The cambio dei piani

...***...

Instantly the people on board the ferry stopped their preparing steps. Everyone fell silent and listened to the announcement they heard through the microphone inside.

"Whose voice is that?" Ilario muttered as soon as he heard the voice of a woman who sounded familiar in his ears.

"Isn't that Flavian?" Her assistant is there. Ilario turned to look at him.

"uh? Oh you're right. But what did he just say?" Ilario tried to digest every sentence that Flavia made there. For a moment he was silent, still calm and not aware of the contents of the announcement made by Flavia.

"He said.." his assistant was silent for a moment. Hanging his words while looking at him hesitantly.

"What did he say?"

"He said if our artist was missing, sir," he said with the final sentence he deliberately put down.

"WHAT?!" Ilario spontaneously shrieked there, making his assistant flinch and reflexively closed his two eyes.

"What did you just say?!" Said Ilario who looked annoyed. He asked his assistant to repeat his words.

"F-flavia says.. if our artist is missing, sir.." said slowly.

"W-how can it be?!" Ilario was really upset. So upset he did not know how to vent all his anger.

"I don't know either sir."

"Where is Flavia now?"

"It seems in the control room sir."

"Then I have to ask her directly!"

Ilario went from there with big strides, walking quickly towards the place where Flavia was with his other managers.

...*...

"How's it?" Flavia asked Fio as soon as the man arrived in the control room along with the others. Their breaths gasped for too much running to find their artist.

"I can't find Dario anywhere on this ship" he said, trying to catch his breath.

"Jeez, then.. What about Lucio, Analia, and the others?" Flavia turned his eyes to Ciro and Elvera.

"We can't find them anywhere either" said Ciro. The man held on to the open door. Hearing the words of his friends made Flavia more anxious for him. All the major artists are missing, including her sister.

"God. How'this? Where exactly are they? Why are they lost and nowhere?" Flavia.

"Flavas!" Shouted Ilario calling out his name as soon as he arrived there. Flavia and the other managers turned their eyes to the older man.

"Sir" he said.

"What do you mean if our main artist is missing?" He said with an annoyed face.

"Sorry before sir, but me and the others have been trying to find all of our main artists, and they really aren't on this ship."

"Right sir," Ciro chimed in.

"Have you guys been looking all over the room?"

"Already sir. But nothing," this time Fio said.

"God. If they're not on this ship, then where?" Ilario started to get anxious there. Things like this have never happened before as long as he became the director and producer who led the film he worked on. And this was enough of a shock therapy for him because it was his first.

"Oh, have you guys made sure they got on the boat before?" Asked Ilario who was trying to calm down.

"Already sir. I even accidentally heard one of them propose to wait inside the ship as long as we're improving" Fio said.

"So since you guys came in, have you met them?"

"No sir. We were too busy preparing and double-checking all the luggage plus we thought they were practicing and rereading their scenario in the artist's waiting room, so we didn't pay much attention to them," sahut Flavian.

"What?"

"Yes sir. And it was only when you announced that there would be a new filming change that we knew they weren't on this ship."

"Then we should check the other ship. Who knows they're there."

"Oh right! What Mr. Ilario said was true" Elvera agreed.

Ilario went from there to the captain of the ship to ask him to connect their radar with the radar of the other ferry left behind.

Arriving in the control room, Ilario hurried to ask the captain to contact the other ship.

...*...

"Huft~" Ilario sighed harshly there making the assistant who had been standing next to him even more nervous.

His assistant glanced seklias at ilario. From his face it was clearly a huge disappointment due to the chaotic filming and the shooting that should have been done on the high seas was void. He could not continue filming. Moreover, the ferry that was boarded by the players was now just moving away from the port.

Ilario looked up slowly at the manager of the screenwriter of his film who was now sitting right in front of him.

"I'm really sorry that this movie got messed up" Ilario said apologizing to her.

"It's okay sir. I understand, and I'm also sure that Binbin will understand the situation. Moreover, all of this was beyond expectations. All this happened accidentally. So you don't have to apologize for this."

"But still, I feel bad because the film that I've been excited about will be perfect turns out to have to fall apart like this. I'm sure Binbin must be disappointed in my carelessness, and maybe in the future he won't want to write a new movie screenplay for me" Ilario muttered with a gloomy look.

"Don't conclude too soon sir. Because I know very well what kind of person Binbin is. And again I'm sure he understands the situation and after this of course he will want to write a new movie scenario for you. Moreover, my father was a famous director. Who wouldn't want to write a movie for you?"

"Yes, I hope so."

"You don't have to worry too much sir. We still have plenty of time anyway. Even if we didn't do the shooting today, there's still another day to do it, right? In addition, we have not yet determined when this film will air. So you don't have to worry too much, because you're not chasing showtime." He tried to entertain.

"What you say has a point, too. There's still time for this. I shouldn't be too anxious, "Ilario smiled in a knot there confirming the remark from Binbin's manager as the screenwriter of the film he was working on.
