Somplak Boss

Somplak Boss
Part 25: Seizing the Treasure

I smelled the fried rice Zahra had just cooked. It looks so delicious. I can't wait to devour it.

"Feel you making me opiate" I said, sipping on the hot fried rice that was still smoking a little smoke.

"People don't make opium?" god while giggling.

I smiled thinly. "Can you?"

"Can what?"

"I'm raising underage women."

Zahra snorted in annoyance while pinching my arm. "Ishh, I'm old to know!"

I chuckled amusedly at his annoyed expression. Moments later, our laughter stopped after the sound of cell phones coming from inside the room.

Drrtt…

"Let's pick up the phone, yeah." Zahra moved from sitting. Then step into the room.

My eyes are watching her disappearance. For quite a long time, I tapped my spoon onto the plate bored. Waiting for Zahra to return.

Out of curiosity, I finally decided to catch up with Zahra in the room. Perhaps the one who called was Rena.

I stood in front of the door after arriving on the second floor. Zahra seemed to reach for her phone that was on the nightstand. The woman's forehead frowned when she saw the name on her phone screen.

"Aunty?" Zahra hesitated to pick up the phone. His eyes briefly panned towards me, I nodded as a sign for him to pick up the phone immediately.

"Ha... hello, Auntie?"

"Zahra you've forgotten? What date is this?"

"It should have been your husband's deposit to Auntie since yesterday!" said the bayah woman across the street who was loudspeaker by Zahra.

"Aunty doesn't know herself, yeah!" Zahra clenched her annoyed hands.

"Your husband has promised to pay back taxes to Auntie after marrying you, Zahra," said aunt Susi lightly.

"No brain! You've taken all my property for years, now you're still robbing me again!" Zahra looked annoyed half to death.

"Fixed covenant of Zahra!"

"No favor! I'm gonna kick you out of my house in a minute!" zahra shouted annoyed.

"Based on shameless filthy family!"

I let out a rough sigh hearing their debate over the phone. "Let's just say, I'll transfer 60 million today, as promised."

The woman looked at me. "Sir Erwin?"

"I'll transfer

60 million."

"But sir, our economic needs for a month are not up to that. It's a pity that the money is only given to the real family," said Zahra to keep her cell phone away so that her aunt would not hear what she said to me.

"For the sake of peace of life, both of us," I replied unwilling to take a headache.

Zahra sighed harshly. "Gee!"

Tut's.

Zahra pecked her phone and threw it on the bed.

I smiled again and sat down next to Zahra. "Don't be sad" my god.

"Well, how's our money going?"

I chuckle. "If you're worried that tomorrow we can't eat, then you've insulted God."

Zahra shone a spotlight on me with a sad face.

"If you are worried about the difficulty of life, you are insulting God indirectly."

"God never sleeps, Zahra. God is always there to help us. Everything we face has been determined by God. As long as you live this life there will be no calm. But, believe me God is always near us." I stroked Zahra's cheeks with all five fingers.

"Where is our happiness? Of course in heaven. That is why we need to be patient in our lives, to keep His commandments and to stay away from His prohibitions."

"Heaven is likened to the adhan magrib during the fasting month. Favors instead of breaking the fast after holding hunger from dawn to magrib? The pleasure does need to be held in order to feel more delicious."

Zahra. I smiled knot.

Everything in this world is a trick. Like a mirage, the more you chase the more greedy you are, the more you swallow the more thirsty you are, there will be no satisfaction. In the end, we will still complain, even whatever we want everything to have been realized.

"I've told you before, don't talk about money in front of me. My property will not run out even if you use it to make a luxury home a complex." I chuckle.

"When did Erwin help me get them out of my house?" great-grandson Zahra.

"Later if you stop calling me Father. I'm your husband Zahra, you should be more romantic if you call."

Zahra clucked in annoyance. Shift his eyes in the other direction.

"Not to be sad, we play to your orphanage, yuk!" I held both of Zahra's shoulders.

Zahra looked enthusiastically. "Correct, Sir? Comeing! I haven't been to a home in a long time either." Zahra immediately moved from her seat back to the dining room to continue her breakfast.

