RAHAYU HAMLET
CHAPTER 7
Madam Sri was silent. The look on his face described something like a poignant event that he felt.
"Why, Miss Sri?" Ask Silvi.
"It's okay, Sil. Oh, ja. I'm going to the library first, okay?" Madam immediately left him. At that time Silvi was confused about Bu Sri's attitude.

Silvi is in the living room while compiling activities for KKN later. Mbok Mirna came to him.
"In drink first his warm tea, Non" said Mbok Mirna.
"Yes, Mbok. Thanks" Silvi said. But when Mbok Mirna put the warm tea, he fell silent when he saw the proposal KKN located in the hamlet of Lengger.

That afternoon Silvi was lying on her bed staring at the ceiling.
"Where is Mom really?" Ask Silvi's heart.
Suddenly, there was also the sound of a horn. Silvi rushed out of the house. And that horn came from Denis' vehicle.
Today they both want to go to the hamlet of Rahayu to re-observe Rahayu Hamlet.
"So, Sil?"
"Where, den?"
"She said to go to Rahayu's hamlet?"
"Oh yeah, I forgot. I'll change my clothes first!" After the preparation was completed Silvi also said goodbye to Mbok Mirna.
"Mbok, Silvi wants to go first with Denis"
"Where are you going, Non?"
"You go to the hamlet of rahayu, Mbok. There are some questions Silvi wants to ask Mr. Sugeng!" Silvi.
"Sir Sugeng?" Mbok Mirna asked with a serious face.
"Yes, Mbok. He's the head of Rahayu's hamlet!"
"Yes, be careful. Don't forget to pray a lot!"

That afternoon Silvi and Denis also left for the hamlet of Rahayu and because of the sloping journey without congestion, it did not take long for them to reach the road to the location of Rahayu Hamlet.
Denis parked his vehicle near the old shack that Mr. Siman was waiting for their vehicle. However, midway, from a distance they both saw someone sitting on the roadside resting on their way.
"Den, that's what demon people are?" silvi.
"Yes people, Sil. Most residents of Rahayu hamlet again nyari firewood" replied Denis.
"There's something I can help you with, Grandma" asked Silvi
"Grandma's just taking a break, son"
"Grandma, where are you going. How, alone in the middle of a gini forest?"
"Grandma's getting some firewood, son"
"Let me bring the wooden twigs, Grandma" Denis said.
"No need, son. It'll trouble you guys"
"It just so happens we-we want to go to Rahayu hamlet, so let my grandmother anterin"
"Yes Saudah, if it doesn't bother you" Denis immediately picked up a bundle of twigs belonging to Grandma and continued the journey.
"What do you need to do to Rahayu hamlet?"
"God, we want to do KKN Nek, in the hamlet of Rahayu" heard what Silvi said. The old grandmother stopped her footsteps.
"Why, Grandma?" Ask Silvi. The old grandmother turned to him with a smile.
"It's okay, son. Let's continue the journey again" said the old grandmother in a flat tone that made Silvi and Denis feel astonished.
Arriving at the intersection of the road that leads to the village of Rahayu. The old grandmother took the right path to the forbidden forest that Mr. Sugeng told her about.
"Where are you going?"
"Aren't you going to send Grandma home?"
"But, Grandma. Rahayu Hamlet is straight not in that direction!" Silvi.
"Granny's house is not in Rahayu Hamlet, son!"
"Wantas Grandma's house, where?"
"Granny's house is just down the street, kid!" Obviously the old grandmother.
"But, Grandma. Mr. Sugeng said, there is a forbidden forest ", Denis said.
"You don't believe it, there's no such thing as a forbidden forest here"
"But, Grandma!"

"Still far away, Grandma?"

Minutes by minutes passed. They were almost at the old Grandma's residence. When Silvi and Denis wanted to enter the old Grandmother's village, Silvi was very surprised. Because, he saw the obsolete writing on an old archway. The inscription reads welcome to the hamlet of Lengger.
"This is Lengger hamlet, Grandma?"
"Yes, Son. Grandma lives here" explained the old Grandma. They kept getting deeper into the hamlet of Lengger. They continued to pass through the houses one by one. But, strangely the house they passed was damaged, abandoned and even many were covered in wild leaves.
"Sepi's right, Grandma. Where are the other people, Grandma" asked Silvi.
"The other people are gone, son"
"Grandma, not scared?"
"Why be afraid, son."
