Chapter 44: TRUTH

The room was dark because there was no light in it, his hands and feet were both tied to a very silly chair. He could not believe that he had allowed himself to be kidnapped by that lowly bastard.

If he didn't want to see how this event would end up, he wouldn't let those people touch him like that.

Thoughts of breaking bonds and chairs came up to him but before they both arrived he went to pretend to be dead and he did very well.

"I can't wait to take it out!" a woman's voice could be heard sneering and one could hear the hatred that the owner of that voice had towards K.

"Don't worry baby, you can do whatever you want with him. The day that your father and I left, we cut off all ties with him. If it wasn't for my stupid cousin that left a lot of money when she died, I wouldn't have agreed to accept the hick," Mary spoke with hatred in her same voice as her daughter Emerald.

At that moment K who was pretending to be asleep woke up and opened his eyes. His eyes were filled with sadness and shock, for someone who had just heard how his biological mother and sisters even treated him even though they were in front of him, his eyes were filled with tears.

"How ... how could you?" K asked while trying to hold back his sobs from being heard.

"You think you're all so tall and mighty that Holmes adopted you? Wherever you go, you will be known as an abandoned child who is not even wanted by his parents.How dare you try to climb stairs that you can not afford?" Mary spoke and slapped her face forcefully leaving a handprint.

"What have I ever done to you? I've never asked for anything from l0you wish you just looked at me and gave me love and attention. When have I ever done something that made you hate me so much? Am I not your daughter, too?" K threw these questions as tears flowed down his face which had been muddled with the slap he received a few minutes ago.

"So what if I'm your mother? To me you are nothing but a stain I cannot remove. I'm supposed to abort you when I have a chance or strangle you when I give birth to you. You are just one of the bearers of bad luck. Our lives are fucked because of you, what gives you the right to crawl back into our lives?"

"Mo.oth.."

"Don't let me hear that word out of your mouth?"

"You don't have to look at that pathetic sister, today I'm going to mess you up so much that you're going to die today or kill yourself.after this."

"What did I do to you? Are you the one who posted the lie on the internet?"

Such an innocent soul that was unaware of K world scheme asked the most important question and waited for the two idiots to reveal their own crimes.

"Are you really curious?" Emerald asked while stepping on K's foot made K scream in pain.

K could only nod his head in response as tears kept flowing down his cheeks.

"I can't do anything to you but I just want to know why you're doing this to me? When you pushed that girl. back then two years ago, I took the fall and served two years in jail and after all I've been through why can't you let me go?"

"Umph, who told you to go after the man I picked and wanted? Because of your stupidity and greed, you fall into tactics, if there is someone to blame then blame yourself. Why don't you just die when you're going through all that?"

"But ..... How...." K keeps saving the wrong and shocked version of himself which only makes the two laugh even more.

As a result, the mother and child couple confessed about every little thing they did to her to make her suffer. honestly what he heard was really angry but as someone who had suffered worse than this, he was not too bothered but he had to keep pretending after all the cameras were turning.

For an hour K was hit, kicked and slapped as they continued to laugh at his misfortune. K's tired of used punching bags, his face is swollen and he needs hot food. Seeing them finish confessing and humiliating themselves, K decides that it is time for him to end this event and return home.

He coughed three times which was a signal for his gang to cut off the live streaming that had occurred from the second he was tied to a dirty room. When he heard the camera stop shooting, he straightened his head and muscles which made the foolish couple look at him curiously.

"We've had enough to play, I'm so hungry, I want to go home and eat hot food" K said, unbinding him to free himself.

Seeing this power, the two women were shocked and terrified written all over their faces.

"Are you doing this on purpose?" Emerald yells at K when he realizes that it must have been played by K.

K laughed so hard that it caught the attention of the gang members who were outside.

"Defeat him! Just get rid of him!" Emerald shouted at the burly man and they all came to him at once.

Seeing these ants 'K only gave them one attack sent them to the ground. Since he knew that the police would be coming soon, he did not leave too much damage. He stared coldly at the two people who were now cowering in fear trying to escape but he did not let them go.

K blew the sleeping powder towards the two making them fall to the ground and instantly faint. He's looking for a phone and calling the alley.

"Are the police on their way?"

"Yes, right. Five more minutes will come."

"Good, is the live streaming a success?"

"Yes; the feedback is good. You won't be disappointed when you see it."

"I'm glad to hear that. Now get rid of anything that can be traced back to you. Don't leave notes, understand!"

"We got rid of everything."

"Oh, post material on the Reid family online. It's time to put an end to this," with this he ended the call and turned the phone to ashes.

When he heard the siren approaching, K inhaled the powder and fell to the ground as well. So when the police came, they just found a room full of sleeping people. As for who saved or caused this nothing could be traced.

On that day they were all taken to the hospital and it was fortunate that K was still alive just sleeping. He was treated for all the cuts and bruises he received during the beating and arrest warrants were issued to Emerald and May Reid as they had confessed to a number of crimes of living unknowingly.

Elvis Jnr. doesn't know who his family has offended but he knows deep down that this result is fair. His mother and sister actually dug a grave for themselves. He doesn't even suspect K for who he is aware that he's a fool who can't be fought for. So how's it going to be? could he have devised such a scheme? This is really revenge.
