A week has passed since the incident Ratna drugged Arang. Edgar's back, he's taking Arang to dinner.
"Where?" tanya Arang excited.
"Of course on the balcony." replied Edgar happily.
"Aunt Jim's already prepared it."
Charcoal's smile disappears, he thinks Edgar will take him out to eat.
"You don't like it?I'm sorry Arang... "
"It's not. I'm doing fine. Let's eat now." Charcoal runs ahead of Edgar. They enjoyed dinner in silence.
"I miss you.." Edgar looked at Arang's face. Instantly Arang's hand movements stopped, he put his fork back.
"Charcoal..."
"Did you say the same thing to your wife when you came home?"
Edgar looked at Arang's face.
"You angry?"
Arang stood up from his chair.
"Just curious."
"Finish your meal, Charcoal."
"Your words are always sweet, Edgar, I am full for a moment."
Edgar stood next to Arang.
"Arang, I know this is hard for us."
"You made it hard, Edgar. Why don't you let go of one of us?"
"I won't let you go, Charcoal."
"Then your wife?"
"I'll let go.."
Arang looked far into the vast sky.
"You just got home, I'm not going to talk about things that never answered."
Edgar looked at Arang's face.
"Arang, I really miss you." Edgar said slowly.
"For you I may not look good. Bind you while I already have a wife. But believe me, I am also in a difficult situation. I wouldn't have taken all these actions if I didn't love you..."
Arang looked at Edgar's face.
"Arang, please, understand.. I love you."
"I don't know what to answer..." Arang took a few steps back and prepared to leave, but Edgar pulled Arang's hand and hugged him. Arang tried to escape.
"Arang please, just for a moment. I miss you."
Edgar still hugged Arang tightly.
Charcoal just shut up. He did not return Edgar's embrace or attempt to escape. He just kept quiet and listened to Edgar.
"Arang, I beg you, if you don't believe all your past stories, can't you at least learn to love me?"
Charcoal closed his eyes. Worryingly.
"Little bit. Even if only a little bit of you give your love to me, that's enough. Please, look at me as a man in the present. Look at me from the beginning, learn to love me."
Edgar tightened his embrace, Arang seemed to think then suddenly a shadow flashed in his mind.
"Ruby, I love you..."
"I love you too..."
Arang tried to remember further.
"Leave me. I was just playing with you. Forget me!"
"How could you ask me to forget you?"
"Forget me!"
"I'm not going to let you go!"
"Forget me!!"
"Forget Me!!" Charcoal involuntarily muttered then he held his aching head.
"Forget Me!"
"Charcoal?" Edgar felt something strange, he let go of his embrace and looked at Arang who was holding back the pain in his head.
"Are you okay?"
Arang.
"I saw something...."
Edgar looked panicked.
"I'll call the doctor" Edgar pulled out his phone, and Charcoal brushed Edgar's hand over until the phone fell.
"Arang, what's wrong with you? I'll call the doctor to check on you."
Arang shook his head and tried to look at Edgar.
"No. No need. I just..."
Edgar looked at Arang suspiciously but the next second Arang hugged Edgar tightly.
"I'm just scared."
Edgar momentarily froze, then he hugged Arang back.
"Don't be afraid, I'm there for you."
Arang tightened his embrace.
From afar a pair of eyes watched the two of them.
"Ratna what are you looking at?" Willy nudged Ratna's arm and followed her.
"Ah, romantic. Welcome hug. They must miss each other. They should get married soon." commented Willy. Ratna still looked at Edgar and Arang.
"But even then they can't get married, Mr. Edgar has a wife." Willy was concerned.
**
Charcoal sat down to cross his arms. As usual, not talking, just staring at Frans, his lawyer. The young man felt Arang was observing him.
"Sorry, miss, is something wrong?"
Arang.
"none. Continue on.."
Frans is still watching Arang.
"Is Miss okay?"
Edgar laughing.
"As you can see Mr. Frans, he's fine." Edgar embraces Charcoal's shoulder.
"So, your family needs your signature on this power of attorney to sell some of the oil palm plantations in Kalimantan"
Charcoal scrunched his forehead.
"I have a palm oil plantation in Kalimantan? How many?"
"They need an injection of funds for the progress of Charcoal, one of the investors wants oil palm plantations in Kalimantan as one of the conditions."
