Sandecale

A few hours later, Ana was found by her parents lying covered in rice sacks behind their own house. Suddenly it makes them shocked and astonished because Ana is not seen coming home since she left home.

His face looked confused, more precisely dazed. After he regained consciousness, Ana's parents claimed to have been taken by a female figure when she was alone at school.

Initially he was hidden on the ceiling of the school, although logically the structure of the ceiling of the school building does not allow to withstand the burden of humans because it is made of woven bamboo that is already fragile inedible age.

In addition, he was also taken to the rice mill warehouse area located some distance from his school. Somehow he was able to move from one place to another without anyone knowing until he was found by his parents.

Ana has been kidnapped by Wewe Gombel. The gripping story is a true story experienced by my neighbors as a child. In that school I studied 20 years ago.

Wewe Gombel or Kolong Wewe is an extra-terrestrial figure who has long dangling breasts. The mystical creature is said to love kidnapping children in the days leading up to Magrib (sandekala). When launching the action, he can change his form so as not to make his victims afraid.

Those who are kidnapped by Wewe Gombel will be given food in the form of human waste with the aim of making them hallucinate so that they cannot reveal their form and what they have experienced.

Wewe Gombel is an old woman who is said to come from the Gombel mountains in Semarang, Central Java.

In the past, there was a grandmother who was very fond of playing with children because they did not have children. He lived at the foot of the Gombel Mountains and when a child was looking for firewood, his grandmother would invite them to stop by his hut.

They will be given food and fruits until sometimes make the child forget to go home until their parents look for him.

However, because the grandmother understood that the child was not her child, she was told to go home and sometimes she herself brought them home.

The people of West Java identify the term sandekala through the culture of pamali. While the people of East Java and Central Java, pamali culture can be recognized through the concept of "ora elok" (not appropriate). Both are often associated with things that are considered abstinence or should not be done.

Sandekala has its roots in Sanskrit meaning red curate in the twilight sky or twilight. In the Javanese variety sandekala has the equivalent of the word "wayah tibra withered" which means when the sun starts to set (approximately 17:30).

Indeed, the use of a scary figure is chosen as a form of parental affection for his children so that nothing unwanted happens. Through frightening symbols children are expected to follow the advice of parents and stay at home during the sandekala.

That view is also in line with the study of Islam. Encourage children not to wander outside the house and close the door closely ahead of Magrib's time of law.

In Islam, sandekala is the time when Jinns and Devils begin to spread in the same realm as humans in search of shelter.

They are scattered in various forms with a number that no one knows but Allah. Some of them are afraid of other demons so they must have something that they make a safe place to take shelter.

The hadith of Prophet Muhammad SAW can in fact be explained scientifically. In a scientific book called The Science Of Prayer by Prof. Research. DR. Ir. H. Osly Rachman, MS, revealed that in the lead-up to Magrib, the natural color spectrum was on the same level as the frequency of the extra-terrestrial beings (Jin and Satan), the red color spectrum.

According to him, on the eve of Magrib, Jin and Devil were at the peak of his magic. This is because the resonance is in harmony with the natural spectrum.

The change of time from day to night can also affect the physical human, from the aspect of vision to the mind, especially in children.

During this time, their eyes and minds will need adjustment. At that time the children had difficulty in identifying the way home, so that made him lost. It was later assumed by the community, that the loss of children was due to Wewe Gombel activities. However, it does not rule out the possibility that what they believe is true.

Sandekala is not a mere figment, the phenomenon can be proven both through the glasses of anthropology, religion, and science. The three are related to each other. And support each other.

In the primordial order of society, it was used to anticipate bad habits in children who could potentially break the rules. For example, children who are supposed to study, worship, or gather with family, but instead play outside the home without parental supervision.

Regardless of whether or not the figure of Wewe Gombel who likes to come out during the sandekala, local wisdom is very important we dig, we dig, how old people used to approach ghost narration so that children want to hear advice and not forget time.

Do you realize, "evening" which is often poetized by poets as "dusk" is not as beautiful?
