“Jax.” The raspy voice of the brash man patting Brie's butt suddenly broke the silence between the two. “Lucky you came to save me, man. This girl is crazy!”

“You're a fool, Otto.” Jax rebuked him and immediately grabbed the collar of the unbuttoned shirt Otto was wearing. “Come, you must apologize immediately.”

“But, man!”

“Or I'll choke your neck.” Jax said kalem. 

“Sorry.” Otto apologized half-heartedly as he stepped inside the minimarket and did not wait for Brie's response.

Brie seems unconcerned about Otto's apology or the whereabouts of the two men before her. He tidied up the groceries scattered on the ground. Jax squatted down and already helped him. 

“Thank you.” Jax said and both stood up.

“For?” Brie finally opened her voice in surprise.

“Do not kill little bastards here. Hey, I'm sorry for whatever brazen thing he's done.”

“What's your name?”

Brie smiled and walked away from the man. “Next time, Jax. If we are paired.”

Hey, Brie! Your head is stupid or what? How you refused to meet a handsome guy like Jax. Half of Brie's head protested at her stupidity, but half defended the girl. You did the right thing, Brie. Mentioning names to strangers is the first rule that Dad forbids because it can make you miserable.

Argha! How does he remember some of Dad's rules? Though, he went all the way to Vivian's hometown to escape from Father and his overprotective attitude!

Brie opened the car door and gestured to Vivian who was still busy chatting. He checked his phone which was still adem ayem and there was no sign of his father's panic.

Don't you realize I've tricked some of his guards and run away with Vivian? Brie was again busy with her thoughts.

“I’m coming home, yeay!” Vivian was ready behind the steering wheel and started the car. “By the way, why have you been in the minimarket for so long? Is there anything interesting I missed?”

Brie twirled the eyeballs. “You might see it if you're not too busy with the handsome cop, Viv!” and I'm also busy with a guy named Jax. Brie said, is it possible that I will meet him again?***