"How much?"
"About 200 thousand hectares..."
Arang stared intently at Frans.
"How many plantations, lands or buildings in my name do I not know?"
Frans looks nervous. Edgar tried to calm Charcoal.
"Arang, you have a lot of assets that you can't possibly dispose of Frans."
Charcoal looked at Edgar.
"So who's memorizing it? My mom or you?"
Edgar stared at Arang sharply.
"Arang, this is all for Charcoal's sake. There's a problem there, and they need to solve it quickly."
"What's the problem?"
"Arang, you know that even if I explain it, you won't understand. You know that's why your family took over Charcoal while you were still in need of treatment. They don't want you to worry and feel overwhelmed."
"But now I'm worried..."
Frans looked at Edgar, asking for help.
"How many power of attorney have I signed? If they are so incompetent to run it, why not just resign?"
"Arang, you're too much!" Edgar snapped a little. Arang held his head.
"Pardon me, I didn't mean to..."
Arang stood up, "I won't sign it except on one condition."
Frans looked up.
"I'll think about it when I'm home."
"Home? this is Miss' house.." Frans reminded.
"My father's house. The house where they live. I'm tired of being here."
"No." Edgar protested. Charcoal still held his head and looked at Edgar.
"In that case, I won't sell it. Good night."

"You sure he's okay?" A man's voice was heard rising from across the phone.
Edgar ruffled his hair.
"Stop it.."
"Are you still giving him medicine..."
"You're nuts. He could die if we continue to poison his brain!"
"Has he loved you in your own way? How long will you wait for her love? If you don't make it to the time, we'll take the next step."
"I won't let you touch a single strand of her hair!" Edgar shouted furiously.
The man laughed.
"That's why we gave you a chance to touch him. But what have you been doing for these four years?!!!! You can't even get her pregnant."
Edgar clenched his hands.
"Edgar, you're with him but we're more powerful. We can't waste more time. When his memory suddenly returns, everything will start all over again."
"Remember, if she had a child with you, she would be weak. Even if his memory returns, he won't be able to run away from you. Take it easy, I will not use your child for my own sake. It's in our mutual interest."
CLICK.
Phone's closed. Edgar threw his phone in anger.
Charcoal knocked on Edgar's room door.
"Ed, it's me.."
"Come in..." Edgar answered coldly.
Charcoal went into Edgar's room and saw a cell phone strewn across the floor.
"I think I'm in the wrong time, I'll just go back." Slowly reverse.
"Stay there!!" Edgar gave the order.
Arang did not heed, he turned around and left.
"I said stay there!!!!" Edgar shouted loudly. Charcoal gasped in surprise, his hands trembling. Edgar approached the increasingly frightened Charcoal.
"Why are you making it harder?" Edgar suddenly hugged Arang from behind and cried.
"Ed, what's wrong?" Confused charcoal.
"Please, learn to love me. I really don't want you to get hurt."
Charcoal tried to digest Edgar's words.
"Edgar, don't be like this. I'm...."
Edgar flipped over Charcoal's body and shook his shoulder.
"Arang, look at my eyes. Can't you see that I'm protecting you?"
Arang doesn't want to see Edgar.
"Arang, I don't want to lose you again...." Edgar said softly
Arang. Baffled.
Any more?
I ever leave him?
Edgar looked frustrated, he looked at Arang's face and pushed him slowly.
"Go away, don't make me more confused."
"What's?I don't understand..." Confused charcoal.
"Go to your room. I'm not in a good state."
Arang looked at Edgar's face.
"You sick?"Arang asked slowly.
Edgar did not answer, he pushed Arang out of the room and closed the door tightly.
Leaving the confused Charcoal.
***
Charcoal paced back and forth in his room restlessly. He has never refused to sign a power of attorney. He had even forgotten what assets he had released because he really did not understand. But lately since he threw away the drug that Edgar gave, he felt his actions had been wrong. He needs to question where the proceeds from the sale of assets he releases, but he believes no one will be able to give him an answer. Arang pondered, he should have been able to leave alone from Edgar's life. He has money, he can go home alone. Arang shook his head again.
