The Red Moon

Bandung, August 13, 2018.

It has been two days since the school incident was so horrendous caused by the Star and Diana. Since then, the stars have never heard from the Moon again.

At first he was just ordinary. Because for him he doesn't think too much about a woman's feelings. The next day he got word that Moon was not attending school due to illness.

And this morning when the two of them met by accident in the classroom corridor, her self could see that the Moon's eyes were swollen and blackened. And clearly visible sad and empty eyes from both eyes. When they crossed paths, the Moon only glanced at the Star for a moment before continuing its footsteps.

Stars aren't stupid enough not to know what's going on.

From those dim eyes, the Star knew that in these two days the girl must have cried. Not going to school because of illness is just the reason for the girl. And he wasn't stupid enough not to know that he was the one who made this girl.

"Month.." Stars can only sigh at the back of the Moon which is now getting away.

The star continues on his way to class while continuing to think about what path he should take to make amends.

Is all this his fault?

Wasn't this because Diana asked to go to school together? But the Star also approved of the girl's wishes.

'Is this the Moon's fault for expecting too much from me? No, from the beginning like her I've given too much hope to the girl.' Stars try to digest what is really happening.

Even though he was aware that he was an insensitive person. But he still understands some things about women.

He must immediately resolve this matter. He didn't want any woman to cry because of him.

For that Star made the decision to meet with the Moon after school to speak. Anyway, tomorrow he's leaving for the race and won't be seeing the girl for the next two days. For him delaying the problem will actually make the problem worse.

After the school bell rings. The star went straight out of its class and headed towards the second floor. He's headed to Moon class. He stood quietly in front of the class waiting for the girl to come outside. All the disciples who had just come outside were shocked to see his presence. But they immediately accelerated their footsteps to go home. Do not want to get into trouble for meddling in other people's problems. He waited until no more students left the class. But he did not see the girl at all. After a quiet state, he looked inside the classroom.

And sure enough, the girl was still in the classroom, sitting in her chair. Looks dreamy with an empty mind and eyes that are so swollen.

The star approached the girl.

"Moon..."

There was a sense of surprise clearly visible from the Moon's face when it realized the arrival of the Star. But he immediately returned to show his gloomy face. He lowered his head and did not want to see the face of the Star

The star could only sigh long at this. Then the Star sat on the chair right next to him.

"Hey..." The stars try to make him pay attention to the stars.

But the girl didn't budge in the least.

"Month.forgive me. I know you must hate me so much."

"..."

"But you should also know, the girl I was with yesterday was my sister. Please don't misunderstand me. I don't want you to be so sad like this. Especially because of misunderstanding."

Tears began to flow from the Moon's eyes.

The star stretched out its hand and grabbed the hand of the Moon.

"Don't cry. I can't watch you cry all the time."

The star wiped away the tears that kept wetting both cheeks of the Moon.

"But my brother promised.." Finally the Moon began to speak even in the midst of her sobs.

Stars know what the Moon means.

"I'm sorry. I know I've made you cry again."

The moon raised its face and looked at the face of the stars. The eyes were already swollen enough as they continued to shed tears.

"Stop crying. I beg..."

Instead of stopping crying, the girl's cry became more and more so. Suddenly he immediately hugged the body of the Star. Dunking his face in the arms of the Stars. Wetting the Star school uniform with her tears.

The star had already felt enough pain to see the girl's swollen eyes. So he doesn't want to comment now.

He simply stretched out his hand and rubbed the Moon's hair so that the girl could quickly calm herself down.

Quite a long time passed until he also did not realize that the day was getting late. The moon's sobs had long since stopped. Yet the girl continued to immerse herself not budging in the slightest.

He seemed to be asleep from being tired constantly crying. The stars really can't make this girl cry.

The star rubbed the girl's head. Unknowingly, the girl finally woke up. But he still did not want to release himself from the Stars.

After a moment of silence, the girl finally opened her voice.

"Sister..."

"Yeah.."

"How long has the Moon been sleeping?"

"It should have been an hour." The stars remember the time.

"Sorry so make Brother have to remanine Moon here."

"It's nothing. The important thing is that the Moon is happy and not crying anymore."

"..."

Moon shuts sound back. The star that saw that could only sigh in the heart. But come to think of it, when will they continue like this?

Time keeps passing. It's getting late. She was afraid that Moon's parents were worried about finding her daughter. He was also afraid that someone might catch them. He was afraid it would become a rumor later.

"So, isn't it really just your sister with him?" Moon opens sound again.

The man the Moon meant was Diana. Their relationship is only a brother and sister. There was a certain reason as well why she did not want her relationship with Diana to be more than that. Even if she had to be honest she did have feelings for Diana. Because Diana was the only girl who had always accompanied him all this time. He also made her rise again when she fell. He was also the one who had treated the wounds in his heart.

"Yes, Diana and I only have sister and sister status."

Time stopped between them. There is a kind of feeling that makes both hearts beat faster than usual. There's a sweet taste that comes out of nowhere. There are millions of happiness that cannot be expressed through words alone. And the stars love this feeling. A feeling he had long forgotten.

"Month.."

"Yes, Brother."

"When do you want to hug Brother? It's the afternoon. Your parents will be looking for it."

"Biarin. I like to keep kayak gini. I feel at home constantly swerving Brother."

"Don't kayak that. Come home this afternoon."

"Emm.when I want more."

"No way. Let's go home this afternoon." The stars said firmly.

"Yes, by the way." Finally, Bula released himself from the stars. He could see that the Moon was better than ever.

"But the Moon doesn't have a motor. This morning we were taken to the same school as aunt."

The stars just smiled to see it. They went home together that afternoon.