The woman does have an orphanage that she manages herself. Zahra loved them very much. Seen from the twinkles on his face when telling about the cuteness of the children's home.

Zahra wore a pink black robe. While I, wearing a plain black shirt with formal pants typical office employees.

"Alhamdulilah, Mother," replied Zahra smiling and hugging Anti's mother. They look very familiar.

"Hmm, is this your girlfriend?" asked Bu Anti after taking off her embrace while researching my look full of admiration.

"I .. This is my husband, Mother." Zahra smiled clumsily

Miss Anti looks shocked. "Geez, you're married

Why are you not news?"

"Hmm, sorry, the story is long. I'll be telling a story later. Uh, which kids, Bun?" tanya Zahra switched the conversation.

"Owh, for a second, yes, Mother call first." Bu Anti nodded, though still looking curious. Maybe, about our marriage.

"Kids, Brother Zahra is coming!!!" yelled Miss Anti.

A moment later there were many little children and some children of Zahra's age scattered out to embrace Zahra. They look cheerful when welcoming the arrival of Zahra.

I smiled looking at him.

"Zahra's a good boy."

I turned my head as Miss Anti opened her voice. The middle-aged woman smiled as she saw the children pulling Zahra to play with them.

"I am grateful that this orphanage did not fall into the hands of his cruel uncle. This orphanage is the only relic managed by Setiawan's own children."

I watched Ms. Anti's story closely.

"After the death of Mr. Setiawan and his wife in a tragic accident. Zahra's custody as an orphan falls into the hands of her uncle, Mr. Aji." Bu Anti let out a rough breath.

"However, instead of taking good care of Zahra-class orphans, they act arbitrarily to Zahra."

I was pensive to hear an explanation from Miss Anti.

"Not only that, they seized all legitimate property belonging to Zahra as heirs. They treated Zahra badly from childhood. They never loved Zahra at all." Miss Anti wiped the sweat that seeped into her cheeks.

"Zahra was never allowed anywhere other than to go to school and to this orphanage. They're afraid that Zahra's saying something."

I slipped both hands into my pants pocket. "This case can be dragged into the law."

"The problem is that no one can help Zahra for now. We were all silenced by threats from Mr. Aji. Zahra also could not dwell because her movements in the house were constantly being exploited."

"Who is the Setiawan family's personal lawyer?" ask me with a heavy voice.

Ms. Anti was silent for quite a while. "I don't know, Mom."

"We have to find Mr. Setiawan's personal lawyer to take Zahra's estate back" I said.

"It's not that easy, Mom."

"Why?" ask me while glancing towards him.

"Pak Aji is a very cunning person. Even ...," said Miss Anti stopped. He seemed to doubt.

"What?" manya curious.

"Even the one who planned the assassination of Mr. Setiawan was him."

I jerked.

"From the beginning, his goal was indeed to master the property of Mr. Setiawan."

Both my hands are clenched. All of this cannot be allowed.

"He used all means to get rid of Mr. Setiawan," continued Bu Anti.

"I suspect, if Mr. Aji's family has changed the will of the heir, the treasure gono-gini pak Setiawan."

My hands are getting clenched. "It can't be allowed to."

***

I gathered many people to pierce the life history of Mr. Setiawan. To find out who the personal lawyer of the deceased Mr. Setiawan.

The will and distribution of the rights of the heirs must be completed immediately. Before Mr. Aji's family took over everything.

Zahra had no idea who her father's personal lawyer was. Because since childhood he was never allowed to know by people closest to Mr. Aji. Even Zahra was locked up in the room when Mr. Aji held an event at home.

My wealth is indeed a lot, will not run out even if used poya-foya our grandchildren in the future. It's just that Uncle Aji's family abominations hurt my feelings a little.

As Zahra's husband, I feel responsible for all of this. Although the Zahra family's estate is not half of my salary.

I glanced at the dreamy Zahra next to me. Perhaps, he was busy thinking who was the lawyer closest to his family.

My eyes shifted back to the front. Towards the highway.

Obviously, I realized one thing. Am I starting to really love Zahra?
