CHAPTER 16 Staying Stubborn
After finishing some work in his office, Stefan now headed home to his apartment.
Stefan kept getting calls from his mother, Jessica.
Telephone :
^^^[ “Rey, where are you now nak?” ]^^^
[ “Ya ma, why? I'm on my way home to the apartment.” ]
^^^[ “Allisya keeps looking for you, she is very worried about you, why don't you answer her phone?” ]^^^
[ “Ma... Now that I'm driving, I'll call you later, Ok?” ]

Stefan turned off his phone; stefan was fed up of having to be nice to Allisya even though he didn't want to
..."Goddamnit! that girl again!"...
Because of the arranged marriage that his mother had agreed that demanded Stefan must be kind to Allisya.
Only the James family knew the fact that Rey Stefano Johnson was still alive, and the hospital's disappearance was just a scenario created by his own grandfather
Allisya likes Stefan very much, but Stefan is the opposite. Allisya has been hanging on to Stefan since he was diagnosed with Leukemia two years ago, Allisya making the pain to pressure Stefan into getting engaged to him. Allisya refuses to have a series of treatments if Stefan does not want to accompany her. Allisya demanded too much from Stefan, moreover the girl often interfered in her personal affairs, to interfere in her work and friendship environment, her actions made Stefan very uncomfortable.
But because Jessica feels so much indebted to her best friend Shailene, who is none other than the mother of Allisya.
Jessica tells Stefan that it was Shailene who always stood by him and helped him. Now Shailene is at her worst after learning her daughter has Leukemia, as Jessica knows she can't do anything to help her best friend; however, after Jessica finds out that Allisya likes Stefan so much, Jessica begged her son to treat her even better.
The wind felt increasingly strong, the light of lightning and the sound of thunder rumbled, the heavy rain should be falling soon; but a poor girl is still seen standing alone on the side of the road waiting for public transport to pass by with her stomach starting to rumble.
Selina hugged herself, feeling very cold.she would occasionally look back, expecting unnecessary things. Ivan really wouldn't worry about it, he didn't try to hold Selina down before.
Stefan was now on the same road as Selina; he was driving at high speed, suddenly Stefan felt he saw Selina on the road he had just passed, he was ready to stop his car which was traveling at high speed to the point that it made a loud scream.
Stefan looked at the rearview mirror of his car, and sure enough he found a girl standing alone on the side of the road. Stefan wanted to make sure of it; he was driving his car backwards
..."That her?!! I better make sure again."...
Sure enough, the girl he saw earlier was Selina. Stefan then got out of his car; but it seems like Selina panicked because seeing a strange car that drove back towards him is very suspicious, Selina looks like she wants to escape but was held back by Stefan.
..."Hey, uh?"...
Stefan suddenly pulled the girl's arm, making her turn around until their position again became too close.
..."Uh!"...
..."Where are you going?" his tan...
..."You!" Selina who looked worried cackling watched her surroundings which was apparently very quiet...
..."What?!"...
The lightning accompanied by the sound of thunder boomed, making Stefan predict the rain will fall after. Stefan then opened the suit he was wearing; intending to make it as a temporary umbrella, Stefan then pulled Selina closer to him, he hugged Selina's waist intimately. Selina who seemed confused seemed silent was speechless, and sure enough as expected the rain finally fell very hard.
..."Uh?"...
..."Get in the car, come with me?!"...
Stefan hugged Selina, he told Selina to come with him. But the girl was reluctant, and sure enough Selina finally opened her mouth to reject Stefan's invitation.
..."Huh huh? wh-what?!"...
..."Get in the car, come with me. I'm taking you home?"...

Selina was so shocked, Selina naturally did not expect such words to come out of the mouth of a Stefan Abern for someone like Selina.but why would this man care so much about her? though Selina thinks of him as an insane man after she suspects Stefan impregnating her lover and does not want to take responsibility.
