SISTER SISTER

SISTER SISTER
Episode 20 "Heartbreak"

Nael ran away from where he had just entered. It was stupid because he was following the person he thought was valuable here. Now he must face the fact that he has just been betrayed. In front of her, with her own eyes, Nael sees Kena kissing with Rio!

“AAARRRRGGGHHHHHHH!!”

That roaring scream was the defense of his collapsed heart.

Nael kept running, crashing into whatever was blocking his way. Break through whatever's in front of him. Hordes of walking people, officers distributing free balloons, passing merchants with wheelbarrow, flower pots, and ornaments attached to the running track.

He didn't care, he wanted to get as far away from there as possible. As far as possible from the bitter taste. As far as possible from the pain. Some of the people who got hit yelled at him, but Nael kept running. Get out of the playground onto the highway, over the pedestrian bridge, through the street alleys, and stop at a corner of a quiet shop.

Both of his arms leaned against the wall. She was already crying, feeling betrayed, jealous and left behind. Wasn't he himself also going to leave Kena one day, then why was he angry now?

If Kena was with Rio, she would not have to worry that the girl would be lonely. But.but....

“I don't understand,” moans Nael. “Just thinking about it, you're with someone else, making me sick. Tell me why does it feel like this hurt? Ahhhh...hiks..hiks....”.

Nael banged his own chest with a fist. Where the heart is. Where the wound is lodged. The first time she felt. So unbearable and enveloped him. Nael's body slowly slumped down, sitting limp. His breathing began to be irregular, tight, the pain was burning all over his body.

“Hiks...”.

Nael then reached into his pants pocket, taking out a small box from there. He looked at the box fixedly, his stuffing sounding again. The box was given to her as a storage area when she returned home from England. Nael opened the box with half his consciousness. His head was getting dizzy, accompanied by stomach pain that spread in his stomach.

Fluoxetine, Sertraline, Venlafaxine, Alprazolam, Clonazepam. Names that make him sick every time he hears it. The medicinal aroma entered his smell. The strong aroma that made him remember the isolation room he had always been in, for a long time. Nael puts some of the medicine directly into the mouth in one swallow. Exceeding the dose he should have taken.

“Uhuk uhuk!’

His saliva dripped, blending with his tears. Her lips were dry, her throat was thirsty, her heart beat was roaring violently. The severed breath and the growing fear, caused him to experience hallucinations. Nael curled up on the cold concrete floor. The sliced laugh, visible in his eyes now was Kena who was gently caressing him. Whispering sweet words from her pink lips. Nael in warmth.

The circular smarthband on Nael's arm was still ringing aloud from earlier. Indicates that the medicine he is taking has not had an effect on him. She should have called her doctor, but....

Nael just wants to be alone now.

“Kena. Anandia Kena Altair.”

Nael clenched his hands on his chest, enduring the burning pain. Then he clenched behind the shadow of Kena, immersing his face in the embrace. Deck that feels warm but stifling.

“What should I do?” whispers lirih. “Hiks hiks. What should I do..”.

Nael's gaze was clouded by tears. Like that, he lay unconscious. The shadow of Kena, which was held tightly by Nael, displayed an agitated mimic, not knowing what to react to the current situation. Reluctantly he hugged Nael back and rubbed his head, in his mind raging an infuriatingly contradictory feeling.

“Ah, whatever...” because of resignation.

Gero still did not dare to look at Valeia's face, his heart felt almost dislodged because he was so afraid he heard the girl's answer. She was also afraid that Valeia would hear the sound of her loud heartbeat. They were both in that position for quite a long time, making Gero regret his decision to shoot Valeia.

Shit! My heart! Shit! Shit! Rutuk Gero in heart. He felt he had been played by his own body.

But Valeia's situation is no different from Gero's current condition. Her heart was beating so fast that Valeia was afraid that Gero would hear her too. His mind was in a state of confusion between should he accept Gero's love statement or maintain his feelings for Rio.

I should how? Thought Valeia was confused by her own feelings.

“Valeia,” flow.

Rio took off his embrace and asked Kena to stop the action. They stopped kissing, with lips that looked swollen Rio smiled awkwardly. As she looked at Kena she knew that the two of them were already aware of their feelings.

“I feel like running now,” said Kena riled.

“Yes, me too. To where he is.” Agree Rio.

They pause for a moment, “After we get out of here, our relationship-”

“Only as brother and sister.” Continuing confidently, Rio nodded.

They embraced for the last time before exiting the sloping house. A farewell hug for their stupid feelings all along. After this they will officially acknowledge each other as brother and sister. Rio lowered his body to be as handsome as high as Kena, then gently rubbed the girl's head.

“Ah, I won't agree with you to be with Gero.” Rio reminded, “As a big brother, I don't want your feelings to be wasted on a guy like him.”

With a small laugh, “My feelings are not for brother Gero kok, so brother Rio calm aja.”

“Good,”

“Hmm, brother Rio know that brother Gero likes the same..,” before Kena finished talking, Rio immediately realized.

“Shit! I forgot they were alone now!” rutuk Rio, “I'm looking for them first. I don't want to be late to be honest with him. Well, even though it's too late.”

Rio rushed off, before reaching the exit he paused for a moment and looked back. He waved his hand.

“Good luck brother!”

After running out of the house tilted place and Kena looking for answers to their respective feelings. Rio tried to contact Valeia to find out where the girl is now. Several times however the call is always switched to message mode. Gero was also unable to be contacted. Rio's fog looped around the park and the places that the two people were likely to come to. From the implied message before they parted, Gero had already announced that he would shoot Valeia. If Rio could just want to thwart that plan.

“Shit! Where are the two of them?” rutuk Rio's upset.

In the end Rio returned to where they had first parted, then calculated from the direction of Gero and Valeia's running. He rushed over just by relying on his instincts. Running through the park with his eyes fiercely looking back and forth for fear of missing the figure of Valeia or Gero. Then he found them, sitting by the side of the garden. Gero turned his back to Valeia, while their hands held each other. At that moment Rio knew that Gero was waiting for Valeia's answer. He's late!

“Valeia,” Oghed Rio as if calling the girl's name with his heart.

He wanted to interrupt the scene in front of him, but his steps felt heavy to get close. He can't. Rio was stuck there with a feeling of pain that he was hard to accept. Perhaps this is how Valeia felt when she saw him with another girl, or Gero's feelings when Valeia was with him. A feeling of jealousy that seeped in the heart, burning him.

Right now he was eager to take Valeia away, pulling her from there, releasing their grasp. He wants to hit Gero with all his might, beat him, and insist that Valeia is his. But Rio can't do all that. Because he was the first jerk here. He had no right to protest against Gero's actions, or feel jealous of Valeia. He doesn't deserve.

So he just stared there, unable to leave, unable to move. Until Valeia's eyes saw his whereabouts. Then Gero also saw her, and their awkward atmosphere enveloped the air. One thing Rio inexplicably did on reflex. Which makes that awkwardness even more ironic.

Both Vaelia and Gero felt their hearts pierced. In the distance, Rio was smiling towards them with a pitiful look.

The guilt silenced the three of them.
