"Where's Ara?" bryant asked with his voice.
The piercing question touched Darren's eardrum. His lips were too small to say. If Ara is being treated, instead of explaining. His hands raised pointed at the passageway on the left side. Where one of the rooms in the row was where Ara lay weakly helpless.
"ARAA!"
Like people are not sane. Bryant ran checking every room of the hallway that Darren pointed to. The man continued to step foot with a thirsty look in his eyes. Do you know what it feels like when the breath is choked? Such is the feeling of someone drowning in fear.
Heart beat is not in rhythm. The face paled, the body trembled and the clear mind disappeared. Let alone to sit. Even breathing, it feels impossible to do. Now that love, no doubt. A lover cannot live without his soul mate.
Bryant's insanity searches for Ara's whereabouts, leaving Sam clutching Darren's shirt. The sharp eyes kept piercing, "What happened? Say it!"
What does suffering mean? When all hope falls without rest. No backrest, no crying. Yet, continue to cut hearts. The jarring grief befriended the screams that echoed in the hospital hallway. Bryant's voice was so sad. How could a brother put up with all that?
"You'll know, Sam. Come along! I'll show you." Darren replied undaunted, then let go of Sam's hand to stop gripping his shirt.
They are friends, but only Sam and Bryant are like brothers. Even so, Darren did not hesitate to make sacrifices, again and again. What is the meaning of life? If the heart and mind are only about selfishness.
After walking together, Darren and Samuel finally entered the same room. Where Bryant disappeared into silence. Turn the knob, then push slowly. The room with complete medical equipment.
A woman with her eyes closed. Infusion hose stuck, even breathing apparatus installed. A sweet face, but so pale as an undead. Wh why? After all this time. What kind of meeting? Ara lay weakly helpless, while Bryant was helpless to see the reality in front of him.
Darren raised his right hand, then held onto Bryant's shoulder. The look in his eyes was fixed on the bed staring at the face of the woman who had always been the love in his heart. He is not a hypocrite, because his love is not selfish love.
"What is the meaning of life? As human beings, we can only pray, try and submit to the Creator. Bry, if the reason you let Ayra go is because I love her. Then forget it."
"I can live without love, but I won't live. If anything happens to Ayra." Darren let out a long sigh, trying to neutralize the heat in his eyes. "Love is just an embodiment of gratitude. Not to be forced. Especially donated."
Bryant was stunned to hear all that. What does this mean. Ara was injured again because of her decision? If yes. How would she be the perfect match for a woman as good as Ara? It was like I missed the moon.
"Ayra always says. Ka Tama, the stars in the sky are always twinkling. Beautiful makes everyone want to snatch it, but I don't want stars. The simple girl who became my love, Ayra just wanted to have a husband who loved her."
"Wait a minute." Sam interrupts, then walks over to Bryant and Darren. He looked at the two men, "What really happened? Love and condition Ara. What connection?"
"We love the same woman. But our time is different. Me, someone from the past, while Bryant from the present. The world is so vast, it unfortunately minimizes the encounter between these complicated relationships."
It's a clear statement from Darren. Just contact Sam gave a curse while shaking his tense hands. The man was completely shocked by the reality of the love story of his two best friends and adopted sister. Not just get there.
"Stop!" Sam exclaimed with his hands raised, eyes closed.
It was painful, painful and bloody. His ears were buzzing, unable to listen any further, anyway. The burning heat inside the head greeted the disappointed turmoil. The man guided Bryant to get up, then took his right hand.
Along with Darren's hand who was shackled in his anger. Without a word, the two men pulled. Then, one jolt threw the bodies of his two best friends out of the room. Sam raised his hand, pointing at the door on his left.
"I'm Samuel, Ayesha Ramadhani's sister forbade you two to go through the door of this room, and yes. If you dare to enter. I'll make sure I take my brother away from you forever."
The sound of a loud door buzz, again resuscitated Bryant and Darren. The two looked at each other, "Now, break even."
Sillier. Somehow, the two men could be as thoughtful. It was as if Samuel had given justice as a judge in his first trial. Strange, but real. Really make a head shake.
"Tama. What a beautiful name. Do I have to call you the same, like Ara? Ka Tama's. Very sweet." said Bryant resisted the sense that continues to curse his stupidity.
He just realized. If his decision releases Ara. It became his biggest mistake. How not? Look, the evidence is in plain sight. In a closed room, the woman's body still continues to require intensive care.
It is as if you understand the feelings of your friend. Darren grabbed the body of the man beside him without excuse. "Believe me. Everything will be fine. Ayra you're mine. I can lose her, but I can't see her sadness."
(Trust me. Everything's gonna be fine. Ayra. I could lose him, but I can't see his sadness.")
Sincerity. Who can lower the ego. To recoil, if something is not destined for us. Even if it unites the earth and the sky. Then, will not be able to reach, what else grasps the rights of others.
Like love. Warm morning sunshine. Believe this. If love is real. Then every love will return to the embrace of love. When destiny says something else. God has prepared someone worthy of each of His servants.
"Are you really sincere. Let Ara go for me?" bryant asked, releasing Darren's embrace, as he looked seriously at trying to find a gap of doubt.
Unfortunately, Darren is a real man who always keeps his word. Even for that, he had to lose the most precious thing. That's how Darren Wiratama is. An offended smile is not a fake, but a surrender.
"I can give anything for Ayra's happiness." Darren said, patting Bryant on the shoulder gave assurances of his statement.
Once again, the two embraced with a sense of friendship. Really, when friendship isn't about each other's egos. Lucky them. Where love will be togetherness. There was no word of objection, let alone being envious. Every concern is real.
