Amelia felt very anxious because Arel had not come home yet. It's been an hour since Arel left. Amelia kept pacing in front of the door waiting for Arel to come home. He couldn't even reach Arel because he left his phone at home.
"Dark! Tuh, kid. Always make me anxious," muttered Amelia increasingly huffled, agitated and unkind.
Soon, he calls Metra to ask her for help in finding Arel together. Amelia waited for Metra's arrival uneasily. Sometimes he bites his thumb nails and occasionally he glances at the clock.
"Why hasn't Metra come yet?" he was really panicking.
Not long before finally Metra arrived at Amelia's house.
"Amelia?" call Metra when I get to Amelia's house. He found Amelia who looked so panicked because she worried about Arel.
"Metra! Metra, Metra! Let's go out and find Arel!" it was so very anxious and panicked.
"Calm down, Amel! Arel only left for an hour. Don't panic! Maybe he's straying elsewhere at the moment" Metra responded in a postive manner.
"No Met! Arel is not usually gini. Did walking from here to Alfamart ahead take an hour? My heart doesn't taste good Met. I'm worried!" amelia.
"Well, maybe. In Alfamart Arel is still in line to pay."
"Met! No way! I don't know. I don't know. But I'm a mother! Suddenly I feel anxious. It means something happened to him!" snapped Amelia could no longer hold back.
"All right, we'll find him together, okay?"
Amelia nodded small in her panic. And they hurried off to find Arel in Alfamart. But, it's a shame they didn't find it.
"Sorry, Ma'am. There was an 18-year-old girl. It is about 156 cm tall. She wears a nightgown.the same hair in one pigtail. Did he come here?" ask Amelia to the cashier.
"Oh yes. That was the girl whose characteristics were mentioned here. But he was gone an hour ago" replied the cashier.
"What?! You hear that, Metra? Where is he now?" amelia panicked and started crying.
"Calm down first. We don't know yet. As good as we're looking for him around here. Perhaps, he deviated to another place," Metra replied still trying to calm down so that conditions could be well controlled.
Amelia nodded small with an opinion from Metra. They also went out and searched around the place that Arel was likely to go. They searched the whole place. But after two hours of searching, they found Arella nowhere.
Now Amelia's cry broke. "Where Are, Met? Where's she?" her sighs no longer held back her fear and sorrow worried for her only daughter.
"Calm down. We can definitely find her" said Metra, embracing Amelia. However, Amelia rebelled and immediately broke away. Then he looked hard at Metra.
"Let you say? Met, my son is missing! And you want me to calm down! How can I calm down Metra! What if something bad happens to him? She's my only life Metra! How can I calm down" snapped Amelia.
"I understand! I understand your sadness, your anxiety! But, you need to stay calm, and think passively. Nothing's gonna happen to him, all right?" metra's reply grabbed both of Amelia's shoulders and looked at her fixedly.
"I'll report to the police. Arel must be found immediately" said Amelia as she stepped away to the car.
"Mell! Mel, wait! Amel!" call Metra.
"What?! Let's leave! We'll report to the police!" kekeh Amelia made Metra no longer able to say anything. It's free to explain to Amelia in her condition like this. It was better for him to obey what he wanted.
"Alright," Metra replied resignedly and relented.
They immediately headed for the police. Amelia was in such a hurry to get down when she got there. He just went in and broke through.
"Mel, Mel wait!" metra who soon overtakes Amelia.
"Dad. I want to report my son is missing. She's a girl, her hair is shoulder-length, 154cm tall. And her white skin is very pretty. Please find him!" amelia.
"Alright, please calm down for a moment. How old is your son?" ask the police again.
"age 18. She's sitting in 12th grade now," she replies to a sobbing in her panic.
"good. When did he disappear?" ask the police again.
"He went missing 3 hours ago. Please find him!" amelia asked and hoped for a lot.
While Metra only sighed with what Amelia was doing now.
"Sorry, Mom. You mean, mom's son went missing 3 hours ago?" repeat the cop.
"Dad, why?"
The policeman chuckled as if laughing at the report Amelia gave.
"Mom, I was sorry earlier. But Mom's report we can't take."
"Why? Why can't it?"
"Because the mother's child can be said to be hilanh after he did not come home or return for 24 hours. But, if the report of his loss was only 3 hours, it could not be said he was missing. It could be, your child is still playing or going to his friend's house. After all, he was 18 years old. So, I don't worry," the cop explained, making Amelia frown.
"What's? Sir! She's a girl! I never let him play until night. I educated my son well. For the first time, he did not come home. That means he's missing!" Amelia's chuckles.
"Amelia, come on," lera tried to pull Amelia away. Amelia rebelled. "No Metra!"
"Sorry, Mom. But you can come back after 24 hours. If Mom's son still doesn't come back, then we'll receive a report from Mom," the police officer said, without thinking about Amelia's current feelings.
"Listen, sir, cop. I don't think you deserve to be called a cop. Because what? Because you are not useful at all. I'm reporting that my son is missing! But calmly you said such a thing to me? You don't know what it's like to lose a child.
What if you are in my position? What are you gonna do? Are you still going to follow that stupid rule? Before you can find, then at that time you will regret it," said Amelia at length.
"Please take care of your words, you. You could be prosecuted for insulting a police officer!" the policeman started to get angry and hit the table.
"Cihhh.. Sue? You didn't speak wrong? As long as you know, I'm never afraid. As long as I'm right."
"Amel, already. Let's just go," lera Metra tried to forcefully pull Amelia.
"What, Met anyway? Unhand me!" muttered Amelia chuckles.
Metra doesn't care and continues to pull Amelia out of the police station. Moreover, seeing the police look very angry, making Metra had to pull Amelia to stop.
"You're nothing, anyway?" annoyed Amelia pushed Metra's chest very strongly. "Why did you pull me away? I'm not done with him!"
"Amel, listen! It's no use arguing with him. What is, you want them to keep you here all night, for making a fuss let alone insulting him? If that happens, then we won't be able to find Arella.
We're just gonna waste time. Listen, Amelia. I promise, I'll find Arel till I see you. Without the help of the police, we can find him. So, relax. Come on, let's find Arel together" Metra said at length. Amelia could not say anymore and only nodded lightly in her cries.
Metra hugged Amelia tightly to calm the storm inside Amelia. He gently stroked Amelia's hair.
"I promise. We'll find him" whispered Metra.
