HAPPY READING'S...⚘⚘⚘
The night passed quickly, like the fast pace of the night train that Farid drove from Bandung to his hometown.
Farid sat by the window as a woman with her 3-year-old daughter climbed up and walked up to him. "Excuse me." he said kindly with his jaw-dropping accent while nodding his head as he sat on an empty bench beside him.
"O please, Ma'am!" farid answered while shifting his seat, with his jaw-dropping accent Farid could already guess that he was from Central Java or East Java.
She sat down with her daughter who looked very funny.
"Where are you going, Ma'am?" ask Farid.
"You go home to the Stage, Ngawi, Mas!" said it.
"Oh, where are you?" ask Farid again.
"From Bandung, Abis met his father Bening, because he could not go home, so I came here." he explained.
"Oh, so this pretty boy is called Dek Bening?" ask Farid. The woman nodded. "Does his father work in Bandung, Ma'am...?"
"Erna, my name is Erna, and this is my daughter" the woman said.
"Oh yes, Miss Erna!" Farid smiled. "Did Sister Erna have long been left behind by her father Bening?"
"Lumayan, long enough, and we were also forced to live far apart, because my husband's job is here, and I can't go with him."
"Why?"
"There are some things that do make me have to part for a while with my husband, and hopefully my husband's business is finished quickly and we can regroup as before."
"Aamiin" said Farid. All these remarks by Ms. Erna reminded her, that as complicated as possible later in her domestic life, as much as possible lest they live apart. It's nothing, he also felt himself the original from Semarang, while Nadia was still in college and was in Bandung. Abinya's desire to return and live in Semarang, making him think, maybe he will bring Nadia to live in Semarang later.
At exactly four o'clock in the morning Farid set foot in the state of Tawang Semarang. After bidding farewell to Erna's mother who was sitting beside him, he rushed down with his black backpack carrying a set of changing clothes, sarongs, and a small Qur'an that he always carried, he said, his hand tote a phaper bag containing one ikat peuyeum Bandung as a typical souvenir that Nadia deliberately gave to her family in Semarang. not to forget the black hat that Nadia had given him was always attached to his head.
Farid glanced at the circular watch on his wrist, there was still about 15 minutes left to enter at dawn, the journey to his home still takes about 40 minutes from this station using angkot. Farid deliberately didn't tell his family to pick him up here. He thought, afraid of bothering the house people. Especially when Ba'da dawn, surely his family will be busy teaching their students in his small boarding school.
Farid walked to the toilet to finish his life, then entered the mosque for tahajud and recited and recited the Quran until dawn.
As time went on, until the sun began to appear on the eastern horizon, Farid deliberately waited for the angkot at the terminal near the station while drinking coffee and breakfast to just fill his empty stomach since yesterday.
Amidst his breakfast, Farid remembered his promise, that he would soon give word when he had arrived in his hometown. He also searched Nadia's number and dibiannya.
Nadia who had just finished her morning prayers was still wrapped in her white mukena, half jumped to hear the ringtone from her phone, She took the phone that was still attached to the charger cable on the nightstand, his eyes widened as his gaze was fixed on the contact number of his clan man who was plastered there. "dag-dig-dug.." suddenly the rhythm of his heartbeat grew firmer. Slowly and carefully, Nadia swiped the green button over the screen.
"Assalamualaikum, Ma!" said Nadia.
Nadia's soft voice sounded so carefully in Farid's ears, Nadia deliberately set her voice and speech so as not to slip out the words of her slenge in front of Farid.
"Waalaikum salam warohmatulloh. How was his sleep last night? got it?"
"Oh, Thank God for good luck, and had a dream too."
"O yeah? What dreams? dream of it?" tanya Farid began to dare to tease Nadia.
"Eh, how do you know?" said Nadia plain.
"Hmmm..., the origin of nebak aja si, but the dream did not pass, right?"
"meaning?"
"We are not yet muhrim, so do not shadow the macems just yet! he he's..."
"No, my mom! where I dare,"
"Ha ha.., I was joking. O yes, Mas want ngabarin, Alhamdulillah.., Mas have arrived at the Lawang State. soon want to continue to the angkot ride home about 40 minutes new sanpai home. Do'ain Mas yes, in order for Mas's parents, gave their blessing and immediately drove Mas to menghitbah you to Bandung." explained Farid.
