The second trial has ended after the judge decided to suspend him until next week to hear testimony from expert witnesses that will be presented by the public prosecutor because the judge felt the need to do so seeing the development of the case it happened at the trial, especially about the possibility of a new suspect.

For prosecutor Jerold himself, the trial was hell. The new facts presented by the defendant were shocking to him and indirectly cornered him. Moreover, he was unable to give a good response.

News from various media are also very sharp to highlight the performance of the apparatus related to this case, not spared the prosecutor's place of residence. Even some of the comments of the netizens blatantly accused him of participating in a malicious conspiracy because it had presented two witnesses who had given false statements.

Prosecutor Jerold had actually been trained not to respond to such things. He has something more terrifying than that. One word of disappointment issued by Mr. Jireh is sharper than millions of negative comments from the public. And he was very aware that the man was already very disappointed with his performance at the trial.

The opposite condition is experienced by Indira. He still celebrated his success at the conference. His image as a lawyer who had been ugly, slowly began to improve along with the news about the second trial of Abhimanyu Alexander. He received much praise from some public figures and many netizens.

“Great is also my beautiful sister,”, said Mbak Ratih who was visiting Indira.

“I also did not expect it at all,” said Indira, low to rise.

“But you have to stay alert. Mbak is still convinced that what you are fighting is a bad person who is very likely to harm you.”

“Tan easy, Ma'am. If I serve outside, I am always accompanied by Rama, his brother Abi. He is quite good at martial arts, although his posture is less convincing.”

“Really? Abi told you to? Wow, it turns out your client is very attentive to you, yes.” Indira blushed embarrassed to hear the words of Mbak Ratih, making the brother a bit confused. “Why are you shy like that? I'm praising your client, not you.”

Indira was aware of her brother's words. Right, why should he be embarrassed?

“Sister! Rama is coming! Trouble is coming too!”

Suddenly Rama's screams were accompanied by the sound of the door opening. He walked into Indira's office with his right hand holding a large burger and his left hand with a large glass of fizzy cold drink. Indira and Mbak Ratih looked straight at him.

“Lho, there's someone else.”

“Long life. We were just talking about you. Introduce, this is mbakku.,” said Indira. Then he looked towards Ratih. “This is Rama's.”

Rama put his hand to introduce himself. “Waduh, if you know Brother Mbak coming, Rama will buy 3 servings.”

“Hey, you don't know what mbak is?” indira said in an annoyed tone.

Ratih welcomed greetings from Rama while scanning him from the tip of the foot to the tip of the head. As Indira said, it is not convincing for someone who is said to be good at martial arts.

“No need, Mbak is on a diet,” refuse mbak Train gently.

“Lho, same. Rama is also on a diet program.”

Hearing the statement, Indira and Ratih looked at Rama's innocent face at the same time, then moved to the food and drink he held.

“You sure you're dieting? Then, what's in your hand now?” ask Indira.

“Oh, this is not food, but a snack,” Rama said plainly. “Ah, how heavy this diet is. I've not seen rice for 3 days.”

Indira pity to see her brother who is still gawking at Rama's words. It seems like the older brother is not used to dealing with people like Rama.

“So, you think eating it is eating rice and besides it is just a snack?” tanya mbak Ratih answered Rama with a nod. Then he stared at Indira while whispering, “Is he this stupid?”

“So, what are you doing here?”

“Si Roy came to see bang Abi,” replied Rama.

“Roy? Roy who?” ask Indira.

“You mean, the kid who slandered Abi has hit him? Why is he there?”

“Entah. Looks like he wants to intimidate bang Abi because of the trial yesterday.”

Indira raised next to her eyebrows a sign that she was increasingly confused by Rama's words. “What does that person have to do with the trial yesterday?”

Rama was silent for a moment. He realized that he had missed an important story that should have been the key to all his words just now. “The long name of the baj*ngan is Leroy Jerold, and he is the public prosecutor of the case bang Abi.”

Abi gets another visit from his past. Like just yesterday when he was visited by Police Brigadier Reynold, the man who tortured him a dozen years ago. Now he must see the man's visit.

“Halo, old friend,” greet a man wearing an all-black suit and pants, in tune with glasses attached to the trunk of his nose. It had been fifteen minutes he had waited in that special visiting room.

“Roy.” That was all Abi said in response to the greeting given by the man who claimed to be his old friend.

“Come on, can't you relax?”

“How can I relax seeing a prosecutor foolishly come to the accused. You don't know if it violates the prosecutor's code of conduct? Or do you have no ethics at all?”

The man named Roy knew he was being provoked. He tried to ignore Abi's words earlier and signaled to the officer who drove Abi to leave them.

“Sorry, Sir. I can't go. Some time ago prisoners attacked his visitors. So, I don't -”

“I've spoken to the rutan head. If you object, convey your objections to him,” cut Roy who immediately makes the warden speechless and out of the room.

“You did want me to hit you, didn't you? So, you can whine and slander me. Yes, humans are difficult to get rid of their jerk habits.”

Roy stared intently at Abi who had just mocked him. He wanted to feel angry, but that was not his initial strategy. He could only sit with a smile as if he wanted to immediately reply to Abi's ridicule.

“You are indeed grumpy as always,” Roy said.

“You are a jerk as always,” reply Abi.

Although initially wanting to make angry, Roy realized that at this time he was the one who began to be lured to anger. He took a breath and threw it away slowly.

“My arrival is here just to make sure of something.”

“About what?” Abi leaned his head towards Roy. “About why are you still stupid even though the prosecutor has so humiliated in court by the accused dropout and bumbling lawyer?”

Roy kicked the table with his left palm. He could not contain his anger if he remembered what happened in the court. However, seeing the smile on Abi's face, he began to regain consciousness and ease his anger.

“We get to the point. Didn't you kill Reynold?”

Now Abi is staring at Roy. As before, he threw a smile at Roy. This time it was more intimate. Roy knew that his high school classmate would not answer his question correctly.

“Wah, wow, wow. As a prosecutor, of course you know article 311 paragraph 1 KUHP, right?”

“Anyone who commits a crime of blasphemy or scorn with writing, in which case he is allowed to prove his accusation, if he cannot prove it and if the accusation he made is being known to him is not true, convicted of falsely defaming with a prison law of four years,” said the prosecutor.

“Good if you memorize it. At least it can cover up your stupidity.”

“Unfortunately, I have the proof.”
