"There's a guy who just said something like that to me, Pa. With eyes so clear that look at me expectantly."

Papa Lucas looked at his daughter with a smile on his face indicating he did not mind hearing Skylar's words a split second ago.

"Papa's never met him, so Papa can't determine if he's really the guy you need or not," papa Lucas said casually after taking a few sips of warm milk coffee from a porcelain glass in his hand.
