Chapter 34: The Known Face

On an island protected by barrier magic, a white-haired man with red eyes flew over the sky with a pair of pitch-black wings.

All of the beastmen on board entered alert mode and prepared for battle.

"Hey, Shiro! look up!". Yuki's words pointed towards that figure.

"That! isn't that Ferisu-sama?!". Shouted Shiro surprised.

"What are you saying?". Ask the king in surprise.

"Dad, that flying figure is the vampire we told you about". Yuki replied seriously.

"What did you say?!!". The king said in surprise. He sat in a chair holding his head.

Outside the ship all the magicians and archers from the beastman had already directed his attack at Ferrisu. They are just waiting for the cue and all the attacks will be fired.

"Take note of you beastman troops!!!". Shouted Ferisu loudly.

All the beastmen were shocked to hear the voice and were silent for a moment. The king and his two daughters went out to the deck of the ship.

"Include my name is Furuhashi Ferisu, I am a vampire and the leader of this island!!!". Ferisu loudly introduced himself.

"I will give you 3 choices, first return to your country in peace, second you come to the island with the aim of peace and cooperation, or third we will fight until one of them is destroyed!!!". Said Ferisu loudly giving 3 choices.

The beastmen turned to their respective partners. Similarly, the king who frowned and thought hard about the choice.

"What are you guys thinking?! they are our enemies! of course we have to fight them!". Shouted one of the beastman warriors.

"That's right!". Shouted the other soldiers who agreed.

"Hey, you all stop that!". Yuki said firmly.

All the soldiers were silent and turned towards princess Yuki. "Why princess? do you want to be in a relationship with the demons? or maybe you want us all to return to the kingdom without bringing anything?". Said the soldier who shouted.

"It's not so, it's true that if we go back, we won't bring anything and just spend time and energy here. But, if we are in a friendly relationship with them it is not a bad choice. Whereas if we fight, we only have a small chance of winning". Yuki.

"What do you mean the small possibility of winning Yuki?". Ask the king in surprise.

"Did you look at those demons carefully as you look at them?". Ask Yuki.

"Hmmm?".

"The demons are almost the same as the demon lord's army, just look at those goblins. They were not ordinary goblins, but hobgoblins who had already obtained a fighting class. The king fell silent after hearing this, he never noticed it. He also thought about Ferisu's offer to reconcile or return to the kingdom.

After a long thought the king made a decision to reconcile with Ferisu and establish cooperation given the fighting strength of the demons on the island.

"Hey! I want to discuss with you, can you come down here?". The king spoke loudly.

Ferisu accepted the invitation and flew closer to the beastman king's ship. However, suddenly a magic pointed towards him so quickly.

Not just one, all the beastman soldiers shot at Ferisu with magic and arrows in succession.

"What are you guys doing?!!". Shouted Yuki.

None of the soldiers responded to the screams. The soldiers' eyes looked blank and their expressions were flat.

"A~ what happened?". Shiro muttered who realized that.

"Hey stop attacking you!!". Shouting king.

"Tchs!". Ferisu pulled out the kuro.

"Are we going to fight, sir?". Ask kuro.

"Well, it looks like it". Replied Ferisu with a cold expression.

He flew quickly to one of the beastman's ships. When they got on the ship, the beastmen on the other ships continued to bombard the attack towards Ferrisu without thinking about their companions.

"What are they doing? wait it feels like something's weird".

Ferisu also made a protector that surrounds the ship he boarded so that the attack from other ships did not hit it.

"Hey kuro, isn't their behavior strange enough?". Said Ferisu while looking at the beastman soldiers.

"Yes, sir, they seem to be under control". Answer kuro.

"It looks like we don't have to kill them if they're only in control". Ferisu.

"As usual, you're very kind, even if you kill them, they won't feel the pain you do against the bandits and the Rigle royal army". Kuro.

Without replying to Kuro's words, Ferisu immediately moved swiftly fainting the soldiers. However, they did not faint even though Ferisu had already hit their slouch.

"They didn't faint?". Ferisu.

"No sir, they fainted. But their bodies kept moving, already like puppets moved by someone". Kuro.

"Then, like her, we have to tie them together". Ferisu.

He flew up while using protective magic to resist the attacks of the soldiers.

"Magic combination of water & earth: Binding Root!". Ferisu used wood element magic.

A wooden root crept out and bound every troop on the ship. Ferisu also did it on other ships, until finally he arrived at the ship where the beastman king was.

But the soldiers on the ship were different from the soldiers on the other ships. They seem to be out of control by someone and still have consciousness.

Upon arriving at the ship the soldiers surrounded Ferisu and aimed their swords.

"Hmmm? like you guys here still have consciousness". Said Ferisu when he saw the soldiers.

"Everything carry your swords!". Shouting king.

The soldiers followed the king's orders and sheathed their swords. Ferisu also walked closer to the king while sheathing kuro.

"I'm sorry for the disrespect of my soldiers and those on other ships". King's words.

"Hmmm? what are you guys really doing here? I swear I never offended you beastmen". Said Ferisu seriously.

"This is just a misunderstanding of Ferisu-sama". Shiro.

"You guys?". Ferisu saw two familiar faces.
