"A long time ago you opened the door of sa—"
Grep's!
Ciro was suddenly silent when the door opened and Lucio spontaneously hugged him tightly.
"It turns out this isn't a dream, I'm really relieved. I'm still alive. I'm glad to see you again. I thought I would never see you again!" Lucio fussed while tightening his arms, making Ciro unable to breathe.
The man pushed his body. With a confused face mixed in shock, he saw Lucio.
"What are you talking about this early in the morning?! You really don't speak ak—"
"It's really you, isn't it, Ciro?" Once again Lucio left him speechless. The man suddenly grabbed her face and looked at her sparklingly.
"Darken! Stay away from me" said Ciro, who pushed back Lucio's body. This morning, the man who became his boss and co-worker was really acting out of expectations. It was not usual for Lucio to be this ridiculous.
"What exactly are you saying? I don't get it. Since then you've been talking strange, nonsensical things. Are you delirious?" Ciro walked past him, stepped into the kitchen space connected to the living room and put some of the grocery bags he carried onto the bar table.
Lucio immediately followed him from behind.
"I thought I was dead. Even I remember very well that I just fell from the top of a tower on a haunted island. It really feels like real. But thank God, it was all just a dream." Lucio smiled with relief. He went to the dining table and sat in the chair.
Ciro glanced at him with a hard-to-understand look.
"You seem really delirious" he commented, taking all his luggage out of a brown paper bag and opening the refrigerator to clean up the contents.
Thank God, I'm really relieved that everything I've been through is just a dream. Now I have nothing to worry about anymore. I just need to live my life normally. Lucio's face seemed radiant. He was very happy because he thought what he had experienced about his death was just a dream.
"Oh yeah, I brought something for you this morning." Ciro turned his focus to Lucio who had been sitting in the chair.
Lucio immediately turned his attention to Ciro who walked over to the bar table and ransacked the contents of the other bag he was carrying. It was like he was looking for something.
I don't know why, but it feels like Dejavu, thought Lucio. Strange, the feeling was not good all of a sudden.
"Here we go!" Ciro lifted the thing he was carrying. A plain-bound script only with the title of the film that will be worked on later.
Lucio squinted both his eyes as soon as he saw the paper Ciro was brandishing.
"You were chosen by Mr. Ilario, to be the main actor in the film he will be working on in the future." Ciro smiled cheerfully. But Lucio showed the opposite reaction.
He was petrified, it felt like he had just been struck by lightning in broad daylight hearing what Ciro had just said just now.
"You're gonna love it!" Ciro excitedly approached Lucio and sat down beside him while thrusting the paper in his grasp.
Wh-wait. Whahuh?
T-this..it can't be, right?
"This is a new film project that he will be working on in the coming months. Because you are very popular, Mr. Ilario the famous director wants to make you the male lead in the film. Hows it? Isn't this good news? Since long ago, you really wanted to play in the film directed by him 'kan—"
"No!" cut Lucio quickly with a panicked face. Ciro was surprised.
"You why? Why do you look so surprised?"
"I don't want to be in the movie!"
"What's? Wh why? Not that you want to— so much"
"Cancel anyway! I don't want to play in the movie."
"But why? What's the reason you turned down this offer outright? You haven't read the movie screenplay at all. If you read it, you'll like it too. I guarantee it! Because the film itself is actually adapted from the novel of one of the popular writers, even he himself wrote the scenario you know!"
"I don't care about any of that. I don't want to!" lucio.
What exactly is this? Why is everything like this? If what I experienced about my death was a dream, does that mean that the dream will come true? Or is it.. It is a prophecy? Then I can't make all that happen! I still want to stay alive. Lucio suddenly broke out in a cold sweat. Fear suddenly overwhelmed his body.
"Huft~ at least read the scenario first after it was decided. You should have a specific reason for refusing their offer anyway!" ciro.
Lucio looked at him. "I don't want to because I picked a bad feeling about this movie project."
"What do you mean?" Ciro frowned.
"I don't know if you'll believe me or think I'm weird or anything. For sure, I really have a bad feeling about this movie project." Lucio glanced at the script on the table that Ciro had given him.
"Venice dell'amore. A romantic-drama story that tells the story of a woman trying to find her lover. But it turns out to be betrayed, then met with a man trapped in the shadow of his former fiancee who died. The figure of the main character of the woman who has a face similar to her former fiance, making the main character of the man try to approach her and hope to establish a relationship with the main character of the woman…"
"…The relationship between the two then becomes more intense when fate continues to bring them together in unexpected situations. As time went on, their closeness fostered feelings in each other's hearts." Lucio explained a little about the content of the scenario he remembered.
Ciro speechless. Before long the man clapped so loudly.
"Great! How the hell did you know? Have you read the book? I didn't think it turned out secretly that you were a man who loved to read romance novels," he said, seizing Lucio's attention.
"What's? Not like that! I'm not —"
"You have nothing to be ashamed of. After all, there are many people who like this novel," Ciro cut without listening to the explanation.
"I'm telling you this isn't what you think it is! I didn't read the novel!" lucio shouted with a blushing face.
"Then if you don't read the novel, you know where it all comes from?"
Lucio was silent. He turned his eyes the other way. Still with a blushing face, he was really embarrassed if he had to tell her he knew all that from his dream.
"I-I know this might sound silly, but…"
