Chapters 5.

“Bos F-Rank huh?”

The corner of my lips is slightly curved. I am Level 1, and the enemy in front of me is Level 5. The mistaken attack rate when the level difference was below five was not very high, so killing it was not beyond my reach.

After deciding, I immediately get ready!

Rustle. . .

My legs inched across the grass slightly, but the boss immediately reacted and attacked me as fast as lightning. Fortunately, I myself was not too slow, and I was able to bend my body out and cut upwards at the same time. That shabby sword cut through the Big-eared Rabbit's boss' stomach!

21!

Wow, this rabbit defense is quite high!

I quickly concluded that the Big-eared Rabbit had around 2,500 total HP. This meant that I had to attack him at least 100 times before I could defeat him!

The boss screeched, turned around and swung his tail towards me. The tail is short, but it violently hits my back like a steel whip!

61!

The pain scorched my senses for a moment. The power of this attack is a bit too much, right?

I only have a total of 110 HP right now, which means that I will die if I receive another blow. There's no way I can beat him now. I also feel regretful because the Heavenblessed rule turned out to be very different from the Spirit of Grief.

It's not worth it, I should have known better! Since I can't beat him, I have to run while I can. If I get killed here, all the time and effort I spent hunting the big-eared Rabbit since Level 0 would be in vain.

I looked around me and confirmed the terrain with lightning speed. I chose to run towards the road on my right because it has the smallest eared rabbit. One boss is quite difficult, one or two other Big-eared Rabbits will definitely seal my doom.

I ran like the wind while adjusting my steps constantly. Trees, shrubs, shrubs, all of them are usable barriers. The boss had to jump while I passed through the obstacles with a minimal amount of movement. That was almost enough to cover the gap between our movement speed.

I didn't stop scanning my surroundings while I was running. Suddenly, I found something that made my eyes beaming!

There was a thorny forest not far in front of me. The plant was made up of so-called “Snake Venom Brambles”. This particular factory was mentioned in the publicly released information about Heavenblessed. The Snake Venom Bramble is a deadly plant that inflicts a large amount of poison damage on any creature it comes in contact with. A player focused on production could collect them as ingredients and create poison for an Assassin player. It was an item that every assassin possessed!

Of course, no one has the ability to collect them because the level of the players is too low, but that was not my plan. My plan was to use this poisonous tree to save my life!

Swooshes!

I easily jumped over the thorns and landed in the open field. It was only a meter tall, and it was nothing I could not cope with. I carefully avoided touching the thorny bushes around me and patiently waited for the boss to come.

“Screaming!”

It was clear that the Big Eared Rabbit Boss was on the verge of going berserk, and was too tired to clear a one meter tall thorny bush like I did. Unfortunately for that, it was only about as big as a sink, and while it was in the air I hit it right on the head with my shabby sword!

“Let yourself down!”

I hit the Big Eared Rabbit Boss like a ball. As I had predicted, it fell onto the thorn bush and screamed in pain as the poisonous thorn bit its flesh. His HP began to drop rapidly.

Utilizing the superiority of my range to the max, I repeatedly stabbed the Big-eared Rabbit Boss in the butt again and again. It could not do anything to escape because it was small, and it was completely trapped inside the thorny bush. The more he jumped in pain and panicked, the more holes appeared all over his body!

It took less than two minutes for the Great-eared Rabbit's HP to reach the bottom. This was the first boss I ever killed in Heaven, and I felt like my blood was boiling with excitement. I scream in my mind, “Drop me something! Please drop a weapon that can be used for me, rabbit lord! ”

“Wah!”

The Big-eared Rabbit Boss finally screamed and died. Two items remained in place.

Swooshes!

The boss contributed a lot of experience and increased my level by 2. I threw another 5 free points into Strength and increased my attack power to 7 ~ 12. Now this is what I call damage!

However, the excitement of leveling could not come close to the excitement of getting the equipment drop at all. My eyes were wide open like chest armor with a greenish glow and a huge stone that looked like a diamond that fell on the ground.

I carefully lifted the breastplate with my sword and pulled it closer. When it finally got into my hands, an equipment window appeared in front of me—

Great Rabbit Glowing Battle Armor (Iron Class)

Defense: 9

Stamina: +2

Level Requirements: 2

  ……

I was surprised to find that the drop was an iron-level equipment that provided a stat bonus! In Heavenblessed, the value of the equipment was divided into Common, Iron, Bronze, Steel, Dark Steel, Silver, Gold, Dark Gold, Purple Gold, Spirit, Immortal and heavenly. This iron-level equipment had almost reached the lowest point in the hierarchy, but during the early stages it might as well be a heavenly protector!

