An awkward feeling enveloped them as Reuben left the two in a room. That awkward feeling arises because of a feeling that once existed in the heart. Dion, fed up with this unpleasant condition, finally tried to break the silence by asking a question that seemed just an ordinary trite.

I will never disturb your household with Ruben, which I wish we could be as intimate as we used to be when you and I were friends, honestly I can't live without you by my side but for your happiness I'm willing to live alone as long as you're still willing to be my best friend" he explained
