whip was still lying on the ground, his breathing was weakened, his eyes half-opened. No matter how many times the devil whipped him, he did not move or scream.

A moment later, the man breathed his last breath.

"Bas on weak men!" The guardian demon snorted, "take him, he'll be our dinner later."

Some demons immediately raised the man's body, taking him to one of the buildings.

Shin looked at the incident from the beginning, he was just silent with a flat face, as if he did not feel anything seeing the treatment of the demons to the humans.

However Shin was actually very angry, wanting him to kill the demons in this city, yet he could not act rashly before discovering Hun Fan's whereabouts.

"Devil, you really make me angry!" Shin walked back.

As Shin walked through the quiet little alley, there were some demons who seemed to be eating human flesh there.

Shin continued walking, until before he passed the demons, one of the demons stopped him.

"Hey, stop buddy!"

The devil was fat with a distended stomach, his skin was jet black with a very bad face.

The other 3 demons turned their heads towards Shin, wiping the remaining human blood on the edge of their lips.

Indeed, they were eating human flesh intact, on the legs until the human chest was completely exhausted, only bones were left, his internal organs were also nothing left, his condition was really bad.

"I've never seen you before in this town..Are you a newcomer?" The fat devil looked at Shin's appearance from left and right.

"You're a devil that looks weird, but you're a demon, but why is your face more like a human?"

The other 3 demons stood up and surrounded Shin from 4 different directions.

A moment later they saw like a world that was split apart, but in fact their bodies were cut into pieces.

Shin did not kill all the demons, he left behind a fat demon that had now fainted with just a flash of soul force that he aimed straight at as the demon looked into his eyes.

The Soul Absorber Technique!

The Soul Absorber Technique can retrieve memories from the target. Shin wanted to find information regarding Hun Fan's whereabouts from the fat demon's memories.

After a while of searching into the memories of the fat demon, Shin finally found out where Hun Fan was.

Shin saw that Hun Fan had killed dozens of thousands of demons while using the Lightning Angel Change Technique.

However, Hun Fan was defeated and eventually taken to a dungeon to be interrogated.

"Underground prison huh, it's a good thing that this demon has been there so I can use the space technique," Shin stomped his foot, making a hole in the ground without causing the slightest tremor.

The bodies of the human corpses previously eaten by the demons were instantly buried in the ground, while for the corpses of the demons, Shin burned them to ashes.

"You demons from hell do not deserve to be buried in the land of men."

Shin shook his hand, made a space tear and went inside.

The underground prison.

In one passageway in the dungeon, a space tear was suddenly created.

Some demons were there, they were surprised to see the space rips as well as being on guard.

But before they reacted, some blue needles shot towards them, stuck right in the head, making the demons instantly fall down with a shattered soul.

It was Shin's special killing technique that used soul force.

Anyone who had a weak soul, if exposed to this technique then their soul would instantly be destroyed.

Shin came out from the space rips, looked around and burned the corpses of the demons to ashes.

Shin did not know for sure where Hun Fan was in this dungeon.

Because the dungeon has many passageways intersections.

Shin did not spread his spiritual senses because if caught out then the matter would get more complicated.

Before Shin saved Hun Fan and the others, he would act cautiously.

Shin continued to browse through the passageway, he killed all the demons in sight without causing a commotion.

Until finally Shin could hear the sound of Hun Fan screaming.

"It's Hun Fan's voice," Shin instantly tore through space towards the source of the sound.

Wang Wu still continued to torture Hun Fan. After cutting off one hand and one leg, this time Wang Wu cut off Hun Fan's fingers and ate it.

Hun Fan continued to scream in pain yet he still never answered Wang Wu's question

"You're really persistent, all your fingers have been cut off, now your toes are left!"

Before Wang Wu cut off Hun Fan's toe, a space tear was created beside him.

Shin quickly got out of there, before Wang Wu could react, his neck was already neatly freed.

Wang Wu's head instantly rolled before his body collapsed in a lifeless state.

"Sorry I'm late Brother Hun Fan," Shin took out a pill and helped Hun Fan eat it.

"Hahaha, it doesn't matter, I'm relieved you came."

"Here you go, don't talk first, digest the benefits of the pill so that your wound bleeding can stop," Shin was furious at Hun Fan's truly miserable condition.
