Couvade Syndromes

"Why don't you sleep anymore?" Reiz asked, he sat on the sofa of the room.

"I'm not sleepy."

"Come here." Pinta Reiz's. Rin walked over to her husband and sat down next to him.

"Sit here." Reiz patted his thigh, asking his wife to sit on his lap, Rin said.

"Boat me." Pinta Reiz was spoiled while handing over the chocolate she had brought to Rin.

"Why has my husband been so spoiled lately?" Rin asked while opening the chocolate pack.

"Why indeed? I'm spoiled for my own wife, not for someone else's wife." Reiz answered while taking a chocolate bribe from his wife.

"Beware if you dare to be spoiled by other women." Rin's eyes looked threatening.

"Close to other women I've never, much less adored." Reiz grabs Rin's hand, which appears to be the brown remains attached. In the kiss of that finger.

"How do I bribe you if my hands are like this?" Rin protests, while Reiz seems unconcerned he is still busy with his wife's fingers.

"Stop Reiz..." Rin tried to pull his hand.

Reiz smiled slantingly, he pulled the body of the wife until both of them fell on the sofa.

Rin opened her eyes, it seemed like it was morning. Rin looked around, then remembered she had fallen asleep on the couch last night after Reiz had asked her to make love there.

Rin got up from her sleep, putting on her clothes on the floor.

"Where's Reiz?" Mumbled. Rin stepped into the bathroom. It is not the bathroom door that looks partially open.

"Yyyz!"  Surprised Pekik Rin sees her husband lying on the floor.

"Reiz, what's wrong with you?" At Reiz's body, the man's face looked so pale.

"Mommy! Mommy's! Mommy!" Rin shouted while running out of the room.

"Rinata, what's wrong?" Lady Tyas approached Rin. Followed Tomi and Tania behind him.

"Mommy, Reiz..." Rin answered while crying.

"Reiz why, Rin?"  Ask Tomi.

"Reiz passed out in the bathroom..."

"Fainted?" Ask them simultaneously.

Reiz blinked his eyes, the light from the lights of the room was so dazzling.

"Where is this?" He murmured while looking around. It doesn't seem to be his room.

Reiz got out of his sleep, looking at the infusion needle stuck in his wrist.

"Hospital? Why am I here?"

Reiz tried to remember what had happened to him. As he remembered, he woke up and vomited again, after that... Darkened. He doesn't remember anything anymore. Reiz massaged his head which again felt dizzy.

Clamps. The door of the room opens.

"Reiz, are you conscious?" Rin asked as soon as he entered the room.

"Rinata, why am I here?" Reiz asked back.

"So you passed out in the bathroom. So we brought you here." Rin clearly.

"Fainted?" Reiz asked, Rin nodded.

"Mr Frozen, are you conscious?" A doctor entered the room followed by Mr. Drake, Mrs Tyas, Tomi and Tania. Reiz looked coldly at the doctor.

"You okay? Is anyone sick?" Ask Lady Tyas.

"I'm fine, Mom." Reiz replied with a faint smile.

"If you're okay, you won't pass out in the bathroom." Chirp Tomi.

"You know, we were so anxious because Rinata yelled and cried because you fainted." Further.

"This would definitely be an interesting gossip material if we were still in college. A Reiz Anderson passed out in the bathroom, hahaha..." Sambar Doctor Alvin, laughing loosely. No matter the looks of the people who were there.

"Can you shut up?" Cynical Reiz.

"Hey, Mr. Frozen don't be so stiff. Indeed this would be an interesting gossip, 'A cold husband fainted from sympathetic pregnancy syndrome'." Dr. Alvin's.

While Rin just holds back the smile of hearing Doctor Alvin's call to her husband.

"Mr Frozen? It's well deserved that call for Reiz." Inner Rin.

"What did you say? What syndrome?" Reiz knitted both his eyebrows.

"Mr Frozen, your wife is pregnant. And all you're going through is couvade syndrome or sympathetic pregnancy syndrome." Obviously Doctor Alvin. Reiz widened his eyes.

"Pregnant diamonds?" Ask.

"Yes Reiz, your wife is pregnant." Madame Tyas replied with a big smile. Reiz turned his eyes to his smiling wife.

"Rin, are we gonna have another kid?"

"Yes Reiz, we'll have another child."

Rin falls into his arms. Rin's flat stomach.

"Thank you Rinata, I love you." Reiz hugged his wife back.

Doctor Alvin was stunned to see the scene in front of him.

"Well, Mr. Frozen, you've really changed." Her chirps.

Reiz was taken to the hospital by his family. And when the examination was done, Alvin's doctor did not find any sign of any disease in Reiz's body.

Until finally the doctor Alvin asked Rin, about what has been experienced Reiz lately. Rin answered what it was.

After hearing Rin's words, Doctor Alvin suspected Reiz had couvade syndrome. And suggested Rin do a pregnancy test, it turns out her guess was right. Rin is pregnant. The content is even two months old.

The atmosphere of the room suddenly became gripping after Doctor Alvin came out from there.

Mr. Mark and Mrs Tyas stared intently at Reiz. While Tomi and Tania are ready to be the audience, waiting for the scene that will soon happen.

Reiz swallowed his saliva, his two adoptive parents would definitely get angry.

"Why haven't you told us what's been going on with you lately?" Madame Tyas asked.

"I'm..." Reiz glanced at Mommy and his Daddy alternately. Tomi and Tania are seen holding back their laughter.

"You know how worried we were when Rinata said you passed out in the bathroom?" Continue Mrs Tyas.

"Mom, I'm fine. Didn't the doctor say that?" Asked Reiz who looked clear.

"Yes, you're okay now because what you're experiencing is sympathetic pregnancy syndrome. But what if the doctor said something else?" Lady Tyas asked back. While Reiz just looked down.

"Listen to Reiz, as well as Rinata, Tomi and Tania. If any of you feel sick please let Mommy and Daddy know. We don't want anything to happen to our children. Since Mommy and Daddy love you so much, do you understand?" Lady Tyas looked at the one-on-one child and her daughter-in-law.

"Yes Mom.'' Answer them simultaneously.

"Yesterday also Reiz was vomiting in the office, and I wanted to tell Mommy. But Reiz took my phone." Tomi complains with her innocent look, which instantly gets a sharp glare from Reiz.

"Is that so Reiz?" Ask Lady Tyas. Reiz simply replied with a stiff smile.
