Reincarnation A Gem

Reincarnation A Gem
Chapter 9: RETURN TO SCHOOL

The days went by so quickly and Krystal was so satisfied with Grace, she was so efficient at her job and a great cook. He had bought more supplies from the supermarket and filled the fridge with all the ingredients.

It was a very special day for him, he got up early to take a shower and put on the school uniform he bought a few weeks ago. He was happy that his uniform could fit well now. She had gained weight and did not look as malnourished as she used to be when she had just reincarnated.

He looked at himself in the mirror and smiled. Her skin was glowing thanks to the nourishing food and pills she had been taking all this time. His stamina and strength are overflowing, that's good. Now he can't fall if someone just pushes him a little bit.

The fact that she could go to school in this life, she was so grateful. He would live his life properly this time and leave no regrets. She took her bag that wasn't much in it and went downstairs to where Grace was. The woman came early as usual.

The difference today was that she cooked breakfast since she went to school. Krystal took a seat and began to eat the warm breakfast that Grace had cooked for her. The eggs from the supermarket mall are amazing, they carry a powerful energy that drives her immune system every time she has it.

She ate a little quickly and put the lunch box Grace had prepared for her into her bag.

"Enjoy your first day at school" Grace spoke softly in her voice and she smiled at him.

"Thank you, I will" Krystal said and left the villa.

She would be with her own children preparing them for the first day at school, yet she was here with him just because she needed to make a living. At least she was a kind woman who reminded her of her late mother very much. Her mother was loving and caring, it was so painful for her that she died a miserable death and even until now she had no idea where she was resting.

Krystal greeted and smiled at her neighbor as she walked out of the villa compound. He hails a taxi that takes him to Riverside High School in just twenty minutes. He doesn't want to take the bus because it takes longer and the car, he doesn't have a SIM yet so it's inappropriate.

When he arrived at school, there were many children talking and laughing. The most important thing was that they all had friends, he had no one. He was not particularly affected because he had always been a loner for a very long time.

He gripped his bag and walked to the campus and went straight to the management office. When she arrives she meets the Supervisor she showed her school ID. Five minutes later, a male teacher is brought into the office and she appears to be in her thirties.

"It's Krystal and she's going to be a new student. Take care of him, "the supervisor shortens the introductions.

"Please take care of me," Krystal politely bowed to the teacher.

"First grade is about to begin, come with me," said the male teacher as he prepared to move.

Thinking that he had not even heard his name and now he had already rushed over as if he wanted to get rid of him, it irritated him. He hated arrogant humans as much as men who judged people by appearance and did not look deeper in everything.

He quietly followed her as they passed through a number of buildings before they reached the senior block. He was taken to grade 3-5, the senior block consisted of seven classes and he happened to be in the fifth grade. He was not affected by it because he knew that his grades were not very good to start with. He would be a disgrace if he were placed in that other class.

At least in this class he will not face any pressure, he will have time to improve himself and by the time he writes the college entrance exam he can create a miracle.

When he arrived at the classroom, the entire room became quiet.

"Kids, this year you will have new classmates," said the teacher and turned to her, "introduce yourself."

"My name is Krystal Everett, please take care of me," she said with a light bow.

"Find an empty chair and make yourself comfortable" said the teacher.

He did not argue with her but simply walked deep into the room. He saw other children putting bags on empty chairs and he knew that he was not welcome. In the end he chose an empty table behind and in the corner, this was a perfect fit for him. He will not be seen and can do what he wants without any interference.

The teacher was Mr. Robert and he had been a Riverside teacher for ten years. He was one of the best, a simple mistake led him to take responsibility for grades 3-5, a class filled with lazy and famous students.

Mr. Robert started talking about the syllabus this year and he recorded it all, with the syllabus he can now focus well on in his studies.

As the man left the classroom, the students started whispering. He could hear every word and this made him very uncomfortable. If this continued, how was he supposed to listen during class?

"Hey, do you know the new kid?"

"No, who is he? I've never seen it before."

