Hiding the Truth

Lucas threw Kiana's body on the floor so violently that the poor girl's head hit the marble floor of this room. Kiana cried sobbing with her head in pain and with a trembling body held back the fear and sadness that began to fill her, destroying every spirit in her life. Is there no happiness in this world for him? Is because Kiana is a child who was raised in an orphanage that makes her different from other women.

Lucas looked at Kiana's face with disgust and hate, and there was not even the slightest bit of pity in Lucas's heart for Kiana. The man assumes Kiana is the only person to blame in all of this and before seeing Wessica return to him Lucas will continue to torment Kiana.

“Can't you believe what I said?” kiana asked with a wailing look.

Lucas stepped closer to Kiana and Kiana who were still sitting on the floor rewinded her body with a patter of tears. Kiana was terrified when she saw those sharp eyes and wanted her heart to run away from Lucas, but let alone to run away even Kiana moved the trouble once to make him only able to surrender with what happened.

“I will never believe with a child does not have a status like you.” Firmly Lucas with a hardened jaw.

“No child in the world wants to be born without a warm baby of both parents and do you think I like being insulted by many people,” explained Kiana expressed her heart unconsciously.

Lucas began clutching Kiana's jaw violently as if the man wanted to fuse the poor girl's jawbone. “You deserve all that! Who knows your parents are criminals or maybe your mother is a entertainer in one of the night world and your birth is not cooled so that you end up sad in the orphanage.”

Kiana's body shook with emotion and unconsciously the woman immediately floated her clasped fingers forming a slap on Septian's handsome face. “You have the right to insult me Lucas, but you have no right to insult my parents, I know, I am a child of an orphanage however, I am a child of an orphanage, I believe if my parents are from a good family and one day I will prove it to you,” Kiana's voice trembled with tears that kept falling soaked her pale face.

Septian clenched both hands and one of the men's hands was ready to touch Kiana's face to make Kiana immediately close her eyes reflex. Lucas saw the tears of fear and sadness emanated clearly from Kiana's face until the man stopped doing the violence and Lucas chose to release Kiana this time, yes only for this time.

“I should have directly slapped him into unconsciousness, but why did I instead go and let him boldly speak such insolence to me,” Inner Lucas by stepping away from Kiana.

Tonight Kiana sleeps in the shed accompanied by pillows and bolsters that are worn out and have an unpleasant smell. Kiana enjoyed the sound of her stomach that sounded to hold the hunger because from this morning Kiana had not put a mouthful of rice or food of any kind into her stomach and only water that Kiana managed to drink. Kiana felt so weak that she unconsciously fell asleep in her sleep with both hands hugging her starving stomach.

Anna and Raka are still sitting on the terrace of her house enjoying the beautiful stars at night. The two men had felt much calmer when they learned that Lucas had never been suspicious of Wessica's sudden departure. The two men were even shameless as they sacrificed their adopted daughter in order to protect her biological daughter.

“Ma, did Wessica not contact you at all?” ask Raka. The man looked at his wife with great attention.

“No,” Anna replied without seeing her husband.

“Papa don't have to think too much. Because Septian loves our daughter so much that she will never let our company just fall. Now all we have to do is pray for the bad boy to come home soon,” Anna said.

“Mama spoiled Wessica so much that she was brash like this! If until Lucas asks his man to investigate all about Wessica then we will be depleted by him,” said Raka.

“Papa do not talk like that and Papa should also try to get rid of Lucas' suspicions on us,” Anna said as she clasped her husband's hand asking for help so that his beloved daughter does not get in trouble.

Kiana woke up in the middle of the night when her nose smelled the aroma of such delicious cuisine. Kiana started rubbing both her eyes and she faintly noticed that something was on the plate that was within her reach. Kiana looked at a middle-aged woman who was smiling at her.

“Ka-you who?” kiana asked with her body.

“My name is Lena, I am a waitress in this house,” said the middle-aged woman introduced herself.

“Why did I just see you?” asked Kiana who was starting to feel calm and her fear also started to evaporate a little.

“I've seen Miss Kiana from the beginning, but I didn't show myself, it was on Mr. Lucas' orders,” Lena explained.

Kiana took a sip of her own saliva as the girl looked at the stuffing on the plate not far from her current position. Lena smiled faintly then gave the plate to Kiana.

“Nona, hurry up and eat so I can get out of this room before anyone knows,” said Lena.

“Is Lucas not haunting about this?” kiana and Lena asked directly shaking her head. “I can't eat this, I don't want you to get in trouble,” reject Kiana by sipping her own saliva.

Kiana's stomach sounds indicate if the girl is hungry, but Kiana does not want to if until Lena gets in trouble because of her. Lena's sincere eyes made Kiana could not bear to let the woman in Lucas's law for secretly defying the cruel man's orders by feeding him in the middle of the night like this.

“In this hallway there is no cctv so no one will know and preferably Miss eat it soon,” pinta Lena with pity.

“I will not die from hunger and I can still endure this hunger until the next day, but I will not be able to bear if anyone is affected by the problem for helping me.”
