Chapter 39

Once in the car, Rani immediately opened the chicken and ate it with pleasure. Even he did not feel the spiciness at all even though clearly the red color of the chili is very much above the chicken.

"You?" rani asks Dito because she sees Dito who keeps paying attention to him.

Dito just shook his head. Besides she does not like spicy food, she also does not want to eliminate the smile on Rani's face by eating only the food she wants. Moreover, the chicken is small because it is all gone.

"Make you all right" Dito replied as he handed Rani a bottle of water after making sure her pock ran out.

Rani immediately accepted it and drank it. While Dito took a box of used chickens and threw it in the trash can on the side of the road. Rani also washed her hands in the sink that is usually on the side of the road as well.

Both of them returned to the car slowly.

"Is there anything you want again?" ask Dito, because their mumpung is outside the house because if it's at home Dito will be lazy if you have to leave the house again.

Rani was silent for a while and seemed to think of something. Then he immediately shook his head.

"Son, we go home to Boo." replied Rani.

"Okay, darling." Dito immediately focused on the streets.

After a while of walking, Rani suddenly saw someone who was walking on the edge when Rani focused on looking ahead. Rani feels familiar with him even though he looks from behind.

"Darling, isn't that Princess?" rani asked while pointing.

"Where?" tanya Dito who was also looking in the direction pointed by Rani.

Dito noticed her and sure enough, he also felt that he knew her even though he had only met her once.

"Try to stop Boo" said Rani.

Without answering Dito immediately did what was said by Rani. Dito pulled his car a little far in front of the Princess so that the Princess did not feel surprised there was a car that suddenly stopped in front of him.

While the Princess immediately stopped walking when there was a car that stopped in front of her. He knew if it wasn't Kelvin's car then the Princess stopped for fear that it would be the bad guys who would bother him.

As soon as the car stopped, Rani immediately got out of the car and walked over to the Princess as well as Dito. While Mr. Satpam who had been following the Princess also stopped and continued to pay attention to who knew the car that stopped in front of his Boss was a bad person.

"Daughter." call Rani once they're close enough.

The princess can breathe with relief it turns out that it is Rani and Dito who are friends of Kelvin.

"Bak Rani, Mas Dito." call the Princess as soon as they've faced each other.

"Why are you walking here alone?" rani asked while looking around. "You're coming home from work? Kog didn't bring a car?" ask Rani again because she is curious.

Princess was silent for a while she was confused as to what it would be like to Rani and Dito.

"Ehm.. My car broke Mba into walking." replied the Princess hesitantly.

Dito could read the Princess' doubts in reply, and he could guess it must have something to do with Kelvin but Dito did not want to ask first. He just kept quiet and let Rani ask the Princess. Because Dito himself will ask Kelvin.

"Trus you didn't order a taxi online? Not afraid of your own path?" ask Rani again.

"There is no Ma'am, but it's not here yet. This is also waiting on foot." replied the Princess again by lying.

Dito continued to look at the Princess in search of her honesty but the Princess did not dare to look at Dito. It was as if the Princess felt that Dito knew if she was lying.

"Ow that, yes you cancancel just like us. We deliver it to your house." said Rani offered.

The princess thought for a while and finally she decided to go with Rani and Dito. Because the Princess thought that Kelvin would not come.

"Yes" replied the Princess.

Finally they got into the car and Pak Satpam returned to the office because he had made sure that his boss was fine and met with people he knew.

The doctor had just come out of the ER room and Kelvin immediately approached him to ask about Clarissa's condition.

"How's Clarissa, Doc?" ask Kelvin.

"The patient has passed his critical period. I'm sorry, what's the relationship with the patient?" ask the doctor because the Hospital must know who is in charge of the patient.

"Ehm.. I'm just a friend of Doc's. And I just happened to meet him." replied Kelvin.

Because now Kelvin has nothing to do with Clarissa but Kelvin is quite worried if something happens to him. Moreover, Kelvin knows that in this city Clarissa does not have anyone so she feels responsible for it.

