Chapter 40

The boy was never happy.

Somsi who noticed the child was also happy.

What's more added with Bram who accepts they live in his rented house.

Somsi is back to focusing on his trading. Only two more plates of his gum noodles will run out. While the bakwan and the parchment left 10 more seeds. five for the rest of the bakwan and five for the rest of the parchment.

Somsi splits gomak noodles equally. Then he gave the gumak noodles that he had divided into two dishes. He handed the gomak noodles to Bram and Dryver.

Somsi handed over the gomak noodles first to Dryver.

"Thank you brother" said the boy gladly.

Then Somsi handed over the gomak noodles again to Bram. "It's Bram."

Bram is holding Somsi's hand. Somsi is shocked when Bram touches his hand.

"Bram.." his whine spoiled.

Why the spoiled whimper could come out of his mouth. Somsi closed his mouth immediately aware that he was saying a word that could make Bram fly.

"Are you being spoiled to me?" ask Bram intentionally. He deliberately said it so that he could see the face of Somsi who met red with shame.

"Bram .. stopped teasing me," Somsi said, taking her hand off Bram's. But Bram won't even take that hand off.

"Do you like it?" bram asked, drawing his face closer to Somsi. Somsi nervously turned his face away.

"B-bram .. stop," he said, turning his face away.

"Is this hand still hurting?" bram asked while peeking at Somsi's injured finger. He ignored Somsi's words when Somsi told him to stop flirting.

Bram smiled smirk. "Wait a minute."

Bram went to the shop for a while. There he bought andiplas. Not long after he arrived too. He sat down next to Somsi.

He wrapped the andiplas very gently. Once he noticed Somsi's face turning away as he looked at her. Bram likes to make Somsi nervous.

Yes lately Somsi looks nervous with Bram. But Bram himself does not know for sure how Somsi feels about him. He just thought that Somsi was just ashamed of him.

After dressing Somsi's wound. He came back to kiss that hand. Makes Somsi want to fall unconscious.

Bram, please stop teasing me. I'm afraid to get used to your temptation.

Because of the shame that was on him, what else his heart was racing, making him have to forcefully pull his hand from Bram. Then he moved away from Bram. Close to his trading.

Is he angry? does he not like what I have done? Owh Bram stopped teasing her. He won't like you.

Bram feels that Somsi is staying away from him because he doesn't like it.

Bram starts thinking about not flirting with Somsi anymore. For him whatever makes Somsi feel comfortable with him will do.

Bram started scooping the gomak noodles into his mouth. It tastes good and good in the mouth. Dryver has finished eating. He handed his dirty dishes to Somsi.

"Sir .. does sister just work like this? instead of graduating high school, why should I trade?" ask Dryver.

That child likes to be confused when he is talking.

Somsi stared at Dryver's sharp bead of eyes. He didn't think Dryver would ask that. "Silver not just like it," said Somsi with a faint smile.

"Sister.suggestion I better work in the office or PT lah. Instead of having to sell like this," Dryver said again feeling like an adult.

Somsi smiled and stroked Dryver's head.

"You deck yeah. Your body is small but your thinking is like an adult." Then Somsi sighed harshly. "Uhhhhhh. patience."

Bram smiled looking at Somsi who was running out of words replied Dryver. It's funny and interesting to see Somsi like that.

Why is Bram smiling. Is there anything funny. But it's okay. I'm glad to see it. Her face is adem, ha ha ha ha ha ha.

Somsi laughed at Bram in his heart. He was so happy to see Bram smile.

Why is he smiling? is there anything funny. I don't think so.

Same thing on Bram's mind. Bram was also astonished by Somsi who was smiling from earlier.

"Bram" called Somsi surprised a dreamy Bram.

"I-yes what's going on Som?" bram asked confused.

He did not know what words would come out of Somsi's mouth.

Is Somsi going to say that he already likes me huh?

Bram widens his ears. Trying to move his ears.

Why can't my ears move.

Bram had a hard time when his ears couldn't move. It can't be an ear.

Bram's phone call.

Bram picked up the phone. "Hello," ~ Bram.

"Hello Bram, this is me Siti," ~ Siti.

Somsi gawked when he heard that it was Siti, his best friend. Somsi misses Siti. How many days have they not met.

Bram answered again. "Well, what's wrong?" ~ Bram.

Suddenly the signal is cut off. It was not clear when Siti said something behind the phone.

"Hello, hello, hello. Hello Sit, your voice is not clear. Try again." ~ Bram.

How many times Siti tried to talk, but still her voice was not heard clearly. Feeling upset, Bram hung up the phone.

"Why did you close Bram?" ask Somsi astonished.

Bram looked at Somsi and then showed Somsi his phone. "Neither network is Som."

Somsi. He thought Bram had played down his phone so he couldn't hear.

Somsi was getting jealous. Yes, even though he knows it's his own best friend, but the jealousy in his heart can not be denied.

Suddenly, Bram rang again. The same name Somsi saw when Bram had not picked up Siti's phone.

Bram again pressed the same button and finally connected. The signal in Bram's phone is already there.

"Hello Sit," ~ Bram.

The person behind the phone is Siti answering. "Yes hello Bram." ~ Siti.

Bram scrunched his forehead.

"Well, what's the matter Sit?" ~ Bram.

"Did you see Somsi? please find him and give him your phone first. I want to talk to him." ~ Siti.

Bram gawking wonder. "Why?" ~ Bram.

Angry Siti yells from the phone. "Help me first!" ~ Siti.

Bram smiled hearing Siti yelling behind the phone. "Hmm good." ~ Bram.

Bram hands his cellphone to Somsi. Somsi who is confused why Siti wants to talk to him receives Bram's phone.

Somsi spoke nervously. "Ha-hello Sit..." ~ Somsi.

"Yes hello Som," ~ Siti.

"Som .. I miss you so much," ~ Siti.

Somsi smiles. He thought something was happening, it was just a matter of missing.

"I'm also Sit, I'm also very much missing you," ~ Somsi.

Siti laughed from behind the phone. "Ha ha ha ha." ~ Siti.

Somsi. "Is there anything funny Sit?" ~ Somsi.

Siti shakes behind the phone. "There is no Som. Relax," ~ Siti.

"Eh Som. I want to talk to you about something important." ~ Siti.

"Well, what is a sit?" ~ Siti.

Siti explained why she called him not just a feeling of longing. But he wanted to tell Somsi something. Must be by then he'll tell Somsi everything.

"Look Som... Ka boru saragih's brother called me yesterday. And then the brother said that you were accepted by Som to work in Malaysia. And as soon as you give your money in to that sister," ~ Siti.

Pleasure mixed with sadness felt by Somsi at that time. He was happy to hear that he was accepted for work. And sad because he has no money other than his loan to Siti.

"Yes Sit. Thanks for the info," ~ Somsi.

"Yes, both Som." ~ Siti.

Siti turned off her phone from behind the phone. Somsi handed the phone to Bram.