He often tried to leave, but he always failed. Every time he tried to leave this house, Edgar always managed to catch him. With all his power, Edgar closed all possible access that would be used Charcoal. Charcoal's cell phone contained only Edgar's phone number, his doctors, and lawyers, as well as his family.
All the Arang escape action ended in the hospital. Charcoal does not know the cause, but he is always successfully found and taken to the hospital for treatment. The last time he tried to leave, he heard Qefir, his half-brother suggested that Edgar take him to a psychiatric hospital. Arang was surprised, he knew that he was not crazy. Edgar refused, making sure Arang would not leave again.
"Non, it looks like Mr. is sick."
Ratna told Arang. Charcoal hesitantly went to Edgar's room, Edgar lying on his bed. He sleeps but deliriates. Charcoal approached and was surprised to see Edgar had a fever.
"Do we have to call the doctor?" ratna asked from the door.
"Yes, I'll call him."
Edgar pulls Charcoal's hand.
"I'm doing fine. No need to call."
Charcoal checks Edgar's forehead.
"You're not okay." Arang stood up again.
"Charcoal..."
"I didn't call the doctor, just took your shirt."
Arang asked Ratna to prepare a compress and medicine while Arang helped Edgar change his clothes that were wet with cold sweat. Both are silent.
"Drink." Charcoal prepares medicine and drinking water. Charcoal compresses Edgar's forehead and sits on the side of the bed.
"You may go" Arang spoke to Ratna. Ratna left the two in silence. Edgar looked at Arang who was just sitting still.
"Charcoal..."
"Hmmm..."
"Can you stay here tonight?"
Edgar held Charcoal's hand.
Charcoal looked at Edgar's hand.
"Rest me, I'm not going anywhere."

"So far she's been going to see Ruby and I didn't realize it. How long have they been together? What the hell are they doing?"
Karin sipped her tea. He was alone. His parents had gone home and Edgar had gone on business, and Karin knew that Edgar must have been with Ruby. He imagined the two of them were making out and it made his heart upset.
"We never loved each other, but cheating was embarrassing!"
Karin. He grew even more upset at the thought of Edgar and Ruby laughing, as if laughing at himself alone sipping tea.
Karin does not know that what actually happened was that Charcoal was guarding Edgar who had a fever. They don't talk, let alone laugh. Arang was too busy thinking about his life and Edgar condemned the decision he had taken first. Edgar fell asleep due to the influence of drugs while Charcoal eventually also fell asleep on the edge of the bed.
And Karin just all night can't sleep thinking of both.
**
Charcoal wriggled, a beam of sunlight dazzling his face. His eyes narrowed to adjust the situation then he suddenly woke up in shock.
"Good morning, baby. " Edgar stood next to Charcoal.
"You're cured?" ask Arang.
Edgar smiled.
"Thanks to you, I'm cured."
Arang watched the bed where he slept.
"Did you move me?"
Edgar nodded.
"You fell asleep, so I let you sleep next to me. Your body can hurt all if you sleep until morning on the edge of the bed."
"Ooh.." Arang immediately stood up.
"You don't mind, do you?" ask Edgar carefully.
"What objection?"
"Because I made you sleep next to me."
Charcoal walked away.
"It doesn't matter as long as nothing happens. I'm sorry I slept at your place."
Edgar pulled Charcoal's hand again.
"Thank you for taking care of me."
Arang did not answer.
"So I never did it.."
Charcoal took off his hand and walked away from Edgar speechless.
Edgar just smiled faintly.
"You haven't changed, you just don't know what's really going on. I'm sorry Charcoal."
Beeepbeep. Edgar's phone sounded.
"Callo.."
"Where haven't you been answering your phone all night?"
"I don't have to explain all my activities to you, Qef!"
The man on the phone laughed.
"You're not fooling my sister, are you?"
Edgar walked to the window, staring at the backyard and Arang who turned out to be walking around.
"If she's pregnant, what will happen next?" ask Edgar slowly.
Qefir laughed out loud.
"If you give us a precious nephew, our problems will be solved gradually. Believe me, no woman wants her child to suffer. He'll give up everything if we use his son."
Edgar laughed bitterly.
"Is that?"
Edgar was still staring at Arang who was laughing with Aunt Jim.
"Arang, I'm sorry. I have to save myself as well as you. Ah, you will definitely not forgive me..."
Edgar looked back.
