10: Reunion and Dinner

Decorating her face with thin makeup Sahara since earlier seemed busy getting ready to go to her school reunion and soon Anjani will also come with Arjuna to pick her up even though she has said can go alone. Currently Sahara is almost ready with a pink knee-length dress and hair that is paled with a hairpin that adorns her head and bags and shoes that are in line with her clothes.

After applying her favorite lipstick Sahara stared at her reflection in the mirror while smiling with satisfaction, perfect now she is ready to go. Moments after she was ready Fahisa went into her room and told her that Anjani was waiting downstairs.

"Mommy's pretty yet?" Sahara asked as she approached Fahisa with a big smile

Smiling meaningfully Fahisa gently rubbed his son's black hair feeling so happy to see the grown Sahara.

"Mommy's son is always pretty." The word Fahisa makes the Sahara smile even more fluffy

"Will Ara leave?" Sahara

"Hm be careful when you ask for a pick-up, right?" Said Fahisa who felt bad because Arjuna kept coming to take Sahara

Nodding understanding Sahara stepped out to approach Anjani who did not get out of his car and when he entered into his friend was immediately smiling happily.

"Moor"

Hugging each other looks so happy because they can meet after the last few weeks they are both busy with their respective jobs. In front of Arjuna smiled happily when he saw Sahara who looks so beautiful tonight makes his heart so pounding quickly.

"Have you? We're leaving now, aren't we?" Arjuna said making the two let go of the hug then gave a short nod

When he turned his gaze towards Arjuna who was driving the Sahara, he realized that the man was wearing a suit that was very neat.

"Tonight Big Brother was so neat, did Big Brother want to leave too?" Ask Sahara curiously

Silently for a moment Arjuna seemed hesitant to say that he was going to see his Papi co-worker, so all Arjuna did was nod briefly and give him the answer that he thought made the most sense.

"Deploy Ra on work." Arjuna said, making Sahara nod her head and then asked Anjani to speak again

Along the way the two chatted while occasionally laughing about their gray white period. After traveling for almost twenty minutes they finally arrived at one of the luxury restaurants where the event was held.

But, before he could leave Anjani who understood to go out first and let his sister talk to Sahara in the car.

"Bec"

"Yes?"

"Don't go near Kevin?" Arjuna said as he looked into the eyes of the Sahara so deeply

After being silent for some time Sahara nodded obediently then said that she would leave now.

"I'm going there, brother? Brother be careful on the road." Sahara

Approaching Anjani who was waiting for him they went inside while occasionally talking. When entering the two are greeted with a frenzy by their friends because during the Sahara High School and Anjani were quite popular students.

There were still some people who had yet to come, but the event had already started and many people were chatting with each other as well. It was like going back to the old days even though they were not wearing school uniforms and their faces had changed a little, but gathering like this made Sahara happy.

It was just that behind it all he felt afraid of one thing.

What if he meets Kevin?

"Saharan"

The call from a voice he knew so well was heard in his ear, Sahara knew where this voice came from because it used to be the voice he liked the most and he missed.

True, when he turned his body Sahara could see the man so clearly when only a few seconds ago she thought about him and now the man was standing not far from his place waving his hand.

Kevin

The man looked handsome with a suit stelan on his body, but Sahara did not feel any vibration and when the man walked over the Sahara felt strange he wanted to leave.

He didn't want to see Kevin.

But, it was too late because the man had already stood before him and pulled the Sahara into a warm embrace that made the people there cheer when they saw him.

"Ra I miss you so much." Kevin said as he hugged Sahara tightly

Holding her breath Sahara felt her heart pounding quickly, but she did not like being in Kevin's arms and from then on her hands just kept silent not wanting to return the hug at all.

"You how are you? I'm sorry I never told you when I was in Holland." Said Kevin

Still not giving a response Sahara even spread her eyes around and found her friends who looked at them, but when her eyes met with Anjani's property she became afraid.

What if Anjani told Arjuna?

What if Arjuna misunderstood and stayed away from him?

"I'm good." Said Sahara while distancing herself making Kevin slightly flinched

"Still angry that Kevin lo anyway linggalinya over time do not tell me anymore." Cockfearrel his best friend

The man's little laugh came back saying something that made people cry out, but instead made the Sahara uncomfortable.

"But my heart is for him." Kevin said as he looked towards the Sahara

The look in his eyes was still the same as it used to be that Sahara could feel and when Kevin walked over and clasped his hand Sahara just kept silent while staring at their hands.