"Alright. 1 hour longer the patient can be moved to the room. You can sign the letter of responsibility first in front" said the doctor.

 

While in the car after the Princess said her home address Dito deliberately continued to lure the Princess to tell the truth. Because Dito's gut feeling actually has everything to do with Kelvin.

"Yes sorry, Mom. Actually I made a deal with Brother Kelvin." replied the Princess softly and finally admitted it.

Rani who heard it immediately tilted her seat so she could see the Princess directly. Because the Princess is sitting in the back seat.

"You mean?" ask Rani curiously.

Finally the princess told me everything. From last night Kelvin sent him a message not to bring a car because he was the one who would pick him up until the incident they had just met with the state of the Princess who was walking alone on the grounds while waiting for Kelvin if later he came because Kelvin could not be contacted at all.

Dito secretly clenched his hands because he was upset with his best friend. Just last night they chatted and saw Kelvin listening to his words but it turns out that Kelvin did not listen to him. Either the woman like what Kelvin wants, even though in front of him there are women who are good enough in Dito's assessment.

"Geez!" rani exclaimed as she covered her mouth with both hands.

"Where the hell is Kelvin Boo! Uda makes promises but also not kept!" rani's annoyance.

"You don't know where Kelvin Boo is?" rani asked her husband.

"Yes do not know, it's the same day you." answered Dito calmly, when in fact he also felt furious with his best friend.

"Uda justin aja Mbak, Mas, it's okay kog. Tomorrow most can be contacted." said Putri feel bad with Rani and Dito.

"What's wrong? Guys don't be easy to give such an opportunity Put! Later he feels big head." replied Rani who is still emotional.

"There's Poo, we don't have to interfere so the Princess is the same Kelvin who solved their own problems" said Dito.

"Yes Ma'am, let me finish it myself" replied the Princess added.

"Yes but right." said Rani who will speak but soon reprimanded by Dito.

"Poo!"

"Yes" answered Rani with a frown and confirmed her seat by looking ahead.

And along with that they have arrived in front of the Princess' house. After saying thank you, the Princess said goodbye to Rani and Dito who had brought her.

 

While at the Hospital, after the signature Kelvin returned again to the ER room and Clarissa has not been moved to the ward. He then returned to his seat in front of the ER. Suddenly he remembered his promise to the Princess.

"Geez!" kelvin said as he looked at the clock on his wrist. And the clock was showing late at night.

Kelvin immediately reached into his pants pocket to pick up the phone. And it turns out that his phone just died somehow. Kelvin activated it immediately.

"Why can forget gini anyway." grumbled Kelvin fooling himself.

As soon as the phone went on there were many missed calls from the Princess and the organizers at the cafe she ordered. There was also 1 missed call from Dito.

"Rani? Does he know?" muttered Kelvin because Dito doesn't usually call him.

Kelvin immediately contacted the person in charge at the cafe he had booked and apologized for not having any confirmation from Kelvin. And of course Kelvin had to swallow the loss for everything he ordered. But he doesn't mind it.

Kelvin also wanted to contact the Princess but because it was too late at night he was afraid to disturb the Princess's rest so Kelvin decided that tomorrow morning he would contact the Princess to explain the real situation.

Along with that the door to the ER room opened and several nurses pushed a gurney and Clarissa lay there with her eyes closed as well as an infusion hose attached to her hand to be taken to the prepared ward. Kelvin followed them all the way to Clarissa's ward.

And actually the Princess could not fall asleep. After arriving home he immediately cleaned himself and then just lay on his bed. Even he did not feel hungry at all because only the disappointment he felt over Kelvin's attitude was somehow Kelvin meant he did not know.

And from that moment the Princess actually kept checking that the message she sent to Kelvin had just been read but there was no answer from Kelvin until now. Though the Princess just wants to know what happened with Kelvin, maybe Kelvin was sick or busy.

"Indeed is only considered a friend." murmured the Princess.

"Daughter, Princess don't expect more of you" he continued, chuckling at himself.
