Special Edition WW II Part 25 (Towards the Capital)

Under Leia's absolute control, a dangerous expedition to the ruins ends without casualties among the trainees. We also managed to find the lost technology for the Empire.

After continuing to sail for more than ten days, the submarine slowly docked at the dock.

A grand welcoming ceremony was held at the base to celebrate the safe return of the expedition.

The students were surrounded and went to the auditorium, while Leia and I remained silent, took out the suitcases and crystal balls from the safe, and handcuffed the suitcases into our hands.

On the way home, we reported the incident over the radio, and the base instructed us to properly store the suitcase and hand it over to the SS for safekeeping when we landed.

Leaving the submarine, a pair of SS troops stood up, and the SS chief at the base stared straight at the suitcase.

"Everything is ready." The SS leader raised his hand, and the SS soldier behind him pulled and pointed his weapon at us.

"What do you mean?" Leia hugged me behind her and looked at her coldly.

“It's special period. Follow us obediently."

Leia and I were stripped, our luggage was confiscated, and we were escorted to the base interrogation room.

In the interrogation room, the other party didn't make things difficult for us. After a detailed report on the entire expedition, we again attended the welcoming ceremony.

Regarding the cause of Chris and Philip's death, I agree with Leia, they were injured during the journey, and their wounds were infected and died.

Love doesn't say much, I close my eyes and enjoy this moment of tenderness.

Our clothes were accidentally stripped away, and that feeling of comfort continued under the dim light.

The following month, the injured students recovered and returned to the team one by one. The doctors at the base were all amazed by the efficacy of the medicine we brought back from the ruins. Unfortunately, the medicine we brought back cannot be replicated. After leaving a few bottles of the sample, the batch of medicine was immediately consumed.

After all the members returned to the team, the student team was disbanded and assigned to various positions for internships for nine months.

Surprisingly, Leia and I seemed to be forgotten by the base when we did not receive any orders.

Since we had nothing to do, we could only stay in the room every day and spend time reading and sleeping.

At my request, Leia read books on the basic human principles of the empire to develop human thoughts and feelings, at least not to make jokes after returning home.

Finally, after weeks of doing nothing, the base HRD officer sent a removal order. However, the contents of the order surprised us.

This transfer order was issued directly by the Imperial Ministry of Defense, ordering us to immediately return to the mainland on a transport plane.

During my several months of stay at the base, I had a comprehensive understanding of the transportation methods of the land and the Antarctic bases.

Transport of cargo and personnel is commonplace by the navy, while urgent documents and important personnel are handled by the air force.

When air transport is needed, the base will send a large amount of manpower to build a temporary airport, and then land will send transport aircraft to fly to the Antarctic base via South America.

Building an impromptu airport consumes a lot of spare resources, and bases rarely do so except in emergencies.

Since the base was built, there have only been two air transports, one visiting the head of state, and the other because the head of the base is suicidal and urgently in need of a new head of base. This shows the importance of Leia and I to the empire.

The base immediately sent ground troops to build the runway within a week.

Two days later, a plane departing from South America arrived at the base with an introductory speech from the head of state.

Everything was ready, and Leia and I boarded the plane under SS supervision. With the roar of the engine, we flew away from the white continent that brought us many memories, and flew to the warm land in the north.

The plane stopped in South America to refuel, Leia and I rested at the Imperial Embassy for one night, and boarded the plane again the next day.

A day later, the plane landed in Berlin, the imperial capital.