Nadia who heard that, just closed her mouth in disbelief, she was unable to speak, only speechless to feel her heartbeat which now felt increasingly excited. Nadia was eager to cheer, yelling at the happiness she now got, but she just clenched her lower lip and clenched her right hand while saying "Yessss!" but only in the heart of course.
"Young...! Hello...!" Farid.
"O...O yes, of course, Nadia will always pray for Mas and the family as well. and..," Nadia's speech stopped.
"And What?"
"And for the smooth running of our good intentions." Nadia smiled shyly to herself in her room.
"Aamiin.., yes Mas closed first yes" said Farid to end his call.
"Eh Mas...!" Nadia held him back, as if she didn't want to end the conversation.
"Why?"
"Hurry back!" said slowly.
Farid smiled, "Hmmm.., yes, Mas will be back soon for you, Assalamualaikum."
"Waalaikum greetings," replied Nadia, she immediately jumped in excitement after saying her call. Then dropped himself on the bed, rolled his body to and fro so that it filled the still messy bed to vent his happiness. He stretched his face still wrapped in a face on the bed, looked at the phone in his hand, then kissed the screen several times. "Yes...., is this really going to happen? Alhamdulillah Ya Alloh.., You have granted the do'a servant." held a cell phone in front of his chest, his lips smiling clearly shows the happiness he feels at this time.

At 5:30, Farid arrived in front of the pesantren gate, the atmosphere was still quiet, considering that the students were still in the classroom, only a few santri people who passed by there who happened to be on patrol duty today. Farid hurried to walk towards the door of his house that was open, the house was still quiet.
Farid said his greetings, a middle-aged mother came to him, "Waalaikum greetings, MasyaAlloh, Mas! why not tell me you want to go home today? if you go home, you can pick up the same santri to the Statsiun" said Umi Wafa, Farid's mother.
"Father Umi, they're on a salary. Farid can ride angkot," said Farid.
"But, Lek! you must be tired, let's sit down! Umi make you drink."
"Well, Umi called Zia for a moment," said Umi Wafa as he stepped into his youngest daughter's room. "Zia...! You have come home," he said.
Before long the door opened, "Mas Farid Umi?" he asked while gushing his head that was not hijab.
"Eits..., wear the veil first!" the Umi Wafa's.
"Eh, yes Umi forgot hehe..," Siti Azizatul Fauzia who is usually called Zia, the 22-year-old girl is Farid's only biological sister, who is also known as Zia, his attitude was spoiled and very close to Farid. Every chance he would ask his sister-in-law who never came, even though he had been proposed to someone, he said, and he was determined to get married only if this Mas is married and happy with his wife.
The girl immediately grabbed the instant veil, put it on and then walked into the front room to meet her beloved Brother. "Buck...!" he yelled while pouring into Farid's embrace, then his head darted to the left as if looking for someone.
"Search What Deck?" farid asked his sister, astonished.
"Your candidate, where's your candidate, Mas?" tanyakanya.
"Fuck candidate, dateng-dateng in tanyain candidates, greetings first cake, ask the news first cake, even the candidate" said Farid while pulling his sister's instant veil forward so as to make the veil almost missed.
"Ih..., Mas, what the hell is that?" he said while fixing his hijab again, "he said Mas bela-belain work in Bandung to approach your future wife and will soon bring her here? where's she?" ask Zia to her sister.
"Ih..., not very impatient are you, already can not stand marriage yes? ha ha ha. -...,"
"Yes...! what the fuck is.., Zia just wants to reduce the burden of sin," he said with lips forward a few inches.
"Ah..just turned 22," said Farid.
"Eh..., rather than continue to be haunted by the fear of sinning, hayoooh...! kaya Mas ni, from the time of High School harbored a sense of love, uh.ampe now not married, the more sinful" said Zia still pouting.
"Yes, yes.., well..., this time Mas will take Umi and Abi to Bandung to meet the family of his Candidate Mas, Okay?" Said Farid with a smile.
