Promise in Love

Episode 12's.

Beautiful left the room full of anger and new Laras will come out of the room when Dirga calls him.

" Tell me honestly to Papa, how many times has Amora been rude to you?" asked Dirga calmly.

" Pap, I don't mean to make Mama angry. I just..."

" Laras, is Amora your upperclassman at school?, tell Papa honestly or you'll see what punishment Amora will receive if you lie."

" Amora told her friends at school that I was teasing Papa until Papa forgot Mama Zenia and herself." Laras replied slowly but managed to make Dirga's face red with wrath.

" Papa.., Baras beg Papa not to punish Amora. Laras believes Amora feels lonely because Papa rarely comes home like Laras and Mama feel too."

" That's not what Amora has to do. He's already acting out of bounds" Dirga replied sharply.

" If anything goes wrong it's Papa not Amora, if only Papa paid attention to us, Amora wouldn't have acted that way. Where's Papa all this time?, Papa should reflect on himself before punishing a child in need of affection," laras said in a hoarse voice as he held back the crying and he immediately ran out of his room.

" Laras?," called Beautiful who saw Laras running towards his room and almost hit Bram who was walking towards the living room.

" What's the matter Auntie?," asked Bram to Indah.

" Aunty doesn't know. You call Om for breakfast Bram, Auntie will see Laras" said Indah and she immediately headed to the room Laras.

" Laras?, what is it?" asked Beautiful as soon as she saw Laras put the book in the bag with a rough.

" Mama ask 'he' what's going on!," replied Laras angrily.

" Mam, please I don't want to discuss and talk about it." replied Laras and he walked down with his school bag.

" Laras, Mama is still waiting for your explanation" said Indah.

" Later on Mam if you are upset Laras is gone," replied Laras slowly.

They enjoyed breakfast in silence and as usual Laras preferred cereal over fried rice or nasi uduk which was on the dining table.

At exactly 6:30 Baras is ready to go to school.

" Who did Laras go to school with?" asked Dirga trying to make up for her daughter.

" Himself" he replied slowly.

" What if Papa takes you?" asked Dirga again.

" School Laras near Mas, I will take him for a while," replied Indah pulled out her motorbike.

" You drove Laras to school on a motorcycle?" asked Dirga.

" Let me take Indah Aunt, I am also ready to go to college. I borrowed the bike from Auntie" said Bram, trying to solve the problem of dropping off Laras.

" Now the school uniform is like that huh?," asked Bram to Laras who was sitting behind him.

" Not everyone wears this uniform. I happen to like it" replied Laras.

" It's good, too, not to make your eyes turn when riding the bike the way you sit like that" said Bram and he received a punch on his shoulder in response to his words.

" Your school was close, it was fitting that Auntie Lovely wanted to take you on a motorbike" said Bram as he lowered Laras in front of his school gate.

" He uh, thank you for driving me," Laras said before entering his school ward.

After Laras was not seen again, Bram immediately pulled his motor gas and he drove quickly to the campus.

Meanwhile, at home Indah was sitting opposite Dirga asking because Laras was crying.

" I said harshly that I would punish Amora for what she did to Laras, but she forbade me and said it was my fault for not paying attention to her or Amora. So what happened to Laras and Amora was my fault" replied Dirga slowly.

" I understand, because what Amora must accept is not punishment but guidance from Zinia and from you Mas. Laras is lucky to have Abi, but what about Amora?, while I know Zenia has a social association that takes her time to be with Amora" said Indah trying to be wise.

" Yes I have wronged you all for pursuing lust and ambition too. What time do you leave for work?" said Dirga.
