"Actually I also want to have a [Familiar] like you. But I wasn't brave enough to bond with the Mytichal Beast" Evangeline said as she and Argeas were chatting in the reading room a few days later.
"Hm.. How about you tame a wild animal." Argeas gave input.
"You mean Taming?" Evangeline.
"really. " Argeas nudged a little.
"What are you really thinking, Ar? I'm not a Tamer. So where might I have the ability of Taming," replied Evangeline.
"Don't worry" Argeas replied back.
"Don't you want to give me [Beast Master Crest]?" Evangeline guessed with a worried face, just in case her guess was correct.
"No. I haven't figured out where to get the [Beast Master Crest]," Argeas replied casually.
"Then?"
"I have the [Sigil of Wilderness]," continued the young man still casually.
"You got a Sigil to tame? Why am I not surprised to hear that. You got it from one of the ruins around Danae?" Evangeline asked.
"No. I bought it from a merchant when I was stopping in the city of Herpoit on the way here." Argeas.
"really?"
"Yes, I originally bought it because I was interested in collecting it" replied the 16-year-old again with an explanation.
"You're interested in collecting Sigil? Prestige your hobby once, Ar," said Evangeline.
"Haha, yes, it is not wrong to say so. Because I bought it for 3 pieces of Platinum Gold," continued Argeas with a slightly proud face.
"Did? Three Gold Platinum pieces? Have you gone crazy? You've been ripped off you know?! The average sigil costs 80 gold pieces on the market. The most expensive is also about 1 piece of Platinum Gold," Evangeline sewot half did not accept Argeas spend that much money for goods that are not too valuable.
"Yes, I guess because I really wanted it back then. So don't think anymore" replied Argeas admitting his mistake.
"You really need to change your bad habits. From now on consult me when you want to spend a large amount of money." Evangeline added.
"Well, I'll do it in front of him" the young man replied with a slightly awkward smile.
'Yeah, I don't really care when I buy it. Because I knew it was necessary to venture into the Dungeon in the southern region to obtain that Sigil directly. And I think it's going to be hard to get there in the near future. So I bought it without a second thought, ' her mind then.
"Back to taming." Argeas took out pieces of wood as wide as a palm and along two finger segments from his Spacial Storage. It was the [Sigil of Wilderness].
"Use this Sigil to tame the beast."
"You want me to tame a beast on my own?" Evangeline frowned.
"Obviously no. I'll stand by and tell you how."
"Can I do it?" asked the girl with a hint of hope in her eyes.
"Don't worry. After all Class [Tamer] is a derived class from [Erudite]. So it should be natural to do by you," said Argeas trying to raise the heart of his prospective fiancee.
"But it remains awkward. Why don't you do the taming, Ar?"
"I'm not interested in having [Partner]. Because I already have Lushu. To be yours, you must tame the beast yourself. Because [Partner] or [Pet] cannot be moved," replied Argeas.
"Yes, I know that." Evangeline looked a little doubtful and indecisive.
"Then what beast shall we tame?" Argeas tried to change the theme of the conversation to shift the concerns of his potential fiancee.
"Hm. in hindsight, it should be strong enough to help us in the fight. But also do not be too scary to be taken to public places," replied Evangeline who began to forget her previous worries.
"If Grifon might be too scary" Argeas said, thinking. "What about Pegasus? I think the animal was pretty cool to be taken to a public place."
"What's your perception of the general thing broken, Ar? You're calling Grifon and Pegasus like there's no need to tame a beast of that class?" Evangeline sewot.
"Don't worry. Lushu and I will defeat him. You just need to tame him when he's helpless."
"That's not what I mean."
"Oh! How about Fenrir. Isn't that a beast typical of this border region?" cut off Argeas suddenly.
"Fenrir?" Evangeline looks to start weighing. "The Silver Wolf is strong enough to help us fight. And it looks pretty tame to be taken to public places."
"really. The animal is not too difficult to beat. And moreover, Fenrir was a typical beast of the Lavis region. Right, right?" Argeas began to look excited as Evangeline became interested in the idea.
"Yes, I think you're right. All right then. We will tame Fenrir" said Evangeline who finally gave the verdict.
"Ready!" exclaim Argeas chimed.
"Eh, but we can't do it by stealth, can we? What should we explain that suddenly I have Fenrir as a pet?" Evangeline solves the problems they will face.
"Totally so."
"How about we make a scenario, if we tame it by accident?" Evangeline expressed her idea.
"Scenario?"
"really. So we'll go during the day with permission to travel alone. Then on that trip we accidentally met with Fenrir, and to save myself my last option was to tame him," she explained as if she was recounting an incident that had happened.
