Training Simulation

Claire fell asleep early and woke up at seven in the morning. The sun was shining brightly on the building.

"Why didn't anyone wake me?!!" Claire rushed to clean herself up then changed into another exercise outfit.

He walked down the stairs from Rooftop to the roofed top floor. Wherever everyone was, every room Claire walked through was quiet and silent. There's no one.

Last night when he just arrived at the State Police Headquarters, he was asked like Selby's question when he just met him in front of the bar.

Claire will still investigate who Minota really is alone without telling anyone including Claude. So he made his own excuses to answer his superior's questions.

"Where have you been Claire? senior team looking for you wherever there isn't. How can you be on the street near the bar where Selby's on the mission? there's no way you could move around that fast"

"I was actually out with some female agents who came out with the elevator"

"Oh yeah? then how can no one see you coming out of the elevator?"

"That's because when I just came out I saw a bunch of suspicious men. I followed them but I lost track of them. They fled too far. I met Agent 201 at the bar"

"Is that so? all right, make sense. Please rest in your tent"

"Good thanks"

It's not that easy actually Claire's superiors believe it. Why can they trust so easily? of course because Selby reinforces Claire's statement with testimony if Claire really gets lost. He also doesn't know what really happened. He can only trust Claire, his friend.

Claire woke up this morning. He went down the stairs unconsciously having reached the second floor. His head was trying to guess who Minota really was. He was dizzy thinking about it.

"N-miss Claire" said a girl in two pigtails with ribbon accessories attached near her hair bangs.

"your name... Ren?"

"Ah right, apparently Miss Claire still remembers it huh?"

"Hm, of course"

Behind the girl's back was a giant white cube room. One side of the cube is transparent so it can see what is happening inside.

Inside the white cube are several male and female agents fighting smart robots that have been successfully developed. They fought like humans.

"What's that?"

"Oh it's a simulation room for practice. The commissioner offered a simulation exercise with the military robots"

"Military robots?"

"Well, they're experts at fighting. Advanced tools"

"Why don't you come with them?"

"I? ah after this my other friends and I will do a simulation"

"Who are you?"

"Shoera, Naomi, Keiko, Selby, and I'm Ren. Actually for female agents there is still one more. It should be six simulation groups each"

"Then who's the male agent who's going to do the simulation?"

"If it's not wrong, Mr. Claude and five other male agents. Time with us"

"Time is the same, huh? what if I fill out a simulation member who is short on people? didn't you say it should be six but only five?"

"really? Miss Claire wants to do a training simulation with us?"

"Why not? I'm planning on showing you some techniques you might not know yet"

"All right!!!" Ren bowed respectfully with a joyous feeling of joy.

A few minutes waiting, it was finally time for the next two simulated teams of male and female agents to train.

"Claire since when are you here?" Claude greeted for a few seconds before entering the simulation room.

"Since then, you've been the only one who didn't realize it"

"It seems so right. So you're doing a simulation exercise?"

"Alright, please cooperate"

"You too"

Both simulation teams entered the simulation room. The controller gives a few seconds to prepare. Later then...

Draper... Draper... Draper...

Military robot footsteps sounded. They also have weapons that are already fused with themselves. They were programmed to attack the ones inside the simulation room. Not part of them alone but the members who do the simulation.

"Prepare!" claude's orders positioned the shotgun.

The number of military robots hit. His frame made of iron made him like a shield that reflected bullets.

Both simulation teams started moving. Runs forward.

Claire looked straight. He is in high focus mode. A few meters away Claire started firing her bullets several times. About the robot head. But they just fell down and stood up again.

After they fell, the robots looked different. They pulled out the gun. Start shooting in any direction.

Claude dodged to the corner of the room. He and Haran who were in one team protected themselves with an iron shield. That's hard to get through with bullets.

Haran sees Selby struggling to escape from the robot that has locked fire on him. Haran immediately ran towards Selby. Protecting him.

Oh....!!!

A bullet exploded near them both. Fortunately Haran still had time to protect Selby with his shield.

"You okay?"

"Yes, thank you Haran"

Claire who saw all of that suddenly felt her entire body shrouded in an aura of anger and revenge. Even though it was just a simulation and the one that attacked him was just a robot still he almost injured his friend.

Claire accidentally dropped her gun. He was unconscious. All he knows is running towards the robot that attacked Selby.

Some robots are blocking it. Claire took out her close-range weapon, a dagger. He kicked some robots and a robot he slammed into the pedestal of the room.

"How dare you!!" Claire cut the cable on the robot's neck. The robot is automatically deactivated.

"Claire!!!" Claude shouted, behind Claire there was a robot that pointed the gun towards Claire's head.

Claire rolled forward a few meters. It is true that the robot was about to shoot his head. But because Claire was quick to move, the shot only hit her friend who had been disabled.

"Thankfully it was still possible. That was close" Claude put up his shield to protect Claire.

"No problem" Claire stared at the side of the white cube that was already littered with dust.

"What side of this cube is sturdy?"

"It looks like it"

"Well, it's worth a try"

"What?"

"You have to help me. Be the push of my leg to jump" Claire's idea was conveyed to Claude's mind.

"I understand"

Claude ran forward quite far from Claire. He crouched his back to his shield which he had set up standing firmly.

Claude nodded giving instructions to Claire that he was ready. Claire ran towards him while preparing to jump. The sooner this simulation ends, the better.

Claude's palms he made as a push to jump. Claire jumped pretty high. A few meters above the robots are busy shooting other simulation members.

Then as Claire was about to land the robot turned its head towards her. I realized someone was approaching him. It looks like the robot is also being stalked by a close-up sensor.

But late. Claire stepped on her front belly. Make it a landing focus.

"Miss Claire?" Ren is busy shooting towards other robots for a moment admiring Claire's high jumping technique.
