Chapter 2

And sure enough when Kelvin finished his bath, Clarissa had not been seen coming out of the bathroom. Kelvin immediately took his clothes and put them on along with it Clarissa opened the bathroom door slowly. Clarissa came out trying to cover her body with both hands. As if knowing Clarissa's anxiety, Kelvin took the initiative to take her shirt and give it to Clarissa so that the dress could be covered by Kelvin's shirt.

"You're wearing this darling" Kelvin said, giving it to Clarissa.

But Clarissa did not immediately accept it Clarissa just looked at him without intending to take it from Kelvin's hands. Because after all Clarissa is still traumatized by what just happened with them.

"I'm waiting outside" Kelvin said, putting his shirt on the side of the bed and then walking out of the room to the living room in his apartment.

Kelvin headed to the kitchen to pick up a cold drink in the fridge, then immediately sipped it to the ground. After that Kelvin sat in the dining room with his head lowered and put his hands on his head.

Kelvin regretted his actions. Clarissa is a good woman but Kelvin has ruined her. Although he had promised to marry her, it would be a huge trauma for Clarissa. Clarissa deliberately studied in this big city while her parents were out of town and Clarissa was forced to live in a boarding house so Clarissa was an independent girl.

While in the room, after making sure Kelvin really out Clarissa walked slowly to the side of the bed and then sat there beside the shirt Kelvin had just given her. Clarissa stared for a moment at the shirt and then turned to look at herself in front of the makeup mirror in front of her. Suddenly tears came back to her cheeks. It was as if the tears never ran out.

"I'm sorry Dad, Mom." said Clarissa.

After feeling quite calm, Clarissa immediately stood up and put on the shirt Kelvin gave her. Clarissa took the powder and lipstick in her bag to simply polish her face so as not to look puffy because she kept crying for hours.

Clarissa immediately came out of the room after making sure her appearance was not as bad as it was a few hours ago. As soon as he saw Clarissa coming out of the room, Kelvin immediately got up from his seat and approached Clarissa.

"Darling.." said Kelvin.

"I want to go home." Kelvin's words were immediately cut by Clarissa. And only one of those words came out of Clarissa's lips.

"Okay, I'm going to take you to the hostel, but we stopped by the cafe first, yeah, we haven't eaten since last night." kelvin said because he remembered last night had not eaten because at the party Kelvin focused on his liquor.

Clarissa did not answer even she walked ahead of Kelvin and out of Kelvin's apartment. Kelvin who walked behind him felt quite relieved, because as hard as his head Clarissa he was still willing to obey Kelvin's orders. Evidently with Clarissa wearing the shirt that Kelvin had given her. Even though Clarissa still kept quiet because she was wrong.

Along the way in the car, there was no sound at all. Clarissa kept staring at the window to her left and looked dreamy. While Kelvin occasionally glanced at Clarissa and she did not dare to say anything.

Kelvin immediately drove his car to his cafe. Then park it. After turning off the car engine, Clarissa seemed not to move in the slightest. He was still in the car.

"Darling... We eat first." said Kelvin who tried to hold Clarissa's hand but immediately pulled Clarissa back.

"I want to go home." replied Clarissa without turning a single look at Kelvin.

"Yes I know, we ate it out first I promise to take you back to the boarding house" Kelvin said gently because he did not want to further damage Clarissa's mood.

Clarissa sighed softly by closing her eyes. Without saying much Kelvin immediately went out and walked round to the door Clarissa then immediately opened the door.

With laziness finally Clarissa came out honestly she did feel hungry even since last night because she kept crying.

Kelvin immediately approached where Clarissa was sitting, he deliberately sat next to Clarissa because he wanted to talk about important things after last night. But Clarissa still did not want to look at Kelvin.

"Honey, I promise responsibility after making sure the cafe is stable. I beg you to be patient in a moment." - Kelvin pleaded, he held Clarissa's hand in Clarissa's lap.

Clarissa initially refused but Kelvin insisted on holding her hand so Clarissa let him go. But Clarissa's response remained silent even looking at Kelvin was not.

No matter how long Kelvin's meal came, his employees immediately laid on a table complete with drinks that had already been ordered by his Boss.

"Please sir" said the employee before leaving Kelvin's desk.

"Thank you." Kelvin answered flatly, he had already let go of his hand on Clarissa ever since her employee came, because of course Kelvin would not if his employees knew what had just happened between him and Clarissa.

Because almost all Kelvin employees already know that Clarissa is Kelvin's lover.

Kelvin immediately takes food for Clarissa. Kelvin already knew Clarissa's favorite food so without Clarissa asked Kelvin to order it for her.

"Honey, eat first." said Kelvin while putting a plate in front of Clarissa.

Without looking at Kelvin, Clarissa immediately grabbed his plate and slowly stuffed the food into his mouth. Although his stomach was hungry but his mouth was very difficult just to chew food let alone swallow it. But Clarissa insisted on eating because she did not want to get sick.

Kelvin who stared from the side felt sick. He felt really guilty towards Clarissa. Clarissa became what she is today. So in Kelvin's heart he promised that if he had made sure the cafe was okay then he would soon marry Clarissa. It doesn't matter if Clarissa is still in college, because Kelvin doesn't want to lose a woman like Clarissa.

Clarissa did not finish her meal, as her mood was not fine so it was very difficult for her to eat well. Kelvin had been waiting faithfully.

"Not spent?" ask Kelvin.

Clarissa only answered him by shaking her head slowly as she drank her drink in a glass with a straw.

"Yes, it's okay. Home now?" ask Kelvin.

Clarissa just nodded then immediately got up and walked out of the cafe first. Kelvin followed him immediately.