"Oh... Sounds reasonable to me." Argeas nodded small. Seemed satisfied with the reasons concocted by his future fiancee.
"So we just use that excuse?" ask Evangeline to ask for confirmation.
"Yes" said Argeas without thinking.

The next day Fenrir's hunting plan was carried out. Evangeline asks her family for permission to ride with Argeas to a frozen lake in the woods around the castle.
Which was immediately allowed by the Marquis without a second thought.
"If you've been in contact with me, I always agree" Evangeline said as the two of them rode far enough away from the castle.
"I think it's all for reasons we're quite reasonable and harmless" replied Argeas who did not want to admit the words of his prospective master.
"Today I really wanted to have a picnic with you on the edge of a frozen lake" said the girl later with a little manyun.
"Don't be sad like that. We will definitely go out and have a picnic alone after I have entered the academy later," Argeas replied trying to cheer up the prospective fiancee.
"really? Promise?"
"Yes I promise" replied Argeas quickly. "Well, now let's go into that forest. Ascian said there were Fenrir's nests around the place" he added later.
Evangeline was singing her face. "Alright," he replied lazily.
The two of them started riding towards the lips of the forest which then left their horses behind as they started to enter the overflowing area.
Argeas and Evangeline continued their journey on foot. And fortunately Evangeline was wearing the usual clothes worn by a hunter. So make it easier to move around in such areas.
.
Shortly afterwards there was an unsettling growling sound coming from the side of the couple.
Argeas immediately pulled out his magic wand and stared towards the growl it was coming from warily.
"W-what is it, Ar?" Evangeline immediately stepped closer and hid behind Argeas.
"It looks like we've found what we've been looking for." Argeas answered while pointing forward.
A faint look from behind the shadow of a white wolf tree that was almost as big as a horse was seen growling intimidation towards Argeas and Evangeline.
"Well, that's pretty scary. What am I supposed to do, Ar?" evangeline said with a slight tremble trying to hide more behind Argeas' body
"As you used to do when we were exploring the Labyrinth Cave. I'll tell you when you should tame him" the 16-year-old said later.
"Be good."
'Basically, this taming technique is similar to the dominance magic that attacks the mental when in a bad condition, and forces him to make a contract. So more or less like when I got Lushu, this wolf had to be defeated first, Argeas inner before then preparing to make an attack.
"Lu!" Argeas called out his [Familiar]. "Let's get started," he continued later with an invitation.
'Ready, sir!'
And the Elemental Fox immediately charged forward, followed by its master who started shooting fireballs at the white wolf.
.
The battle of times was relatively easy for Argeas and Lushu. Because what they are fighting is Fenrir who is classified as an ordinary ferocious beast. And not a monster or Mytical Beast from a Special Event.
.
With the [Analys] skill that Argeas had learned before, the young man continued to monitor the status of the white wolf he was fighting against.
And not long after, after Fenrir's HP value was below 100, Argeas immediately ordered Lushu to stop attacking. Then he started using the Magic Skill [Bind] to lock the wolf's motion.
"Well Eve, now you can tame her" the young man said later.
"Ba-good." Evangeline seemed a little hesitant.
Then it appeared that the girl took a deep breath before taking out a piece of wood from the bag on her waist.
"Tame!" he shouted while directing the piece of wood to the wolf who was unable to move in front of him.
The piece of wood shone brightly and soon disappeared just like that.
The wood was the [Sigil of Wilderness]. A Magic Device that falls into the Rune category. An average magic script could only be used once to obtain a special Skill, Spell, or Status.
In addition to Sigil there are still Emblems, Crests, and Insignia that are included in the Rune category.
As for the [Sigil of Wilderness] itself had a Special Skill [Tame] that would disappear once used.
Meanwhile, a symbol began to form and shone brightly on the back of Evangeline's right hand after the Sigil he used had disappeared. It was a sign that the taming process was successful.
Then came the notification in Evangeline's mind.

"How's Eve?" Argeas walked up to his future fiancee with little worry.
While Evangeline was seen twitching her eyes several times staring at the white wolf who was seriously injured in front of her.
"I think it worked" he said without turning away from the Fenrir.
"Then I will take my magic off" said Argeas, cancelling the Wolves' Magic Spell [Bind].
And after Argeas's locking magic disappeared, Evangeline immediately rushed over to the wolf while taking out a few small bottles of Elixir to heal the wound.
Soon the white wolf was able to stand up again.
Evangeline looked overjoyed and immediately hugged the neck of her new [Partner].