"Hey, look at this. I was just looking for the new girl's name and guess what I found?"

Krystal soon knew that it would not calm down again. He had also checked his name and found a very funny article about his arrest and he felt that as long as someone was looking for him, he would soon be found. He did not expect to be found on the first day.

The whispers continued and this time, they turned to look at him with disdain, curiosity, and some with pity.

"I can't believe we're in the same class as him. What if he attacks us like he did the girl?"

As more comments were made, Krystal simply pulled out her earphones and plugged them in. He started checking the school forums while waiting for the self-study time to end.

The children did not approach her which was a great consolation but they insisted on throwing insults and rude comments at her.

Finally, the English teacher came for the second period, there was not much to learn on that day so he only noted the important details that the teacher was talking about. Krystal doesn't mind other busy kids not concentrating, people are different and she won't let anyone mess up this opportunity for her.

Time passed quickly and rest came. Krystal left the class and went to the cafeteria where she bought a bottle of milk and finished it in just a few minutes. He was still full thanks to the delicious breakfast he had in the morning.

He went to the restroom where he took care of his business. He returns to class and is confronted by two young girls who wear arrogant faces.

"You should move out and leave our class. We can't have someone like you in our class!"

"Yes, you have to go," the others interjected in agreement like parrots.

Krystal looked at the two young girls whose faces were covered by make up, they carried a look

arrogance and they just disgust him. These girls were the type he used to throw deep into the river every time they crossed it but now he had become civilized just once.

Krystal showed a creepy smile that gave the girl a goosebumping body.

"I guess if I were you, I'd think twice before facing me like this. I'm a peace-loving person and I really don't want to be bothered by little things like this. Why should I leave school just because of you? saying so? Who do you think you are?" Krystal spoke a little louder so the whole class would hear her.

Since these two people had approached her, the others would come for her later and she felt effective to handle it at once.

"Are you threatening us now?"

"You said it and not me. I won't force you to like me but you have to endure it for this year because I'm not going anywhere. Anyway I've paid my dues," said Krystal and walked to class.

They opened a path for him as he walked into the classroom, the temperature of the classroom suddenly dropped and he could see fear imprinted in their eyes. He would not let these spoiled children ruin his life just because they believed the rumors and did not seek the truth.

When he arrived at his desk, he realized that someone had written in his chair. He looked at his classmates and sneered before he sat down on the chair ignoring them. They would clean it themselves one day and all he had to do was wait.

He put up his earphones once again and started looking for books online that the teachers recommended. If he found it then it would be easier for him to revise.

After the break, the lesson continued and just like the one before the break, there was not much to teach but he still recorded it all. The lessons will officially begin the next day.

At lunch she did not go to the cafeteria but took out her lunch box and enjoyed the warm box Aunt Grace had prepared for her. He ignored the people in sight, they were not his friends.

After she finished eating, she pulled out her phone and walked into the school forum. He had heard other students talking about him and the forum so he wanted to check it out. Who knew that he would become a celebrity on his first day?

After lunch, classes resumed again and at four classes were disbanded. He packed his bag and as he was about to leave, he was called to the staff room by Robert's teacher.

He went to the staff room and found that another teacher was already there. He knew what this was all about, but he did not hide anything.

"You probably already know what the kids are talking about. What do you think?" Krystal wants to hit her head, what kind of question is that? What did he mean?

"No one, everyone has the right to speak and it's not like it didn't happen," Krystal shrugged her shoulders as she spoke provoking anger from another teacher.

"Is he crazy?"

"Did he get nothing?"

"Is there anything you really want to talk about, sir? I have to go back home," asked Krystal impatiently as she looked at the man who wanted to be made a clown.

"You should know how to behave while you're here. I don't want to hear reports about you or you'll face expulsion" teacher Robert spoke with conviction. He had already made a threat on the first day, people were completely fickle.

"I hear you, Sir," he said and bowed before leaving the staff room.

He listened to the teachers when they spoke ill of him, but he put it aside. He had to live with it, there was no way to escape from it.
