The participants then gathered in the field. The first race they had to set up a tent. The fastest participants set up a tent that will come out as the winner. And the winners are Krystal and Dion. It only took them five minutes to set up the tent.
"Grandfather is really outrageous, he has trapped us. Or maybe you and Grandpa are ganging up on me?"
"Oath. I don't know either." Krystal formed peace with her finger.
"I'm also new and just found out if the race only consists of two people."
"I feel like grandpa looks weird."
"Weird how?"
"I think there's something our grandfather's been hiding from us. Looks like grandpa wants to unite us both."
"Akh, that's right. You must have misunderstood. Grandfather couldn't possibly do such a silly and childish thing. Never mind, don't think that's not." Reply Krystal with a racing heart.
The chat Krystal and Dion stopped when an announcement was heard from the committee if the 2nd race was about to start. This time the cooking competition.
"Cooking?" Dion was flabbergasted to see a table that had been filled with tools and cooking ingredients.
"Why, Dion? You don't know how to cook? Just chill. About cooking, it's my hobby even though I'm not an expert." Krystal laughing.
"You have to prove that you can cook. What can I help you with?"
Krystal began to choose the material and put the tool to be used.
"You can make sauces, right?"
"If it's easy." Dion replied with a chuckle.
"Let's get started." Krystal put the flour on Dion's face and laughed. Dion who did not expect to get an attack from Krystal could only be stunned. While the other participants laughed at their behavior.
"You're so pretty Dion, hahahahaha.."
"Really huh?" Then Dion raised his flour-filled hand, ready to be glued to the face of Krystal who reflexively covered her face with both hands. His attitude actually held Dion's hand which was finally void. The young man finally lowered his hand for the sake of seeing Krystal's smooth white face.
"Hey, open your eyes. Soon time will be up."
Krystal opened her eyes and accidentally saw them. The girl turned her face away, hiding the red hue on her cheeks when they had almost touched their face because it was so close. While Dion was unaware of the change, the young man continued his cooking activities.
Phase two race is completed. This time, Krystal and Dion were the winners. They cheered with excitement. The third stage race or the last stage is to find a trail.
"In every trace, you will get a clue, and in each clue there will be a letter that you must collect. The letters will be arranged into FINISH sentences. You will return to this place after all the letters have been collected. Even if you don't win in stages 1 and 2, but if stage 3 you win, then you are the winner of the race as a whole...."
"Well, our victory is futile if this 3rd stage we do not win. It means we have to work hard." Dion commented listlessly.
"Yes, Dion. We have no choice but to work hard. It is only fitting that participate in the race this time is a young child because the race is draining."
"The spirit should carry the name of Anger Village."
"I'm happy this last race, Dion. While I was at school with the Scouts, we often played the trail sign. But since moving to this village, I have never again participated in similar activities. That's why I'm happy to be in this stage three race. I want to feel back what I used to do."
"Just calm. During this race, I will take care of you until we win this race. Excursion!!!!"
Phase three race begins. Krystal had managed to gather some letters. Just one more letter and they'll be champions.
"The last letter. Come on, Krystal we got to be excited."
"But Dion, can we rest for a second?" Krystal hurriedly sat under the tree.
"You're okay, aren't you, Krystal?" Asked Dion who looked worried.
"I'm fine, Dion. Istrahat will briefly get me back excited."
"alright. We're doing it first, I'm tired too."
"You know Krystal, I'm actually a bad guy."
Dion.
"I thought you'd say I'm a good man. I'm evil, Tal. Can I call you that? I always play with girls. I pretended to like them and dated them. I don't have a real liking for them. I did all of that because I had not felt the so-called love. In town, I have many girlfriends. Do you think I'm being too outrageous?
"If I think you're too much. But I don't know you yet and know about you. If you have many girlfriends, maybe because you haven't found and are still looking for your true love."
"True love? Do you have true love?"
"I don't know. To feel true love is hard, Dion. Many people say that love is friendship. Love is a feeling of liking to someone. Like does not mean you like because of his physical appearance, because it is not love but lust. I think real love is when you feel comfortable, safe and happy when you are with him. That's true love. Do you agree with me, Dion?"
"You may be right and I agree with what you're saying, but all I've felt was their physical attraction."
"I think it's enough, Dion. We can start looking for the letter H."
They then continued searching for the last letter.
"Dion, it's the letter H on the tree." Point Krystal at the tree. Dion looked up following Krystal's index finger.
"How do we take it? I can't climb trees."
"really? Basic sucks. Let me climb, you wait here." Krystal said as she prepared to take off her shoes.
"You don't climb, Krystal. You will fall. Let's find another one."
"Relatedly, Dion. We could run out of time. I can climb the tree."
Krystal continued to force up the tree without seeing the condition of the tree that was just near the edge of the cliff. The girl continued to squeeze little by little until it approached the letter H attached to the top of the tree trunk.
When it will move down suddenly Krystal's leg slipped due to lack of balance. He fell down towards the ravine. Without a second thought, Dion moved quickly, threw the letters he was holding and immediately grabbed Krystal's hand until the girl was restrained on the edge of the abyss.
"Dion!!!! Help me, don't let go of my hand." Krystal screamed in fear and cried.
"I've banned you but you're still forcing." Dion pulled Krystal's body with all his might until Krystal survived. The girl hugged Dion.
"Don't hold me too tight. I can't breathe. Next time do not repeat your actions. You could die! Are you crazy? You're making me worry!" Shouted Dion annoyed.
"Don't scold me. I'm so scared. I want to go home." Krystal crying.
"alright. Let's go home."
Throughout the journey, the two remained silent. They did not say goodbye to the committee but went straight to the car and drove to the village of Anger. Likewise when he arrived in front of Krystal's house, the girl went down without saying anything to Dion. And so did Dion. The young man even directly ran the car without waiting for Krystal to enter the house.
"Dion, how? Who won?" Faiz's grandfather greets Dion on the terrace. Dion did not answer.
"Well, where's Krystal?"
"We didn't finish the race, Cake. We're home."
"What's wrong? Did you guys fight?"
"I'm mad at him. But it was his fault too. He didn't listen to me."
"You're snapping? The kid doesn't like to be yelled at."
"But I did it because I was worried, Mother. I don't want to happen to anything that gets him hurt. What good would I do if I couldn't protect her. "
"Hmmm, are you starting to like it? You fell in love with her?"
Dion laughing.
"I can't possibly like it, Cake. She's a chatty and rude girl. He's stubborn, he does everything as he wants, he doesn't even want to listen to what other people say, he thinks only he can do that I can too, I am better at doing things as I wish without thinking about others, ah stupid time with him. I'm lazy to talk about it, I want to rest in the room."
"Based on young people, still do not confess, if the confession is like that? Doesn't that mean they have the same nature?" Faiz's grandfather muttered with a smile as he saw Dion stepping into his room.
