Heavy rain flushed the night sky, complete with thunder and ear-splitting thunder. A woman lies down restlessly, trying to close her eyes but failing. The woman glanced at the table clock, 01.35. He sighed then the next second screamed in shock as lightning struck and unleashed a terrifying roar.

"Where is Miss?" there was a noise in the middle room.

"Make coffee!!!!"

The woman immediately got up and left the room.

"Where's the coffeeaaa??!!!" The man's voice began to rise.

"Sorry sir, in a moment...." The housekeeper in the house ran into the kitchen nervously.

The woman who had just walked out of the room looked at the man who was standing uneasily. He signals the housekeeper to leave.

"Mana cupping...." The man almost shouted again but when he turned his head and saw who was making coffee in the kitchen instead of the home assistant, he fell silent.

"You haven't slept?" he asked when the woman placed the coffee cup on the table.

"Your voice woke me up."

The man sat down and after he finished his coffee, he clasped the hand of the woman next to him.

"I'm sorry."

The woman was silent.

"Aren't you looking for me?" tanyakanya.

The man looked at his face and smiled.

"Ah, you heard it too..."

"Are you afraid I'm going again?" ask the woman quietly without looking.

"Not so, I...."

Beeeps. Beeeps. The man's phone shook. The man walked away to talk on the phone, while the woman only looked at him who appeared to be talking seriously. Feeling that the man did not want his conversation to be heard, the woman immediately stood up carrying an empty coffee cup.

"BRENGSEEEEK!!!" the man shouted furiously on the phone. Hearing the voice of mockery, the woman jumped in shock, she dropped her cup, sat down in fear, her hands shaking.

The man immediately turned off the phone and ran over.

"Arang, are you hurt?" The man looks worried. The woman named Arang was silent but her hands were still trembling, she tried to clean up the broken cup.

"Leave it." The man forbids cleaning it, he helps Arang stand but Arang looks confused and insists on cleaning it.

"I'm fine."

"Stand up, go back to the room."

"Ed, I'm scared." The woman looks worried.

"There's nothing. What are you afraid of?"

"Let's go, I. I feel..."

"Arang, what's wrong with you? Is something going on?"

Arang did not answer, he tried to walk away but only a few steps he fell unconscious.

"Young....!!"

Edgar stood looking out the window, occasionally turning his head towards the bed. Charcoal was still asleep since the doctor called Edgar gave him the medicine.

"Arang, why does everything have to be this complicated?" Edgar spoke to himself in his heart. Slowly he approached Arang and closed his eyes, trying to imagine what happened yesterday afternoon when his mother visited this house.

When Arang fainted, the housekeepers ran around to hear Edgar's screams. Edgar knew something must have happened when Arang suddenly looked anxious. The workers at the house finally told her that. Lana comes and curses Arang. Not only that, Ms. Lana even threw a vase and hit Charcoal's leg.

Edgar justifies the blanket of Charcoal and looks at the scar that Ratna told him about.

"The lady said Miss Arang shouldn't have disturbed Mr. Edgar's life."

Edgar looked at Arang's face in silence, when Arang suddenly woke up, Edgar immediately smiled.

"You're awake?Just rest, I won't bother you." Edgar touched Charcoal's hand but Charcoal withdrew his hand.

"I know mom's coming, you must be surprised. Don't think, remember that you can't burden your mind."

"It would be better if I just died. Right, right?" Arang tried to hold back his cries.

"Why do you have to die?Don't say things that don't make sense."

"But my life doesn't make sense. Can't we just split up?" ask Arang again.

"You've said it over and over again. Alu don't want to talk about it. Rest."

Edgar did not speak anymore, he just looked at Arang and left.

While Arang closed his eyes back and then remembered the arrival of Ny. Lana.

"Mom's coming again?" Charcoal was scrambled out of the room when he heard Mrs's voice. Lana screams her name. This is the second time Mrs Lana has visited Arang's residence this week. Ms. Lana finally found out that her son had been hiding Charcoal for years.

