Reincarnation as Vampire Brings Peace In Another World

Reincarnation as Vampire Brings Peace In Another World
5 ⁇ : Elf

After defeating all the knights who attacked the village, Ferisu was surrounded by elven knights who had already aimed their arrows and swords. So did the villagers, they all raised axes, pitchforks, celurits and hoes.

Ferisu turned his head slightly with such a cold gaze. "Do you want to fight against me too?" he asked with a huge killing aura.

All of the elves who were there gasped as they felt a killing aura so powerful that it made their legs tremble. "Everything, put your weapons down!" shouted an elf who looked like the leader of an army.

They're all elves. Is there a war going on here? Until these bastards invade the territory of the elves.

"Hey, is there a town nearby?" asked Ferisu to the elves.

"What are you planning to do in town?" ask the elves suspiciously.

"I just want to live quietly" replied Ferisu. "That's also if I can .. ," he murmured slowly.

The elves looked incredulous at Ferisu's words after seeing the massacre that was before their eyes. However, on the other hand they also thank Ferisu for defeating all the troops from Rigle so that there were no casualties from the villagers.

"Are you not human?" asked an elf doubtfully.

"That's how, I'm a vampire" replied Ferrisu as he sheathed his sword.

Hearing that answer all the elves seemed to be walking back slowly with frightened expressions. Ferisu felt astonished because of that, he tried asking the elves. However, no one dared to answer his question.

"Why do you look so scared after knowing I'm a vampire?"

An elf who led the troops advanced forward. "That's because the vampire race went extinct 200 years ago. Dhampirs may still be around, but pure vampires are very rare" he explained.

"I don't care about that, now answer my previous question, where is the direction of the nearest city?"

"Aren't you going to do damage there? Remember, now that you are in the territory of the elves, if you act that not-not all elves can be your enemies!" remember the leader of the elf army.

"Yes, yeah, so where's it going?" saut Ferisu seemed to be unconcerned by the elves' warning.

"Well, we'll take you there" said the leader of the army extending his hand from the horse.

Ferisu received the ride and went with the elf army towards the nearby town. A city located on the edge of the region, is a city filled with knights and adventurers. To strengthen the defense, they always educated many people to become a knight in order to maintain the security of the city.

Adventurers are a free group of people, they are not bound by anything, either state or power. You could say the adventurers were almost the same as the mercenaries. Just by giving them money, they will do anything according to what is agreed. Adventurers are usually in a guild and take quests (jobs) there.

After a long journey they finally reached the city gate. The gatekeepers greeted the returning knights warmly, without questioning the silver-haired young man who had come with them.

"Thank you for the ride" said Ferisu after getting off the horse.

"Yes, but remember what I said before. If you make a fuss and endanger this city, don't expect us to do you any good" the elf said.

Ferisu walked away and waved his hand regardless of the elf's warning. Walking around the city, most of the inhabitants were elves, although there were several other races there.

Ugh~ I've been running for quite a while but, I can't read the writing in this city.

Ferisu turned to the left and to the right, looking at a building with the inscription " ⁇ " because it smelled a fragrant scent, he walked into the shop.

The building is a bakery that sells various types of bread. The smell of freshly baked bread really makes the stomach tempted to eat it. Ferisu walked over and took out various kinds of bread and brought them to the cashier's table.

"5 silvers?" mumam Ferisu slowly.

At that time, he only realized that he did not have any money. He was pensively silent in front of the cashier table while thinking about something.

"Master customer?" said the cashier in surprise.

Ferisu gasped, "Ah, sorry. I forgot that I'm not holding money, can I pay for it with monster materials?"

The cashier shook his head. "Sorry sir, but we don't accept payment through monster materials. If it's a monster material, you can sell it in an adventurer guild or a related shop" the cashier explained.

"Hmmm~ alright, just pack those breads. I'll be back after selling the monster materials" said Ferisu walking out of the shop.

Ah, I should have asked where the location of the adventurer guild is.

Unable to read the letters in the world, Ferisu walked around and asked the people the location of the adventurer guild until he finally got there.

"So this is the city's adventurer guild?" murmured Ferisu in the guild building.

Upon entering the building the atmosphere was so different from in the city. There were countless people who looked strong, not only elves but there were also all sorts of other races. Ferisu walked towards the reception room to sell the monster materials that were inside its storage.

"Excuse me," said Ferisu.

"Yes, can I help you?"

"Can I sell monster materials here even if I haven't registered as an adventurer yet?" ask Ferisu.

"Sure, you can put the material here. We'll assess it and give it a fee" explained the receptionist.

Ferisu pulled out a blade tiger that was still intact. Everyone inside the guild was shocked to see the corpses of high-level monsters. Ferisu looked quite confused seeing the reaction from the receptionist as well as everyone in the guild.

Whahuh? Did I do something I shouldn't?

"T-Master, are you a top-tier adventurer?"

"Huh? It's not like I told you that I haven't registered as an adventurer yet" Ferrisu replied in surprise.

"W-did you beat this monster?"

"Yes, is something wrong? Is it possible that this monster is too cheap?" tanya Ferisu confirm the price.

"No, no, no, the material from this monster is very expensive!" the receptionist said loudly.

Ferisu smiled, "Then please buy."

After checking each body, the monster was killed neatly enough to not cause a bad impact on the quality of the material. The guild staff was confused as to how Ferisu killed the monster, not a single incision or magic wound on the outside of the monster.

"I defeated him by destroying his heart," said Ferisu casually seeing the guild's staff in confusion.

After finishing Ferisu got a considerable fee from the monsters he sold to the guild.
