Chapter 4: First Mastery Skills

Soon, three smaller virtual pages filled the screen from left to right. A large round lottery wheel filled the courtyard in the middle. The contents of the other two virtual pages remained blurry with the word 'locked' written underneath.

So, I turned my attention to the writing tool lottery wheel that was too big and disappeared to the edge of the screen in the middle yard. I didn't waste time on wasted consideration.I just pressed the red button, and voila, I just hit the button, the wheel rotated at high speed before stopping with the pointer locked on the image of Petr Cech - Sturdy goalkeeper of Rep.Ceko.

"Why does the system offer me goalkeeping skills?" I muttered inaudibly, my voice tense. I was getting anxious after the first round because I didn't get the desired result from the lottery.

Even though I was a defensive midfielder in a short football career in my previous life, I inwardly preferred the attacking position. I will always choose to score goals like Zlatan Ibrahimovich and Cristiano Ronaldo rather than defend like Rio Ferdinand. Attackers have a certain talent in them that can earn them a much higher status than defenders in the public eye. As such, I'm not too interested in being a goalkeeper or a defender.

I pressed the red button again, and the wheel spun for a few seconds before stopping in a box with Carles Puyol - the Spanish defender protecting the ball. I didn't even bother to catch a glimpse and use my last chance to turn the wheel.

This time the wheel turned a little longer. And after what seemed like years to me, it stopped with its clues locked on to the image of Andres Iniesta - the Phenomenal Spanish footballer. He stood with the ball at his feet but looked into the distance.

"Thank God," I muttered with a deep breath.Iniesta is one of the phenomenal players, he can provide beautiful and accurate passing-passing, has a good vision of the game, and he can also score even if not as a striker. I sharpened my eyes to read the words under Iniesta's image.

But instantly, I felt a headache strike my brain as the system infused new information into my mind. But moments later, my head became clear, and I noticed that there seemed to be no visible transformation in my body or mind.

Thus I tried to open the statistics tab of users who had been flashing red in the User Interface system to understand the statistical changes.
