Nigel was shocked to hear Mr Bridget saying Diana was dead. There was clearly no joke in his face and tone of voice. The words sounded serious and spontaneous.

The young man's heart was beating fast. "Sorry Mr. Bridget, don't joke. Where did you know that?"

Mr. Bridget sucked the tobacco smoke out of the shell and exhaled it. Clumps of smoke gushed out and immediately entered into a small hole in the ceiling. "He hasn't shown his nose for the past three days and no one knows where he's going, not even his own mother knows."

"You think Diana was dead because she disappeared for three days?"

"Is there any reason for him to disappear for three days?"

"You're blinding me in shock. I'll find out for myself later."

"Good." Mr. Bridget re-sucked the nicotine. "Then, did you come here just looking for that woman?"

"Oh, right too. Do you have a map to the Zebrulgard Ruins?"

"Why are you looking for that map? Are you going there? Why do you want to go to such a cursed place? What's up there?"

Nigel's ears didn't catch the barrage of questions Mr Bridget had just asked. However, there was one word that interested him.

"Cursed?" Nigel looked astonished. Supposedly, gift the science that he can definitely explain about the place. However, the gift did not reveal any information. Maybe this gift does not fully tell the general data.

"Yes, as you think." Mr. Bridget brought her wide face closer to the young man in front of her. It looks scary now. "In the night, you will not see a single speck of light there. You can't even light the slightest fire. Darkness rules the ruins. The damned place of the damned."

Mr. Bridget tried to scare her however, unfortunately Nigel did not show any anxiety.

The old man looked annoyed that his joke was not working. He immediately took a roll of paper in a cupboard not far from him and gave it to Nigel. "I don't have a special map. I'll just give you a map of our country. There is a clear path to the ruins of Zebrulgard and all the places in this country."

Nigel accepted it and directly stretched it. The square-tapped map pointed to all the places in his country.

"I didn't expect our country to be this small" Nigel said. His eyes trace his city – Ertonburg City – to Zebrulgard Ruins.

"The price is ten pieces of silver" said Mr. Widget.

"What! It was too expensive for the price of a roll of paper." Nigel.

"You're right too. It cost fifteen silver coins." Now the old man raised the price.

"Alright, ten pieces of silver." Nigel took his silver and paid the map for the price.

Mr. Bridget received the money with a sour face. While Nigel kept his map behind his shirt.

Nigel immediately left Mr. Bridget, he came out of the magic equipment store that looks crowded. This time, he planned to go to Diana's house, he wanted to meet an old woman who hoped to become his future father-in-law.

He walked casually across the sidewalk, passing through several shops offering a wide variety of goods. He also passed through a jewelry store. There were countless diamonds and gems that collaborated with gold and silver to form necklaces and bracelets, whose prices had definitely exceeded the numbers inside his bag. Nigel didn't care, he kept his feet up.

It looks like a fashion store. In the shop, a dress was displayed behind thick glass. Green super fancy dress. There is a lot of lace on the dress that makes it so elegant. Nigel was sure, only the nobles wore such dresses. Just like before, he only looked and did not care too much.

The young man continued walking and turned left, out of the main road. The path he was walking on was now much smaller, perhaps only able to pass through one horse carriage. Up and winding.

Nigel. On top of the hill, Nigel could see an old house with vines growing on the walls of the house. Jutting backwards right next to a big, lush tree. It was Diana's home that was her goal. Yet it was still several tens of meters away from where it stood now.

As he looked back to the front, a bar was the building before him right now. Nigel didn't mind the drunken spot, but he was more interested in the two men in front of the bar. Nigel recognized one of them. How not, the man is his love rival. Diana's current boyfriend. And apparently, the man also recognized Nigel. It was clear from the look in his eyes when their two eyes met.

Nigel deflected his steps and approached the man. "Martin Dostal?"

"Yes. And you must be Nigel" said the man.

Martin's male friend left the two young men, he went inside the bar.

Nigel now knew why all the women were crazy about him. His looks were clearly visible at this close distance.

His golden hair was brilliantly scattered in the sunlight. The skin on his face is smooth, there are not even brown spots there. Similarly to his eyes, the golden iris of the eye looks like a sparkling topaz gem. Currently, he was wearing a plain white linen shirt with a red vest. The suit definitely adds to his charm. Nigel was inferior because Martin's good looks were far above him. But that doesn't mean he'll give up.

"If not, he's with me now." Martin's face looked a little irritated. "That bastard woman just left me and her mother. I'm sure, he must be going with a rich man by now."

Nigel was a bit annoyed by Martin's words just now. The charges appear to depict Diana as a prostitute who chose money out of self-esteem. Although Diana loves money, but Nigel believes that the woman of his clan is not including women as low as that.

"That's it," continued Martin. "Don't say the woman's name again. I'm sick of hearing it."

Martin leaves Nigel and walks into the bar, following his friend.

Nigel was silent for a moment. He had time to think, if Diana was like that, or there were other reasons that made him have to leave.

The young man dismissed the bad thoughts in his head and then walked back, continuing his steps towards Diana's house which had been delayed.

A few minutes later, the field overgrown with green grass on the hill welcomed Nigel's arrival. He immediately crossed the small savanna and approached the only old house there.

Nigel started knocking on the door.

The voice of the old woman came from inside. And a few moments, the door opened. A fat and somewhat stooped middle-aged woman stood in the doorway.

"Nigels?" A hoarse voice came out from the old woman's mouth.

"Good day, Mrs Pelester. I heard Diana disappeared, can I talk to you about that?"

"Please, comein!" Madam Polyester opened the door rather wide, taking Nigel into her house.

Nigel saw a beautiful but familiar woman. He sat on the sofa in the living room of the old house.

"That's what Nigel is all about, Anna wants to tell me something about it, too" added Mrs Polyester.

The young man sat on the sofa opposite Anna.

Mrs Pelester did not sit down immediately, she walked more and more into the house. He's headed to the kitchen and he's gonna make Nigel a cup of tea.

"What are you doing here, Nigel?" anna whispered.

"I want to find my beloved woman, and I start from where if not from here" replied Nigel who also whispered.

"I want to talk to Mrs Polyester about something, important. And I don't want anyone else to hear it." Anna was quite serious in her speech, though it was still whispering.

"It's okay, Anna." Madam Polyester suddenly appeared with a cup of warm tea on her handle. "Let her hear it too."

Madame Polyester sat on a single sofa facing Nigel and Anna after she placed the warm tea on the table.

"All right." Anna fixed her sitting position facing Madame Polyester. "Before Diana disappeared, I saw her go with Martin Dustal. They're headed for the woods west of town. And there, I saw Mertin back, but not Diana."

"Do you want to say that Martin has something to do with Diana's disappearance?" tanya Nigel confirmed.

"Yes." Yeah." Anna nodded steadily.

"Before coming here, I met Martin at the bar. He said if it's possible Diana went with a rich man."

"Omong empty!" exclaim Mrs Polyester. This made Anna and Nigel shocked.

"That's right" said Anna. "Mertin Dustal is the most cunning man I've ever met in my life, Nigel. It's more likely that the tree will walk than Martin will tell the truth." Nigel was able to catch the growl from Anna's tone.

Nigel sipped the tea that was served until it ran out, then moved from the sofa. "It seems I know what I should do," he said.

"Nigel, what are you gonna do?" saute Anna.

The young man immediately stepped towards the door of the house. "Your homemade tea is very delicious, Mistress Polyester. Thank you." Thank you." And he went out of the house of his heart.