At the first meeting Mrs Arang confirmed to Arang that Charcoal should not stay for life attached to Edgar. He shouted that Edgar should have lived happily without Charcoal. Arang knew Mrs Lana was drunk, so even though all the words of the old woman hurt her heart and self-esteem, she just kept quiet.

But this second time Ms. Lana not only hurt mentally, she even physically injured Arang.

"Why didn't you just die? Why did you stay alive and become a ghost to Edgar?"

"If I had known what happened in the past, I might have found the answer, Mom."

"You're always hiding behind your amnesia. Even if you don't remember anything else, you don't have anyone else in the world, you shouldn't stick to my son after what you did to him!"

"I? What exactly did I do to Edgar?" Arang asked back.

Mrs. Lana glared, her anger mounting.

"What?!! You're asking what have you done???" Ms. Lana approached Arang and pushed him against the wall hard.

"I've always wanted to see the real contents of your head. I wonder, why is it so easy that you forget all your deeds??!"

Ms. Lana screamed and deliberately banged Charcoal's head against the wall.

"Mom, don't be like this. Sakiiit..." Charcoal revolt.

"I really don't know what happened in the past. If you do know, you better tell me everything to be clear. I really want to remember everything."

Mrs Lana's getting angry.

"Even if your memory doesn't return, don't you know that being a mistress of a married man is a lowly and shameful act??? how long have you been doing this? is 4 years not enough to make your mistake known???"

Charcoal rebelled, he managed to break free and fell on the floor.

Ms. Lana looked at Arang furiously and then threw a vase towards Arang.

Both screamed to shock the entire house.

"Mother!!! How many times have I told you, don't disturb Charcoal!" Edgar yelled on the phone.

"Mom can't take it anymore. Why didn't his family just kill him?"

"Mom, please, don't say that again. "

Edgar let out a gasp of annoyance.

"Don't we all know, right now Arang must stay alive. I don't bother Arang anymore and mess things up."

"But what about Karin? If he finds out you hid a woman during your marriage..."

"I'll take care of Karin."

Edgar hung up his phone, he turned his head and was surprised to see Arang standing at the door.

"When did you come?" edgar asked worriedly, he was worried that Arang heard the conversation.

Charcoal stand sculpting.

"What's wrong with Karin?" Arang asked back.

"Nothing. Don't fret. Get back to bed rest."

"Don't worry..." Charcoal repeated Edgar's words and walked closer to Edgar.

"For four years you've always said that. But I can't really be anxious."

"Arang, I'm sorry. I'll try better to keep you from worrying. I promise to make you happy, I won't break my promise..." Edgar approached and hugged Arang.

"Do you think a woman would be happy to be a mistress for years?"

"Arang don't say that. You're not a mistress.."

"Am I a lowly woman?" Charcoal is getting frustrated.

"It's not like that. You're not a lowly woman. I've said many times, we're going through a lot of things we shouldn't. You're.."

"Can't you tell me everything honestly this time?" Charcoal started crying.

"I said honesty. We love each other. I'll take care of you all my life."

Arang could not say anything more. He knew that whenever he asked, Edgar would always give the same answer. Charcoal has memorized a series of events that resulted in him ending up in a hidden relationship with Edgar.

Edgar was Arang's fiancee before Edgar married Karin. Charcoal had an accident and was in a coma for 6 months. The Edgar family broke off the engagement and married Edgar to Karin. Three months after their marriage, Arang wakes up from a coma. Unfortunately Arang can not remember all the events before he woke up. All he knew was that he was in a daze, he didn't remember anything even who he really was. His family took Arang out of the country for treatment. Nobody's guarding Arang. A month in the care, Arang's memory did not return. After that Edgar came to bring Charcoal. Edgar is introduced as Arang's fiancee who will look after him. At that time Arang did not know that Edgar was married. When he finally finds out that Edgar is married, Arang tries to break up their relationship. Arang does not want to get involved in the wrong relationship.

