Sharing the Beloved

Sharing the Beloved
The Real Farewell

It's been a week. Celline was impressed to avoid Daniel. Even Daniel's phone number was blocked.

Her heart still ached in light of the stifling events that suddenly happened to her last week.

Maybe nothing would have happened if he had decided to date Daniel.

But it seems like it's too late. The time that passes cannot be repeated. And that kept Celline regretting and smothering her chest.

"Cell, there's Daniel downstairs," said Nadine, opening the door to Celline's room slowly.

But the girl seemed to be busy with her books on the table.

"Say I don't want to be disturbed by Nad. I'm learning again" Celline replied without looking at Nadine. Though originally, he was holding back his cries with all his might.

"You're okay, aren't you Cell?!" Nadine walked over to Celline. Hugged the shoulder of his friend. He patted her softly and tried to calm her down.

Celline has been quiet since Daniel dated Nancy. It was visible to Nadine's eyes. Moreover, Nadine and Celline are in one boarding house. Of course a small change to the Celline he felt.

"I guess... Daniel did not really like Nancy Cell," said Nadine Lirih, he said it was not without reason. Because he had previously caught Daniel and Nancy fighting.

"What do you mean?" Celline looked at Nadine's curious face. So why would Daniel date Nancy if he didn't like her?

"Yesterday just like me in the parking lot. Didn't see Daniel in the same way Nancy fought. It's unclear what the problem is. Daniel is so funny with Nancy. He is the same you care. In fact I thought, you guys were dating."

The words from Nadine made him wonder. What's behind everything? Even Daniel didn't want to tell Celline the real reason.

"You want to find him? Poor youho. Outside of the test. Her clothes are all soaked."

Celline. He couldn't ignore Daniel.

Celline got up from her seat. Bring a towel for Daniel. For some reason, his heart could melt as well.

**

Celline stared at the shadow from a distance. Right, his hair and clothes are wet now. He didn't know what was on his mind at the moment. Why would it be raining to see Celline.

Celline gave Daniel the towel. He doesn't talk much. He was silent as Daniel spoke, that was all.

"Wait until we graduate from college yes Cell," said Daniel then break the silence.

"..."

"I'm not gonna fuck with Nancy."

"I know Dan."

"Then?"

"Don't know Dan, I'm afraid my feelings for you will fade with time."

Daniel's stunned. The answer from Celline never thought it would be like that.

Was Daniel's decision wrong? Why does Celline seem to want to stay away from him forever?

"If the rain has subsided, yes Dan, not tasty like the others. What's more, the hostess here already knows that you're Nancy's boyfriend now." Celline stood up, but suddenly her hand was pulled by Daniel's.

Chilly. Daniel's hand was cold from the rain. Celline glanced at the man's hand for a moment and let go slowly.

"Thank you, Dan, I could have your friends all this time. I'll be back as usual when I get used to it. You know what I mean?"

"Cell.." - Daniel, he wanted to take that hand again. And pulled his body into his arms.

Can't Daniel have a choice?

Daniel's phone shook, Nancy's name popped out of her screen. Lazily Daniel lifted him up, not yet able to speak. Nancy knew where Daniel was.

"You're doing Celline, Dan!"

Daniel looked at her. How did she know she was at Celline's?