"We talk to Ra for a minute? Are you angry with me?" Kevin said that Sahara was silent

"Later this is still a time event to be left behind." Sahara said while letting go of her hand

"Okay, if it ends the show, huh? I'll take you home." Said Kevin who inexplicably answered with a nod by him

As he was about to go to Anjani once again the man held him back making Sahara look at him lazily.

Shaking his head slowly the Sahara again let go of the hand that held it.

"I want to be with Jani." Sahara

After saying that Sahara immediately left Kevin and rushed to Anjani who was chatting with one of their friends.

Seeing that Kevin smiled cynically, he knew that until now Arjuna was still his enemy in terms of owning the Sahara.

"Cie's seen Ra's ex?" Ledek Frida's a classmate

Frustrated Sahara looked at the woman lazily, what ex they had had nothing to do with.

"Please ihh!" Sahara was upset

"He likes my brother Da." Anjani said with a small laugh

Frida reflexively looks at Sahara in disbelief when she thinks her best friend will continue to like Kevin until now, but it turns out the estimate is wrong.

"Seriously Ra? The same as Juna? Whoa crazy he's so handsome anyway." The word Frida made Sahara look at him dislikefully

Seeing that Anjani sighed in relief at least he knew that Sahara loved her brother and that means Arjuna's decision to refuse an arranged marriage will not be in vain because his feelings are reciprocated. However, Anjani is also afraid that his best friend is back in love with Kevin because he has heard that first love is difficult to forget.

Anjani also knows that Kevin is a person who will do anything to get what he wants.

Attending a dinner with Abian's co-workers turned out to be the wrong decision because there they only talked about the issue of stocks and shares and then once changed even discussed the issue of arranged marriage. In front of Arjuna there was a woman Vania who was the same age as him she was beautiful, but Arjuna was not interested at all even until now her mind was only filled with Sahara.

In contrast to Vania who looks enthusiastic Arjuna did not enjoy this dinner at all and wanted to leave immediately. Since then he had not spoken at all except being asked and the food in front of him was also just him eating potluck.

"Juna you don't look excited, why?" Tanya Devandra Papi's coworker

Little smile Arjuna just shook his head slowly then asked for permission to go to the bathroom.

"I'll go to the bathroom first." Arjuna said as he moved his feet away

Looking at Arjuna who was stepping away Vania smiled slightly, it seemed like she needed to talk to the man because it was true her Papa Arjuna said looking uninspired.

"Sorry, Juna is probably doing a lot of work." Abian

"No papa Yan I understand." Devandra

About five minutes Arjuna had already returned from the bathroom and was sitting himself still with the same expression, he wanted to leave.

"Maybe you and Vania can chat." Devandra

Nodding briefly Arjuna followed the footsteps of Vania who walked out and sat herself on one of the benches. Silence enveloped the two for quite a long time until Arjuna finally began to speak.

"Do you agree with that fight? I'm not." Arjuna said without further ado made the woman before him quite surprised when she heard him

"Why?" Ask Vania

"I love someone and I don't want to make anyone hurt by accepting this match." Arjuna said without any hesitation

"But Om Abian wants you to marry me." Vania said while looking at Arjuna who kept looking straight ahead

"I'll talk to Papi and you just need to talk to Om Devandra that this matchmaking can't continue." Arjuna

"Why should I do it?" Ask Vania

"I told you I don't want to hurt anyone else because even if we get married later I won't be able to love you and that marriage will hurt a lot of people." Arjuna said as he turned his head and looked at Vania expressionlessly

"If I don't want to?" The word Vania made Arjuna sigh slowly

"Then I'm the only one who'll talk to Papi and stop this matchmaking." Arjuna said firmly

"Your words are hurting me now." Vania

Sighing her long breath Arjuna looked at Vania deeply then said the thing that stunned her.

"That match will hurt you even more"

"Why not try it first? Maybe you'll like me later." Vania said after a long moment of silence

Thinly smiling Arjuna hated that word because to him there was no word of trying.

"It's not supposed to be that a man does that Vania maybe someone else can, but if I don't because when I love someone then I will continue to love him." Arjuna's words made the woman before him gaze with admiration

"But feelings can change over time." Said Vania again

"It never changes if you don't want it to change"

"That woman is so lucky to be liked by a man like you." Vania

Smiling sweetly Arjuna immediately imagined the face of Sahara now and suddenly he so missed her.

Not Sahara, but Arjuna who feels lucky to love a woman like her.

"Later I'll talk to Papa"