"Go back to your life. I'm fine even if we're apart." Said Arang at that time. Edgar remained silent. He knew Arang would be able to live even without him, but he needed Arang. Edgar insisted on continuing with Arang, even the Arang family also continued to say the same thing. Charcoal must be with Edgar, because Edgar will be divorced from Karin. At first Arang continued to refuse because although he did not remember his past, he did not have any taste for Edgar. Charcoal doubted that there was once an Edgar in his heart. However, various events continue to haunt Arang who has not completely recovered. Charcoal repeatedly almost wretched and Edgar always helped him. Charcoal also suffers from anxiety disorders and slowly Charcoal becomes dependent on Edgar. It all happened because the Arang family did not let Arang go far from their reach except when with Edgar. They take full care of Arang even though Arang feels they are actually imprisoning Arang. Arang wants to know what really happened in his past because he doubts whatever his family says, but he can't remember at all. Every day Arang felt something was wrong with him and his health. But as time went on, Charcoal became accustomed. Accustomed to accepting his past stories. Accustomed to living his life according to the scenario that his family said that he was Arang Ruby Sanjaya. The daughter of Martin Sanjaya, owner of Charcoal Jaya Group. He was 24 years old when he had an accident that resulted in his amnesia and his father died. Arang has a stepmother with one older brother as well as one younger sister. They lived fine until the accident happened and her stepmother, Millan, eventually led the company in her father's place. Arang just resignedly accepted all the explanations, including his father's message that Arang should be with Edgar. Arang even accepted the fact that he ended up only being the woman that Edgar hid because for 4 years running, Edgar did not divorce Karin. Edgar always said that Arang was innocent, he was just waiting for the right time to marry Arang. They just hide the truth from people. Arang did not argue anymore even though there were many questions in his heart that were contrary to what he did.

Is Arang really a woman who accepts relationships to be a mistress of married men?

Did Karin really not know that her husband had been hiding Charcoal all this time?

Charcoal wiped away her tears, she was already tired of living a life she did not understand.

"He is Ruby!!" A woman screamed in anger, she looked at the photograph in her hand.

"The name is Charcoal, Miss Karin." The woman in front of him corrected.

Karin threw the photo in wrath. Can't bear to see Edgar's affection for Charcoal in front of a house.

"I know him.." Karin said slowly, trying to contain her anger. The woman in front of him was surprised, not expecting that Karin knew the woman who had been her husband's affair. Martha is Karin's personal assistant, she is used to doing Karin's secret work, including stalking Edgar when Karin begins to suspect that her husband is having an affair.

"I didn't expect, out of all the women I suspected, she was with Ruby!" Karin was fed up, Martha just kept quiet.

"But why hasn't he been out all this time?"

"He's out, Mom. We saw him out of the house a few times."

Karin sighed, "That's not what I meant. But why didn't he show himself in Charcoal? Why did he leave everything to her. Millan's? Is he still sick?"

"We haven't been able to confirm the matter."

"Arang Ruby Sanjaya is not a fool. What is he planning?"

Karin was suddenly curious. Martha looked at her superior in confusion, she felt Karin's focus change.

Karin looked out the window.

"Why do you call him Arang?" Karin asked.

"We heard he introduced himself as Arang, then Mr. Edgar also called him Arang."

Karin grunted in annoyance.

"Is that their current favorite calling?"

Martha looked at Karin in wonder.

"Aren't you wondering how they're cheating?"

Karin looked back at Martha and laughed.

"I never thought that what ruined my marriage was Ruby. The person I thought couldn't wake up anymore. I'm surprised he's still walking and looking normal, considering he's been in a severe accident and in a coma for six months."

Martha was still looking at Karin who was staring back out the window.

"But I don't have to wonder why my husband could have an affair with his ex-fiancee."

Martha closed her lips with a mouth, slightly surprised. Karin scrunched her forehead.

"But this is not true, there must be something that is not true."

BRAKKS.

Karin suddenly stood up and kicked down the table. Martha jumped in shock.

"I want to see my mother-in-law. I wonder if he's going to hide his future son-in-law first?"

Martha just nodded, not understanding the contents of her superior heart. He follows Karin while taking a photo of evidence of the affair that Karin threw.

Arang Ruby Sanjaya's. Charcoal Jaya Group's.

Why would the daughter of a conglomerate want to be the mistress of a married man who is about to go bankrupt?

Martha nodded again. Doesn't the world like to joke?