"really?" ask him with sparkling eyes. "Umi heard right?" Zia looked at Umi Wafa, her face was excited.
"Is that true, Mom?" tanya Umi assured.
"InsyaAlloh Umi" Farid said with a smile.
"Alhamdulillah.., Umi was happy to hear it, Umi was sure of your choice, Mas!" Umi smiled happily.
"Whose choice, Ma'am?" ask a young mother who came to him with a 7-year-old child, "Eh...., you to, Lek? just arrived?" he asked again, he was the sister-in-law of Umi, wife of Ustadz Khais's younger brother Abinya Farid, his house was side by side, lined with their house.
"Enggeh, Miss Faiq!" Farid saluted his Bu Lek named Faiqotul Zannah. Bu Leknya this one is indeed very firm and authoritative, especially in front of the santrinuya. His attitude made him very respected by the students.
Farid turned towards the sweet smiling little boy while holding his mother's hand. "Hey Meme darling, how are you?" tanyanya while squatting high-fingered the boy.
"Okay Masku" chanted her tiny lips.
"Ih.., it's so funny to you" said Farid, pinching the boy's cheek. The boy called Meme just smiled shyly.
"Here, lo Ndok! Mas Farid is ready to take us to meet the parents of the candidate, he said." replied Umi.
"O yes.?, Which person..?, Asal e soko endi..?, is she a really good zinc girl, lan iso ngrewangi ngurus pesantren?" (which person? from what kind of family? is she a good girl, who can take care of this boarding school?) the question that was directed to Farid was thrown from the mouth of his mother Lek who was firm without a smile.
"Bok one-on-one to Bu Lek," said Farid.
"Ehh.., indeed that is what needs to be asked now, choose the companion colon, clear kudu, seedlings, bebet and weight e. Ojo change there are regrets in the future, what else until the next generation of Pesantren, or do not let the girl have influenced the sampean. The proof until more choose to live alone in Bandung, rather than here help develop Pesantren."
"We can't decide our own soul mate, Miss Lek? Mate, birth, death, it is all taqdir that has been in line since the time of ajali, and will not be able to be changed again. Farid also can not be sure if Farid's choice is really Farid's soul mate, if it has not really reached the iqrar aqad farid for him later" said Farid.
"We'll look at your choice, Ndok! Mbak sure, Farid will not be wrong to choose his prospective teacher." replied Umi Wafa.
"Eh..., Mum! there's no picture?" asked Zia while nudging Farid's arm.
"There's HP, but I'm going to go back!" Said Farid who suddenly had his stomach wrapped around. "Here, Deck! Look aja! The photo was there, "Farid gave his phone to Zia, and he immediately ran to the back.
Zia showed her sister's phone, opened a gallery and looked through a collection of photos there that was dominated by images of building designs and buildings that had been the result of her designs.
Zia's hand stopped at a picture of a girl in a veil who was in front of a cafee table, her face plain without making up. Zia's forehead seemed wrinkled, but she again shifted the screen, and continued her search, her hand stopping again at the photo of a different girl, the girl's photo appears to smile sweetly with a long brown hijab and ivory-coloured robe, looking so graceful in Zia's eyes. He smiled, then immediately approached Umi and Bu Leknya who were still arguing about his sister's future wife. "Same...! lookit! Beautiful choice is Mas Farid," said Zia while showing a photo of the girl on her sister's phone towards Umi and Bu Leknya.
Umi took the phone and looked at the photo inside with her sister-in-law. "Your message is willing to go all the way after him, Lek! apparently this is the girl that made you reject all the girls that were offered to us" Umi Wafa smiled.
"Hopefully his deed will suit his appearance, too" Ustadzah Faiq later said.
"Aamiin..," replied Umi Wafa and Zia together.
Before long Farid came back to them, Zia immediately returned her sister's phone while smiling at him. "Why, Deck?" ask Farid to his sister.
"Beautiful" said Zia, "It's perfect to be Mas's wife" Zia gave her two thumbs up.
"really? have you seen the picture?" ask Farid.
"Have dong.., I agree!" zia said again and continued to tease him. Farid just smiled, there was a little shame and relief in his heart, it turns out his family already likes Nadia even though only through a photo.
