MYSTERY RIMBA BARA: Old Man Stick Crystal

There is a lot that the three of them have to do to meet their daily needs. Baskara divided the task between him, Laras and Tanjung. Heavy business such as collecting wood and taking water he was working on, while work in the kitchen and improving the cottage was done by the two girls.

To provide enough food, Baskara often hunt or find fish in the river. Laras and Tanjungpun do not want to lose, they are painstakingly around the hut collecting leaves, mushrooms, and forest fruits that can be eaten.

"Don't go too far, we don't yet know what danger you might encounter" the young man asked each of the girls for permission to leave the cabin.

It didn't feel like they were trapped in the woods for nearly two weeks. Baskara has tried to explore many times, but he has not seen any signs of a way out.

But Baskara is not a weak young man, he has confidence in the end of course he will find a way to leave the forest.

That morning, when the sun was just peering in the eastern horizon, Baskara had woken up from his sleep. As usual, he immediately picked up two buckets made of wood to fetch water in the river. He deftly ran a little towards the river. Several times he went back and forth to fill the wooden barrel behind the cottage with water. There was no fatigue he felt, because such work he often did while still demanding knowledge.

After he finished the task of fetching water in the river, back he intended to go around the forest. On her feet straight in front of the cottage. Among the stretches of green grass, there are some large trees standing there.

Just a few tens of meters away, his watchful eyes furrowed as under the large tree in front of him was seen a figure of an upright standing body. Who's human? Her thought. Unknowingly accelerated steps towards where the body figure he saw was standing.

Aye! A human! Shouted his heart. How not to be excited, if there are humans, of course there are settlements in this area as well, he concluded.

After a close look just clear the figure of the person. The old man, the bearded man and the long bearded man who had been completely bleached, was dressed in white, and was holding a staff. Baskara's eyes briefly glanced at the base of the staff, a yellowish-white crystal stone as if embedded there.

The old man smiled kindly at Baskara's arrival. His head nodded as if welcoming the young man.

They were now only a single spear apart, Baskara fused two palms together, bowing in reverence.

"Greetings sir" he said.

"Greetings to ananda, too" replied the old man.

For a moment Baskara was silent, for some reason slightly hesitated her mouth to say.

"Don't hesitate, it seems that not long ago ananda was in this area," said the old man, as if able to read the young man's mind.

"Eh, right sir. Introduce, the name of the servant of Baskara, a wandering young man, do you live in this area?"

The old man nodded, "I have indeed lived here a long time Baskara, people know me as Ki Raganata."

"But since I got here recently I've seen Aki?"

"Ha, indeed I always move around, as my feet step," Ki Raganata explained. "Is the cottage over there where Ananda lives?" tanyanya while looking at the direction where the cottage made Baskara standing.

"Rubber Ki" replied the young man.

"Wake up by yourself?"

"Ohh, so it is," The old man who introduced himself as Ki Raganata stroked his beard. "How did Ananda get into this forest?" ask the old man back.

Baskara looked at the parents' faces, looked shady and contained policies. I don't know why he immediately put his trust with the new parents in his meeting. So then Baskara told at length his experience lost some time until finally forced to set up a simple cottage in the forest.

"That's how Ki, it's amazing, this forest looks the same as other forests, but it's really unique, because it's how difficult it is to get out of this place" Baskara said.

The old man smiled, "Ananda was wrong, it is not surprising to hear your story, all the years I roamed the forest are not without purpose, because actually this forest is not just an ordinary forest, but a forest, who has entered the coals, it will be difficult to get out, even until now I have never met a human who berahasi, l" explained Ki Raganata.

"I mean?" ask the confused young man.

"Behold, the forest that you are currently walking in is called Rimba Bara, the forest in which is full of mystery and deadly embers that are always threatening. One area that a dozen years ago was hit by the spell of the Mystical Spirit, so that none of the creatures in it can come out of the forest," replied the old man at length.

"Do you mean there are evil characters who have cursed this place?"

"On the contrary, it is not evil, but prevents wrathful space from spreading throughout the earth" Ki Raganta explained.

"Evil, anger anger? What crime is there in this forest Ki?"

"And Ananda will know it" as the old man looked up at the brighter sky. Then he went back to saying, "Obviously, no one asked me, just a burdening responsibility, so I assigned myself to let the rest of my life keep going, in order to remind anyone who is lost the danger awaits."

He looked at Baskara's face, "Like ananda for example."

Baskara pensively, trying to permeate the words of the old man. Does that mean he's in danger now? Danger that he did not know but had been mentioned by the old man? Ah, his brain's getting messed up with all this.

"Lantas, what should I do Ki? When is the danger real, is there a place where we take shelter?" tanyanya.

The old man shook his head, "I don't mean to ask you to take ananda's shelter. There are indeed some occupancy in this region. But especially Ananda, maybe the atmosphere, the appearance, or the vibration of the soul, which is clearly a human like a master does not deserve shelter, that's what I feel," he replied with a glance sharpened eyes.

Hearing what the old man said, Baskara was more confused, he looked at Ki Raganata who was seen sticking his staff easily to stand upright, and then took a seat at the big root that protruded out. Many want to ask, but all mixed, difficulty for him to sort out, maybe later he talked again with the old man? Uh, what if he comes back turns out the old man has disappeared from his place?

As if you are able to read your mind again, Ki Raganata said, "Go back here if there is something Nanda wants to ask, I'm not going anywhere for now."

Baskara gasped, he nodded, "Well Ki, then I beg you first, there is some work I want to do," he said. Then he bowed respectfully and left the shade of the big tree where Ki Raganata was sitting quietly.

Bara Rimba? So that's the name of this forest? A forest that is cursed by someone, so that no creature can leave the forest? Crime said that? How horrible is his crime to be locked up in such a cage?

Conclusions kept popping up in Baskara's mind. One thing that makes him excited is what the parents say, there are some occupancy in this region, it is a sign that people will meet other than him. And besides, there is now an old man who became the fourth among them, although it seems frail and old, Baskara has confidence that Ki Raganata keeps a hidden power in him.

Perhaps driven by the soul of the knight who had been forged for years, now Baskara no longer has any interest in finding a way out of where he is now. One spark that is now burning, is the desire to investigate the mystery contained in this forest.
