Chapter 23: Pre-Games Training

“You do not need to worry, as long as you use the gym between 6 and 8 am, you do not need to pay sat usen.” He said with a smile.

“Oh, very good. I'll definitely check it out on Saturday.” I said.

My training with the U-19 team will only be done on Friday and Monday. I'll have an entire weekend to check out the gym.

“Alright then we will meet tomorrow. Rest, you need a break to undergo activities tomorrow.” Said Mr. Thorgan

“Good Sir.” Our word.

He left our apartment to go back to his house. Meanwhile Ryandi went into his room to rest. Before that, I borrowed Ryandi's phone to let my parents know today. After that I took a shower, ate and rested.

*The next day*

I received a temporary residence permit from the police station and managed to open a bank account. Surprisingly Mr. Thorgan kept 2,000 Euros which was my monthly stipend soon after. He doesn't seem to mind the fact that I haven't signed with Anderlecht's team or the RSCA Youth Academy. When I asked him about it, he just smiled before telling me to perform well during the game on Tuesday.

During the day, I returned to my residence and had a light lunch before starting my preparations for my first Practice session today.

Since Anderlecht's senior team used the Lotto Park Stadium that afternoon, the coaches had arranged for the U-19 Training session to take place at Dreve Olympique. It was a football field belonging to the Anderlecht Academy Team.

I reached the field around 14:30. I won't have any trouble finding Dreve Olympique because Mr. Thorgan took me there this morning. When I got there, I noticed that over twenty players were already dressed and doing light warm-ups on the sidelines. They were mostly standing nearly six feet tall with the physique appearing more muscular or comparable to my physique.

There are some players who are quite famous in the future that I saw in that group of people. Of course the most phenomenal there is Romelu Lukaku a tall striker who will play at famous clubs such as Inter Milan, Chelsea and Man Utd. Nathan Kabasele is a talented midfielder. Jordan Lukaku - A left-back who plays for Lazio, Dennis Praet a central midfielder who plays at Torino, Leander Dendoncker a defensive midfielder who plays for Wolves in the Premier League. And the only one who has Indonesian blood among them is Sandy Walsh. A fairly resounding Right Back who played at Machelen and Zulte Waregem.

I didn't disturb that group of players and quickly put on my new soccer clothes. I have bought several sets of socks and a new pair of Nike shoes after receiving my allowance today

Soon, the fully dressed me started warming up alone . I started by running on the spot before running from a corner flag to another flag along the goal line. I made sure to include forward and backward sprints in my routine as I pumped my arms up and down in one rhythm with my pace.

Sweat droplets flowed down my face like a gentle tropical rain and dripped onto the synthesis grass in the field. But I didn't stop my routine until I felt my muscles were active and ready for intensive soccer practice. During a short career in my previous life, I understood the importance of warming up the body before doing intensive exercises. This will help improve my flexibility while reducing muscle pain and the risk of injury.

I ended the warm-up with some light stretching before returning my attention to the other players. I want to see some of their talents using the system. I firmly believe in the principle of ‘ get to know your competitors like you know yourself. ‘

I picked up one of the balls that were on the sidelines before clicking on the lookout tool. I had to come into contact with the ball so that it could be used.

“DING”

I focused on the interface as soon as the familiar system notifications sounded

I focused the virtual circle on Romelu Lukaku, one of the best players on the pitch right now.

I was at a loss for words after seeing the translucent virtual screen in front of me. I wonder if all the players in the team are talents above all A class or only Lukaku is special. Lukaku is only a little older than me but his stats are much better than mine. The only stat I excel at is Gaming Intelligence which I fortunately improved due to Iniesta's Vision acquisition.

What surprised me the most was Romelu Lukaku who had a B value for the X Factor stat. Up to this point, I did not understand what that attribute represented. The system has left me without a clue as to how to increase my Factor X.

I wanted to continue my analysis of the next players but I realized that the coaches had arrived. They had just blown the whistle calling everyone into the middle circle. I closed my system and ran towards the trainers. I was eager to begin my first training with the Anderlecht U-19s

“Is Nero Juniar here.?” One of the two coaches shouted after making a brief speech to the players sitting in the centre circle.

“Here.” I said who sat behind the group while raising my hand. I noticed that the middle-aged coach who called my name was quite tall and his face was mostly covered in a thin, slightly overstuffed beard that stuck to his skin.

“So you're Nero.” Said the coach, starting to observe me with the unwavering attention of the predator. There was a might in his eyes a kind of cold gaze mixed with seriousness. It was an unreasonable coach performance. At this moment I knew that I would be in a difficult time if I didn't manage to impress her. And the next few words from the coach have proved my conjecture.

“Welcome to the team.” He said after watching me for a few seconds.

“But keep in mind that you are still on probation. I hope Thorgan's parents tell you about this.” He said, looking at me curiously.

“Ya, right.” My reply chose to ignore the confused expressions of the players in front of me, I guess they were unaware of my addition to the team.

Mr. Thorgan has warned me not to antagonize the coach while touching on some of the conditions I must meet before sealing my move to Belgium.

“If your performance is substandard during these two Training sessions, I will not bother to include you in the line-up for the upcoming matches. Are we clear?” tannya

“Ya coach.” My answer was not affected at all by the coach's words.

During my past life, I began to understand that the coach liked one thing: winning. The danger of this job makes coaches tend to like players who perform well and are eager to win. I need to show the coach that I am a pretty capable player from my first training with Anderlecht U-19.

And I did that during the next two pre-match training sessions.
