Chapter 102

The barrel fluttered in front of Bram. He was too shocked to hear Bram swearing.

"Yank, how dumb? You're okay, aren't you?"

"Huh?"

"Why do you see me like that. What's up?" Bram furrowed his brows.

"I'm just surprised."

"About?"

"I've never heard you swear. Is something bothering you?" Laras kept staring at Bram waiting for an explanation.

There is a restlessness that Bram tries to cover up, but Laras is determined not to let go of it.

The answer Bram gave was so resolute that Laras could only look at him.

"Now, do you want to go back to see the guests with me or stay here with all the presuppositions about the woman you met?"

"Why is tonight so different, Yank? I love your drastically changed appearance but I don't like it when your attitude and nature changes too! Show it and stay like the Laras I've known for years. You want to do it for me?"

"I'm sorry. I don't know why I'm so influenced by the words of women I don't know. But do you really not know him?"

"Papa and Mama are sure that not only Bram will explain the events today but his family will surely come."

Hoping that everything would be fine, Laras then returned to his room leaving the room of his parents which Laras himself thought was not appropriate. How can a very large room actually have a narrow bed?
