Chapter 24

After Indira and Marcel's quarrel subsided, Anita came with food for her daughter-in-law.

"Darling, you eat first!" He said while opening the parcel he was carrying.

"I'm not hungry yet, Ma!" Indira answered while wiping away her tears.

Anita noticed that Indira's eyelids were still wet, and she looked at Marcell sharply.

"What did you do to Indira?" Ask annoyed.

Marcell sat on the couch. "I didn't do anything!"

Anita shook her head in disbelief. He folded both his hands on his chest.

"Marcell please, please don't hurt his feelings. As long as you stay home, you never come home! Where are you really?" Anita asked in annoyance.

Marcell did not reply, Indira clasped the hand of the in-law.

"Ma, don't be mad at Mas Marcell! I'm fine, anyway all this she did for my happiness and the future baby." Answer Indira softly.

Anita's heart melted and smiled. He looked in his eyes, looking annoyed at Marcell.

"If only Mama could choose, Mama would rather Indira be a child than you!"

Marcell smiled his smile and left. "Whatever...!"

Marcell left without saying goodbye, his heart seemed sad because his mother preferred Indira. Everything she did was just to make her happy, but everything she did was wrong in her eyes.

Marcell didn't want to think much about all such trivial matters. He sat in the hospital garden under a shady tree. The air was cold and made his heart calm.

From a distance, a woman noticed him. He took a cell phone and photographed Marcell from a distance.

"Now I can only look at your picture, but I'm sure soon you'll be mine!" He said while staring at the photo on his phone.

Marcell looked around and saw many people passing by. Her eyes were fixed on a pregnant woman, her smile was so happy in the company of her husband.

He began to think of Amelia. His days must have been tough and he couldn't be by his side. There is regret in his heart, because it has taken away the happiness of Amelia.

"If I hadn't ruined her future, maybe Amelia could have smiled happily with the man she loved." His inner.

While Marcell was daydreaming, Mr. Ardi came to him anxiously.

"Young master!" Greet her while bowing her body.

"What's wrong, why do you look so panicked?"

"Miss Amelia...!"

Mr. Ardi's words stopped because Marcell interrupted. Marcell got up with perfectly rounded eyes.

"What's wrong with Amelia?"

"Miss, fell in the bathroom! And right now Miss is being treated here!" Answer Mr. Ardi.

"Take me there!" Marcell said in a hurry.

Mr. Ardi took Marcell to Amelia's room. And it turns out, the room is next to the Indira room. Marcell didn't realize because he was panicking too much.

He went inside wearing a mask and approached the doctor who was examining him. The doctor looked in wonder at the man in front of him.

"How's it going, doc?" Ask Marcell.

"He's fine! It's just...!" The doctor stopped.

"What only?" Ask Marcell curiously.

"Only, Ms. Amelia was too stressed and added that she also fell from the bathroom. The baby's shaken to the point of bleeding, but you take it easy, the baby's in the womb is in good shape." Answer Doctor.

"Thank God!" Marcell said with relief.

"But you don't be happy! The baby in the womb is fine for now. But if this happens again, I can't guarantee it." The doctor came back.

"Sorry...! I was careless and I'm really sorry!" Amelia answered with teary eyes.

"You know, I'm worried about you! What exactly is going on?"

"So I cleaned the bathroom and I slipped!" Amelia answered slowly.

"Clean the bathroom!" Marcell said the words of Amelia and turned to Mr. Ardi who was beside her.

"I've left everything to you, but why don't the servants do their job so well!" Said Marcell in Landa, angry.

"Sorry young master! I have done it as much as I can. But according to the servants, Miss Amelia refused to be served and chose to do her own homework!" Answer Mr. Ardi.

Marcell looked at Amelia sharply. Amelia admitted her mistake and felt remorse.

"I'm sorry! I promise this one last time!" Answer Amelia.

Marcell's anger dimmed, when he saw Amelia crying.he hugged her and kissed her forehead.

"That's it, the important thing is that you and the baby are okay!" Marcell answered softly.

Marcell recalled the words of the Doctor who said that Amelia was too stressed. He did not want to add to his mind.

And without realizing it, Anita noticed them from the glass in the door. He saw all the events that surprised him. Even though Marcell was wearing a mask, he still recognized his son. Because the mask Marcell used was a gift from his father when he was a child.

Marcell came out and Anita rushed to hide. After Marcell and Mr. Ardi left, Anita went into Amelia's room and looked at her.

"Whose mother?" Ask Amelia astonished.

"Sorry, I entered without permission! I heard you fell out of the bathroom and the man who came out of the room was your husband?" Ask Anita gently.

Amelia nodded her head in response. Anita was so surprised to hear all that, but she tried to calm down. He sat down next to Amelia and looked at her.

"May you touch your stomach!"

"Of course!" Answer Amelia.

Anita stroked her stomach from behind her clothes. He felt that this woman was really pregnant and not pretending.

"How old is she?"

"It's only been 4 months!" Answer Amelia.

Anita was surprised back, she wondered why the woman Marcell met was pregnant with the same Indira. Anita came out without saying goodbye, but Amelia did not hold any suspicions.

Anita returned to Indira's room and sat down beside her.

"Darling, may Mama caress your belly!" Her speech.

Indira seemed restless, he was confused what to answer to reject it.

"But Ma...!"

"Just a moment! After all, Mama wants to stroke from under the clothes!" Anita interrupted Indira's words.

Indira hesitated. Anita smiled and stroked Indira's stomach from behind her clothes. He seemed to frown, because Indira's stomach was tender and her hands began to shake.

Anita said nothing. He tried to smile and stroke Indira's hair.

"You rest first, Mama wants to go first" he said.

"Yes Ma, Mama be careful on the road."

Anita smiled and left Indira's room. All of his thoughts were chaotic and he wanted to confirm all of his conjectures.

"She has a soft stomach, which means she's not pregnant. But why did they do all this to me! Means the woman next to him is a substitute."

Anita is not in a state of mind with Marcell and Indira lying to her. His heart ached and disappointed, but he wanted his answer and the certainty of his conjecture.

"Has a shame, Marcell was never home! That means she's at the woman's house to keep her pregnancy. And Indira allowed it because all this was the plan of the two of them!" His mind is disappointed.
