Chapter 21

Budi was called by someone to go to the Princess' room.

"What is it that I was called to the Princess's room?" ask Budi.

"I don't know, I was just told to call you." replied the man then immediately left Budi with all his own fears.

"Huh yeah they've started to suspect me? It's not possible, is it? Okay I pretend I don't know anything." muttered Budi then immediately went to the Princess' room.

As soon as he arrived at the door Budi immediately knocked on the door and was welcome to enter and then sat in front of the Princess and Ratna.

Princess and Ratna just silently looked at Budi who had started to misbehave.

"Sorry what did Miss Kog call me?" tanya Budi who tried to relax when in his heart actually felt afraid.

"Do you feel you have a mistake?" ask the Princess who wants to test the honesty of Budi.

He pretended to frown to think. And then he shook his head answering the question from the Princess.

"I don't think there's anything wrong Mom. I've been working according to orders and regulations." replied Budi confidently.

Hearing Budi's reply instantly made Ratna and the Princess look at each other. Princess also gave a code to Ratna to show something to Budi.

"Can you explain what this is?" ratna asked while showing the evidence obtained from Kelvin a few days ago.

I accept it and examine it. Honestly when he saw that he was surprised why his boss could get the evidence. And the change of Budi's face did not escape the vision of Ratna and Princess. But Budi went back to acting, pretending he didn't know anything.

"This is what Mom? I don't understand." asked Budi tried to relax again so as not to be caught if he was scared.

The princess also sighed softly, feeling regretful with Budi's attitude.

"There is still a lie caught" muttered the Princess.

Then Ratna explained all the evidence. How Budi has cheated the company and even made the company lose.

"Trus why weren't you honest from the start when we asked?" ask Princess.

"I'm afraid Mom." replied Budi.

"Fearful? Why when you want to commit a crime don't think long before. Why is it that when you do this you don't feel afraid?" ratna asked in an angry tone.

"I'm sorry I was forced to do it Ma'am." replied Budi again.

Then he told me what happened to his life. How he is in debt because of his own mistakes.

"I've given you a lot of opportunities but you never use them well. And now you choose your own path. I'm sorry I can't keep people like you" said the Princess firmly.

"Mom, please give me another chance. I promise I will not make any more mistakes, I promise I will work well." said Budi pleaded.

But the princess did not pay attention to him. It is not that he does not care for his employees but the Princess has indeed given a lot of opportunities. And even though Budi is taken out of the company, Putri will still give severance money.

"From tomorrow you will no longer be an employee of this company. After you leave this room, you can go straight home. Because your current job has been taken over by others." said Ratna while thrusting a brown envelope containing several pieces of money as severance money for Budi.

He was silent, because this was his own fault. And just as he covered the carcass would still smell too.

Finally, Budi said goodbye politely and did not forget he also apologized to the Princess and Ratna. Budi is still grateful that the Princess did not report it to the police for simply firing her.

Ratna and Putri could breathe a sigh of relief after Budi's departure. Because they can solve this problem by peaceful means even though there are parties who feel hurt.