"From now on your name is Snow" the girl said.
And Fenrir began to howl long as if he was showing his joy on behalf given by Evangeline.
But suddenly there appeared some other wolves from behind the trees around where Argeas and Evangeline were standing.
Argeas and Lushu quickly put up a standby position to prepare for the attack.
Snow barked short when he saw Argeas begin to lift his wand.
"Wait a minute, Ar," said Evangeline, who realized something was wrong.
"What's Eve?"
"Attent." Evangeline looked back at her beast as if she was communicating in silence.
"What's? You're the Alpha Wolf in your flock?" Evangeline screamed for no reason.
"Why, Eve?" Argeas asked again, not understanding.
"The wolves are Snow's herd" said Evangeline, who finally gave an explanation.
"You mean Snow is their leader?" Argeas.
The girl just nodded.
"Then does that mean they're also part of the Pact you made with Snow?" Argeas asked back.
"I feel that way. Status," exclaimed Evangeline who then stared at her Status Window which was empty air in Argeas's viewpoint.
"But why do I only have 1 bond? Uh, briefly... It seems like the rest of Fenrir's herd falls into the [Pet] category," the girl continued as she gnawed her index finger in the air before her.
"Whoa! They have 18. I got 18 [Pet], Ar! And everything is Fenrir!" then with a splash.
"I never thought taming the leader of the flock would tame the whole herd as well." Argeas.
'This never happened in the game. Maybe this world has different rules with his game, his inner later.
"Then what now? I have 18 additional Fenrir. There's no way I'll take it all to the academy, right?" A look of confusion on Evangeline's face.
"Yes, I think we should leave him here first. While looking for the solution." Argeas gave advice.
"Well, I was planning on taking you to the Academy and showing it off to everyone."
Evangeline looked a little disappointed while hugging the wolf's neck.
.
"I will try to ask my father that Snow and his flock have a special place to live around the caste" Evangeline said as they walked to where their horses were.
"And warned the people not to hunt them" the girl continued.
"You can order them to guard the monsters around the castle later. Then the citizens will also feel benefited by their existence." Argeas gave advice.
"yes too. I think you'll definitely agree with the idea."
.
The arrival of Argeas and Evangeline made a scene in Lavis castle. Especially the guards and servants.
It was because they were both riding followed by 19 Fenrir around them. Snow's body size was almost as big as the horse they both rode.
-
"You are just there." The marquis groaned softly after hearing the complete story from his daughter. And also requests about leaving the herd temporarily in the forest around the castle.
"But what can you do. You can leave him here for a while. After all, Lavis' family had a relationship with Fenrir since time immemorial.
"You could say Fenrir is an unofficial symbol of our family. So it is impossible for anyone to dare to hunt them down, too" continued the Marquis.
"But wouldn't it be a matter of the herd leaving their native habitat?" This time Julius asked.
"Animals who are already in a bond with a tamer will gain an additional intelligence that makes them much easier to adapt to the new environment, and lose some of their natural animal traits." Argeas tried to provide information that might be useful.
"I'm not too concerned about that. But habitat in this region. I think Fenrir is the highest food chain in the region. If a region loses its Primary Predator, then the ecosystem will be a mess." Julius explained the concerns of the previous question.
"Don't worry. Sis. According to Snow, the herd of Fenrir was not just one in this region. Maybe something will change. That is the change of hunting territory of the herds.
"So what we must be aware of is the possibility of a fight between the herd in the future. So if according to Snow," said Evangeline trying to answer the concerns of the brother.
"Ah. You're so happy to trouble people, Eve." Julius looked a little annoyed after hearing of the possible problems that would arise in his territory.
"Hey, how do I know that the Fenrir I tamed is Alpha. And the impact of his bond affects the whole herd." Evangeline looks unhappy.
"It wouldn't have happened if you didn't want to tame a beast at first."
"But I would also like to have [Partner] like Ar."
"Did Argeas have [Partner]?" This time Julius asked almost simultaneously with the Marquis.
While Argeas himself could only smile awkwardly shrugging both of his shoulders as Marquis and Julius stared at him like he was asking for an explanation.
"Bu-not so. I mean I want a guard. Yes, I am a [Erudite]. So having [Partner] is one solution," Evangeline coral as much as possible.
"justified? You are always throwing a tantrum," said the brother while exhaling a long breath.
"This has already happened." replied Evangeline with a manyun face and a little upset.
-
After that Snow and his herd were given a place in the forest on the east side of the castle to stay and hunt.
While Argeas was walking quietly without any significant problems until the time when Evangeline had to return to the Academy, Argeas returned home.
