"She betrothed me to someone without asking for my first approval."

Skylar was stunned in disbelief after Teon revealed the reason for the disagreement with the Mother, the girl really does not believe that Teon who incidentally is a young lecturer who successfully has a lot of rupiah coffers can still be entangled in such unilateral matchmaking.

"Assalamualaikum, Papa!" Skylar searches for Papa's whereabouts upon his arrival at the main entrance of his house while Teon just silently follows the beautiful girl in front of him with her distinctive shady face.

"Waalaikumsalam, why scream anyway?" papa Lucas poked his head from the kitchen door.

"Wait here!" skylar's orders are absolute on Teon.

The man in pure white was almost like snow according to him, he sat on the sofa letting Skylar run small towards the kitchen where the Papa was. A decision of this magnitude should indeed be discussed with parents especially Skylar had never faced a situation like this before.

"What's up, baby?" papa Lucas asked Skylar when the girl reached the kitchen.

"Turn off Papa's stove first, we have to chat with Mr Teon right now!" skylar whispered an emphasis on Papa Lucas making the middle-aged man confused.

"I came here intending to ask Mr. Lucas' blessing to marry Skylar," Teon replied confidently but did not give off a serious impression of authority.

Teon pulled both corners of his lips into a smile that was so mesmerizing. "i'm serious, Mr. Lucas. I've asked Skylar for a direct answer before but he said he wanted to ask how Mr. Lucas answered first."

Papa Lucas seemed to weigh, really surprised to hear the explanation from Teon.

He did not expect that his only child would be proposed to people so soon even before he managed to get his doctorate.

"What can you give my child?"
