"We leave the horse here" said Mehru.
"Is this not too far away?" ask Kheiren.
"It's okay. We'll hunt while collecting medicinal ingredients for Uncle Matuo."
"Have you thought about what kind of medicine would be suitable for Uncle Matuo?"
"Seeing the condition, the most important thing is that we have to lower his body heat first. I noticed that the cleanliness of the house was less awake. Maybe that's the main cause."
"You're right. The house looked unkempt, I even smelled an unpleasant scent from inside the house."
"Maybe we can tell that to Aunt Rumbe."
"Sometimes I'm grateful they haven't had a child."
"Why?"
"What if her child is infected? it would be even more pity, if you look at his sick condition like that."
"You're right. Seeing Matuo's helpless uncle, it would definitely not be easy for a child to endure such pain and itching."
Mehru and Kheiren finished tying their horses to two medium-sized tree trunks. Kheiren and Mehru walked through the forest in search of various types of plants that can be used as medicines.
"Stop!"
Mehru signals Kheiren to slow down.
"Did you hear that?" ask Mehru.
Kheiren rigged his hearing device sharply. The girl heard a familiar animal voice she heard. Kheiren flashed his smile wide.
"If we can get that, maybe for three days we really don't need to hunt."
"You're right. Let's conquer it!" timpal Mehru prepares his arrows on a bow.
Kheiren and Mehru walked among the trees. A wild boar was chewing on a piece of bamboo shoots.
Kriiiieeett
Mehru pulled his arrow to aim at the jet-black boar.
Whuuuussssshhh
Tap
Groooookkk
The arrow slid right into the belly of the boar. But beyond Mehru's expectations, the pig has a strong body so it is still able to escape even though in the condition of the arrow that is still stuck in his stomach.
"Cursue!"
Mehru and Kheiren run after the boar by following the blood.
"The pig was very fast running. Does he have magic?" kheiren.
Mehru's eyes stared intently at the pig running. With a slight jumping motion, Mehru shot the pig from the top of a tree branch.
Whussssshhh
Tap
Grooookkk
Grookkkkk
This time the arrow hit the pig's thigh, so the pig fell down and fell.
Tap
Mehru came down from the tree and approached the pig lying on the ground covered with blood.
"I'm sorry I hurt you twice. But we need you to survive" Mehru stroked the pig's head.
Hosh
Hosh
Hosh
Kheiren had just reached the place where the pigs were lying.
"How can you do that without giving this animal a chance to escape. I'm afraid in the future we'll have a hard time catching the hunt."
"Why?"
"All the animals must have been scared and moved away from seeing the way you took out that pig."
Mehru chuckled at the words of his best friend.
"Woahhh this is very heavy Mehru.how do we carry it?" asked Kheiren who tried to lift the Pig, but it failed miserably.
"We'll bring it together."
"That's really supposed to be. Otherwise, we'll die with this pig." Answer Kheiren.
"Don't we have to pull out the arrow first?"
"Break the arrows."
"Why not pull it?"
"The blood will come out a lot. While the blood can be processed into delicious food.
"really. I forgot about that." Answer Kheiren.
After fighting for a long time, Kheiren and Mehru arrived also where their horses were symbolized.
Huh
Huh
"It's really crazy. Exhausted," Kheiren lay on the ground with a breathless breath.
"This pig must be eating well, so his body weight is excessive" said Mehru while taking a jug of drinking water on a horse saddle
"of course. There doesn't seem to be any fat animals like him in this forest. It signifies that he is the most ancient animal that ever existed" Kimpal Kheiren said.
Kheiren snatched the pot of drinking water that Mehru had offered, after quenching the girl's thirst.
"Help me to raise this pig on a horse" said Mehru.
Kheiren immediately stood up and helped Mehru lift the fat pig on the girl's horse.
"Are we going home now?"
"Preferably so. The sun is leaning towards the west, it's a sign that this is getting late. I'm afraid I don't have time to rest after processing this pig."
"Emmm. You're right, let's go home!"
Mehru and Kheiren mounted the horse, and drove it slowly. While talking about many things.
"When are we going to Uncle Matuo's house again?"
"Tomorrow. I have to concoct a medicinal plant first,"
"alright. I will accompany you" said Kheiren.
After a long journey, Mehru and Kheiren finally arrived at his village. Mehru and Kheiren lowered their hunting results to be immediately processed by Saguni's mother.
"Woahhh.it looks like today you got a big catch."
"Yes Ba. Maybe we were told to rest for three days, so as not to finish off the animals in the forest." Mehru replied with a chuckle.
"Saguniiiii.see this,"
Kuolo shouted the name of the wife. Saguni came out in a hurry because he was washing clothes in the back.
"What's wrong?" ask Saguni.
"Your duties will increase Saguni, look at our mighty daughter, she brought a fat pig for us to eat."
Saguni smiled happily as he looked at the fat pig. It meant that he could enjoy the tender meat of the animal.
"What are we going to cook it?" ask Saguni.
"Just give it up." Answer Kuolo.
"Auntie. I would love to eat a whole roasted pig that has been given spices. That way the meat will be more durable, right?"
"alright. So it's been decided we'll roast it. So no one else asks about the pork stew with onion sauce."
"Then the baby's blood will be cooked in what way?" ask mehru.
"Mother will make it a sauce as a complement to her grilled meat."
"That sounds delicious" Kheiren said.
"You helped me make the coals. Let mom and Baba clean up the pig shit" Kuolo said.
"Good Ba."Answer Mehru.
Mehru and Kheiren stacked some dry wood as big as an arm and some dried tree branches. The two girls made a fire to roast the Pig they had just obtained from hunting.
While waiting for the embers to burn, Mehru put various types of medicinal plants that he got from the forest, into a container made of woven bamboo.
Mehru put the slap on the roof of his house, then went back to making a stove for roasted pigs.
Mehru put two wooden sticks branching on the left and right side of the embers.
"It looks like this wood will not be able to withstand the weight of the pig Mehru,"
Mehru seemed to think and justify kheiren's speech.
"Then we have to enlarge the wooden pole. Find a bigger, sturdier one."
"Emm."
Kheiren and Mehru went behind their house to find branches of trees that branched with a sizeable size. After getting it, they re-attach it to serve as a buffer for pigs when they are going to be roasted.
They only eat roasted pork after roasting it with a long process, until the sun almost sets. But it was comparable to the fatigue they had, when eating that delicious meat.
