“You were saying follow me anyway, Han? We are here half dead to help you, to keep no one in the know. How even you make it harder ‘sih” snapped Zia. It seems like he's really angry.
“I think that big brother can help us. You see ‘kan earlier he said once bristled oil to.”
“There are sane people who have problems like you right now, Han! No one!” Said Zia again. Now his breath is breathless. It was seen that Zia was trying to ease her anger with great difficulty.
“We report Ustadz” says Zia.
“Don't donk, Zia. Sorry I ya”
“This is not because I'm angry with you, Han. It's because there's nothing we can do. We ‘kan only fourth grade SD. It's too heavy for us” said Zia.
“Iya anyway, Han. Trying something that we do not know even later makes a woe. How's he doing now? After you forcibly pull it out”
“Sick, li! But it doesn't come off either. It seems that plus more fried bananas will also not be able to” said Handoko.
“Ya. We go to Ustadz Shawab” Ali replied briefly.
“If you want to give up, go ahead! If indeed you can only that, yes already, thank you for all the help” said Handoko. Zia's face turned red. But Ali pulled Zia's hand to rush out of the toilet so as not to increase the blackness of his best friend because of Handoko's words.
“That kid yeah! We are already dizzy thinking about how to help him, even brazen” said Zia while dragged Ali to the toilet door. Then Zia stopped in front of the toilet, making Ali have to pull Zia's arm stronger. But Zia remained unmoved. “Already, do not take heart. Come!” said Ali. “I'll just wait here, Li. You go to Ustadz Shawab”
“Eh, how! How delicious are you. Together lah!”
“I keep it at the door so no one goes to the toilet. Later I said the toilet again can not be used” said Zia relaxed while directly standing in front of the door like a security officer.
“then let me take care. You to BP” room
“ It ‘kan your problem, Li. Cook me there!”
“Enak only! Why me? Handoko alone is stupid”
“But ‘kan who looked this morning road with Handoko who, you! Who was told to look for Handoko the same ustadzah Intan who, you” replied Zia lightly. All the words of Zia could not be denied Ali. It felt like Ali was retaliating by threatening Zia. But what Zia has done so far, is actually more than enough for a friend. Ali rushed to BP's room.
Among the students, BP room is actually better known as UKS room because it is more often reserved for health services such as immunization and vitamin A for students. This room is also where first aid for injured or broken students is given. There is also a cot as is prevalent in the puskesmas in this room. Usually children who pass out while studying outdoors rest on these cots until they are conscious. Rarely does anyone come to this room because it has broken the rules. The homeroom teacher usually takes care of this issue firsthand in class.
Ustadz Shawab was given the mandate to be a BP teacher and vice principal. So everyday he usually spends his time in this space to help with school administration work. Usually he is accompanied by an ustadz or ustadzah who gets a schedule to take care of the UKS. Usually selected from ustadz and ustadzah whose classes are hours of sports lessons or skill lessons. Ustadz Shawab also leads workshops for skills lessons for grades 5 and 6. Ali was very amazed by the tools in Shawab's ustadz workshop, especially saws and electric drills that could be replaced. Ali said it looked like a Transformer robot hand. But according to the school, Ali and the other 4th graders were still too small for such a tooling.
“Assalamu aleikum” Ali said while directly logging in.
“Alaikum salad, ooh.. Ali ya.. the champion of the lecture in the pildacil yesterday ‘kan. What's up Ali? Is anyone sick? ” sahut Ustadzah Dian friendly. Turns out Ustadzah Dian's picket today. Not good news, because of all ustadzah, according to Ali, Dian ustadzah the friendliest and most chatty. The story about Handoko might have spread throughout the school if Dian's graduate knew, Ali thought.
“This... want to Ustadz Shawab” Ali replied awkwardly. Ustadz Shawab is still drowning behind his laptop, looking very serious. He still did not give any response even when Ali was already standing beside him. Ustadz Shawab hopes that Ali will move to Dian's body to ask for whatever is necessary.
“Ustadz” says Ali slowly. Trying to be as polite as possible.
“Yes, what's up Ali” says ustadz Shawab brief. It seems the plan didn't work. He must defend Ali.
“There, a little problem in the toilet. Ustadz can please enggak” of all possible words to tell the situation Handoko, that's all Ali dared to say.
“There's a dirty one? Already to Bang Edi? Just tell Bang Edi, it will be cleaned” replied Ustadz Shawab without moving his gaze from the laptop screen.
“Not ustadz” sahut Ali. But the words stopped there. Ali just stood wordlessly beside ustadz.
“Set the problem what Ali. Ceritain donk's! Cook the lecture champion is still timid for the lore” said Ustadzah Dian from his desk, forcing his way into the talks. Maybe at once to make Ali stop bothering Ustadz Shawab. But Ali remained silent, staring fixedly at Ustadz Shawab until he received the full attention of his interlocutors.
Ustadz Shawab gave up, he then looked at Ali while forcing a smile. “There's what”
“Eh.. Ustadz can come with me to the toilet. Let's see firsthand the problem” said Ali timidly.
“Why, tell me first. If Ali has a story, maybe enough Bang Edi to there”
Ali only answered him by looking small at Ustadzah Dian. Trying to signal that he can not say directly because there Ustadzah Dian. It doesn't seem to be just Ustadz Shawab who understands. Ustadzah Dian noticed the conversation they also understood. He giggles after finding out Ali is ashamed of the story because of her existence.
“Then same ustadzah Dian? Uh! You are just Li. We ‘kan kamu” teacher said Ustadz with a smile. Ali lost his mind to keep himself polite. Ali then tried to approach his head to the face of the Shawab ustadz to whisper his news on the Shawab ustadz. Unknowingly, Ali's left hand grabbed the back of Ustadz's neck, which was planning to move away. Then Ali told me about Handoko who got stuck in the toilet.
“Hah! How Can?” pekik Ustadz Shawab's. “Come! Where?” said Ustadz Shawab as he got up from his chair and rushed out. Ali followed. Before getting out Ustadz Shawab involuntarily fizzed “Handoko it thought how ‘sih”
Ustadzah Dian who had seen it all, was left curious without explanation. Then he checked the list of 4th graders. Ali in 4B, Ustadzah Intan's class.
Assalamu alaikum. It was really fun in class. I didn't realize there was a missing student. There's Ali ni, in BP's room.
A short message from Dian's ustadzah slides into Ustadzah Intan's phone.
