Chapters 2. A Betrayal

Vania was already impatiently waiting for someone to pick her up. It had been ten minutes he was pacing on the porch of his house. Not long after, the sound of a motorbike stopped in front of the fence of his house. Vania immediately ran over and approached the person.

“How long are you?  I've been waiting since,” said Vania annoyed.

“Sorry baby, I had to stop Tiara at her house,” Kelvin replied while stroking Vania's hair.

Vania nodded her head but her face looked so sad.

“Don't be sad. Today we want to have fun,” persuaded Kelvin.

Vania was forced to smile and ride on Kelvin's bike. Kelvin was riding his bike fast. Vania hugged Kelvin and enjoyed the wind blowing on his face.

Kelvin will take Vania to the Fantasy World, Dufan. A fun playground, a gaming arena that will be where they spend time together.

Along the way to Dufan, all that was seen on Vania's face was a smile. He had imagined himself with Kelvin would have fun there. But that does not mean that happy is also what Kelvin is feeling. Because his love is being divided at the same time, between Tiara and Vania.

That's Kelvin's heart.

How not, about six months he had been in love with Tiara. And I don't know what was in his mind at that time until now Vania can be in his arms. Yes, Vania, who is also a close friend of her first lover, Tiara.

A few minutes drive on the road, Kelvin stopped the speed of his motorbike. They arrived in Dufan. Kelvin takes off the helmet and jacket he wears, he helps Vania remove the pink helmet worn by Vania.

The vast Dufan Arena they explored one by one. Not to be missed also the rides of games such as comedy, kora-kora and roller coaster which is their goal to have fun.

There was no other mimic seen on Vania's face other than cheerful, and somehow what other expressions could describe how happy Vania was at that time playing with Kelvin, her lover.

“Vin, we sit down first, yuk! My feet are so sore nih”, complained Vania on Kelvin with a happy face that was exhausted from adventuring to explore almost all the rides that exist Dufan.

“Yes already, we sit there aja.” show Kelvin on a park bench made of iron following beautiful carvings, he said, making a long seat with gold paint color it looks more like royal chairs.

“You're thirsty, aren't you? I'm looking for a drink first huh.” said softly Kelvin while throwing his sweet smile at Vania.

Vania nodded her head while smiling at Kelvin. He sat alone looking at Kelvin who was slowly moving away from his sight.

“Kelvin, is it possible that we can keep kayak gini?” vania gumam. His heart that had been happy was immediately sipped, questioning how it would relate to Kelvin now. While he knew full well, Kelvin was the lover of his best friend, Tiara.

Sitting alone among the crowd of visitors Dufan, Vania pensively felt the pain of his heart. A cheerful face, immediately turned on a wry smile, right at the corner of his lips.

Vania turned her head towards where Kelvin was passing. There was a well-built man carrying two soft drinks who was walking towards him. It was Kelvin, the man he had been thinking about since and made his heart excommunicate.

Kelvin approached Vania, sat right on her left side, and then presented the drink he had bought to the girl in pink. And without a sound, just with a look also a sweet smile in response to a thank you for Kelvin who had given a drink for him, Vania received the Kelvin gift.

In the crowd, after sipping a drink Kelvin gave him, Vania said softly. “Why yes, I feel that our relationship will not lama”, said Vania Lirih, who then made the two silence each other. Without looking at each other.

“If only, I had met you first rather than Tiara, surely our relationship is not as complicated as this”, Kelvin said in a weakened voice.

Meet me first, right? vania said in her heart.

“My heart hurts, Vin. Every time you see you're the same Tiara. I don't know where to put my heart, explained Vania.

“I promise, I'll tell Tiara that I actually love you. I'll tell him everything. I promise you.  You believe in me, right?” gently reveal Kelvin to calm Vania down.

Vania nodded her head. However, his heart was still not calm. He only saw Kelvin smile at him. Just returned that smile with a small smile on her lips. Love, pain, guilt and sacrifice became one in him. No one could feel the pain of all those feelings other than her.

Tiara walked towards her class while spreading a smile on her tiny lips. Sometimes he saw a box he was carrying. He had imagined the happiness that would happen to him.

Arriving in class he immediately put the box on Vania's desk. The table is right at the front. Vania and the girl who was busy chatting at that time, both frowned seeing Tiara put the box down.

“This fire, Ra?” ask Vania.

“This cake tart for Kelvin. Today is her birthday,” Tiara replied happily.

“You know Van, from last night he made me dizzy because of Kelvin's birthday. Good thing last night you did not come” oceh Girl to Vania.

Vania could only quietly listen to the words of her two best friends. Sometimes he just smiles a little. In his heart, he felt that he had become a thorn in the flesh. What would happen to him if Tiara learned of his closeness to Kelvin. Vania felt, she needed to be careful to talk or better she just shut up.

“Now you have to celebrate Kelvin's birthday. We go to his class now!” take Tiara to Vania and Girl.

“I'm not coming!” reject Vania. “A... I'm here, because I'm not feeling well anymore,” nervous Vania looking for an excuse.

“Feelings from earlier you are in good health,” replied the confused girl.

Vania was so scared. Without feeling the water coming out of his forehead.

“Come dong, Van..help me just this once. This is the first time I've done a surprise for Kelvin. I don't know if he likes it or not. I need you two,” Tiara said in a clear tone.

Vania looked at Tiara's hopeful face. He could not bear to see the pitying Tiara and plead with her.

Finally, Vania was forced to accompany Tiara. The three of them rushed to Kelvin's class.

Kelvin was talking to his friends. He was so surprised by the Happy Birthday song sung by Tiara. The class became crowded with applause and cheers.

“Still yes...” Kelvin said with a smile and a wipe of Tiara's hair.

Everyone in the class applauded the couple. Except Vania. He just looked at the show with a sad face. Her chest feels so tight. He tried to hold back his tears. But he can no longer. He just left the class.

Kelvin saw that clearly. Yes, he saw sadness on Vania's face. His heart also seemed to see the woman he also loved had to see something like this. But, Kelvin had no other choice but to remain still in place.

“Oh, almost forgot. This is a gift for you,” said Tiara timidly while handing a parcel to Kelvin.

“Still yes, Ra... You have my same attention,” Kelvin replied with a smile.

Tiara's cheeks are flushed. He was so happy that his surprise went well. Especially looking at Kelvin who was smiling from earlier. He hopes his relationship with Kelvin will continue to be beautiful like this.
