"Huft~ relax. I need to calm down," muttered Dario continuously chanting the sentence trying to calm himself down even though his hands continued to tremble in fear.
Currently he was on the deck of the rear ship, standing alone while adjusting his breath that felt tight and his heart that rumbled.
His hand had not wanted to stop shaking even though he had been breathing repeatedly but still. So did his feet down there that were as trembling and limp as before. Even at this moment, he had to hold on to support his limp body.
"I want to make sure if this axe is.." Piero paused for a moment his sentence, wiping the tip of his axe-eye. Scratch a little bit on the side. "…Sharp or not," he continued, glancing at the crew.
"H-huh?" The crew stammered, he began to feel if something was wrong with Piero.
"I really wanted to confirm it, but... what can I use to test it?" Piero slowly walked up to the man. The ones near him were now moving back slowly.
"What do you mean?" Asked the man with a pale face, he continued to step back. I don't know why Piero's gaze on him felt different.
Piero tightened his grip on the axe he was holding. He continued to step, his gaze sharply staring at the man.
"B-stop. What are you gonna do?" The man swallowed his saliva with great difficulty. Continuing to walk backwards made him unable to see clearly the condition of the floor he was on until he unconsciously tripped and fell on the floor with his buttocks first which hit the rough hard floor there.
A BRUUKKK!!!
The man fell. His eyes were still staring at the figure of Piero who kept approaching him there. His hands began to tremble, and he kept trying to escape. Dragging his body which is still in the sitting position.
Cold sweat began to pour out. Simultaneously, his heart rumbled along with his now pale-looking face. His eyes were round looking at the figure of Piero who continued to approach with a frightening look.
"Let's try, is this sharp or not?" Gumam Piero slowly.
"N-no," the man turned around to run but Piero stopped his steps first.
"Stop there! You can't just walk away" he muttered, who then lifted the axe in his hand over his head. Swung it and in one hit…
CRATTTT!
"Argh." Dario grimaced as the shadow was again seen. His heart was roaring more and more, his hands and feet were trembling more and more, and his breathing was becoming more and more congested.
A BRUUKKK!
Dario fell down. Next to his hand held on to the pole that supported the end of the deck where he was.
"I beg you! Get out of my mind!" He muttered softly while holding his head and shook his head quickly trying to erase all the memories that frightened him. His psyche was a little shaken by what he had just seen.
What Piero had just done was something he had just seen. It was the first and enough to make him shock and tremble in fear.
...*...
BLAM!
"Sorry, what are you doing here? This is a special area for the crew and other interested persons. The uninterested ones hope to get out" said one of the crew members who had just been about to leave the room. The man who had just spoken to her was staring at her with a look of puzzled face.
Piero looked at himself. He slightly shifted his body which in an instant made the man's focus severed towards Piero's hand.
The man was surprised not to play when he saw what was in his grasp. Piero clasped a relief axe in the hallway. The axe was covered in blood, some of which dripped on the dry floor that had originally looked clean.
His face turned deathly pale and his hands trembled. Both of his eyes were rounded looking at the figure of Piero who was looking at him with a gaze that was hard to interpret by him but enough to make him feel frightened.
His roaring heart and instincts that felt bad about what would happen spontaneously made him step slowly back.
The man backed off. He looked at Piero.
Piero started walking up to him, and it made him even more frightened.
A BRUUKKK!!!
The man fell to the wall, using one of his hands as a pedestal. But that didn't make him survive.
The man fell on the floor with a very loud voice making the whole person look at him confused.
"Why him?" One of the crewmen down there asked his partner.
"Somewhere, he might have tripped. You know for yourself, he's a reckless man. Never mind him," muttered the man beside him who then began to get busy with their work.
On the other hand, other people are still trying not to pay too much attention to the arrival of Piero into the room, somehow they feel lazy to take care of things that seem not too important.
THE GLUP!
He swallowed his hard-earned saliva when he could no longer run. His tongue felt, even to scream for help was very difficult.
Piero was still staring at him sharply, slowly raising his hand made the man even more frightened. Dragging his body back trying to get away, but Piero swung it right at the man. And in one hit.
"CHUCK!!!!" Pekik hard. It sounded loud and very deafening, the voice managed to make the whole person there turn back to look at him. And they were so shocked to see one of their comrades being hit repeatedly with an axe in Piero's hand.
The faces of everyone inside there instantly turned deathly pale, and in the blink of an eye everything trembled in fear. Not a few of them who fell saw what had just happened there.
Piero stopped when he was tired. He stood there, staring intently at the man he had just hit hard.
Fresh blood flowed profusely soaking the originally clean floor there, a few drops adorning his handsome face.
He tried to catch his breath, and his hands down there were still tightly gripping the axe he was holding.
Everyone stood glued to their place. They were still trying to digest what they had just seen. With both wide eyes and a deathly pale face accompanied by a trembling body, they were completely speechless to him.