I immediately put on the chest armor and checked my status—

ID: Broken Halberd Sinks in the Sand

Grade: Dead Swordsman (Beginner)

Level 3

Attack: 7 ~ 12

Defenses: 10

I have 10 Defenses now, which means that killing a Tier 3 Big-eared Rabbit is no longer a difficult task, quite the opposite. Moreover, the 2 extra Stamina points I gained from leveling also increased my total HP to 140!

For a moment, my heart was filled with pure happiness. At this stage and with this level of defense, it probably wouldn't be wrong to call me as hard as a nail, would it?

Wait, I almost forgot. Chest armor wasn't the only one Big-eared Rabbit Boss dropped!

I lay on the ground and pulled the stone towards me with my hands. Yup, as I thought, it is the legendary magic stone — Big Magic Stone (Quality 77).

In Heavenblessed, monsters dropped magic stones instead of gold coins. All monsters with magic in them have a chance of dropping magic stones, and they can be traded to traders for cash. There are 5 types of magic stones, namely Small Magic Stones, Large Magic Stones, Phantasmal Magic Stones, Purple Crystals, and Crystal Crystals. The higher the quality, the greater the price taken.

The Great Magic Stone I obtained was an item with a Quality of 77, so it should be worth a lot of copper!

I jumped out of the Snake Venom Brambles and continued on my way. My appearance has improved tremendously thanks to the shiny level iron chest protector around my body. At the very least, my ribs are no longer open for everyone to see. Once I got a pair of shoes, shoes, and a helmet that covered my face, I finally had to look good enough to meet someone.

I didn't get far before the Level 3 3-eared Rabbit pounced at me. This time, I did not avoid. Come me!

2!

I almost snorted when I saw the number jump out of my head. The ten points of the Defense are so impressive, this Big-eared Rabbit is barely able to break through my defense despite being on the same level as me.

I killed the stupid rabbit in two blows before running back to the initial village. I then searched the Corpse Heap Graveyard Guard and handed over my search items: Five Thick Foot Hair Big Rabbits!

“Excellent young frame. You earned the respect I just found! “

The undead barbarians chuckled while slapping my shoulders. “Come and grab your legitimate gifts. Everything is for the return of the Night Creature, and of course, its wealth and *******! “

The undead replies are a literal eye opener. Impressive and fun NPC! By the way, is it just me, or does it sound like I am now a member of the Night Beings?

Ding ~!

System Notification: You have completed the quest [Kill the Big Eared Rabbit]. You have obtained 150 EXP, 1 Reputation and 10 copper!

I swallowed spit. Is this what I get for all my hard work? Well, at least I have 150 experiences. I should have had enough levels up to 5 after I killed a pair of larger-eared rabbits.

The Corpse Heap Graveyard Guard continued, “It looks like you killed the leader of the Big-eared Rabbit. Good, the Big-eared Rabbit is no longer a threat. Now I have a more important search for you. Do you want to hear it? “

That's exactly what I expected, so I nodded repeatedly and said, “Say, say. ”

“Good!” The guard gripped his battle axe and began. “Outside of our city is the vast and seemingly endless Forest of Sunlight. Recently, our skeletal brother sent word that a group of Green Praying Grasshoppers had appeared inside the forest. Their physiques were enormous, and they were armed with sharp blades. You should head to the Sunshine Forest, kill 100 Green Praying Mantises and bring back 10 Green Praying Mantis Armblades! Do that, and I will repay you generously! “

Ding ~!

System Notification: You have received the quest [Green Praying Mantis]! (Search Rank: F)

Description: Go to the Sunshine Forest, kill 100 Green Praying Mantis and collect 10 Green Mantis Praying Fleet for the Cemetery Guard.

Mn, very good, an F Rank search should have given me a lot of experience.

Instead of rushing out, I chose to walk deeper into the grave. It was at that moment that a skeleton trader with a crooked back appeared before me. I walked up to him and produced the Great Magic Stone dropped by the Big-eared Rabbit Boss, saying, “Hey friend, can you tell me how much it is worth?”

The skeleton made me look complicated before complaining, “Do I look like a man to you?”

I was immediately attacked by the sea of goosebumps. How am I supposed to know he's really a bone? It's not that he has a partner I can check and confirm. “Ahem, excuse me, beautiful. Can you tell me how much it is worth? ”

The bony Belle finally received the Great Magic Stone and looked at it. “Value 1540 copper!”

I'm stunned. My first search only gave me 10 coppers, but this stone gave me an amount far beyond my imagination. I'm so happy!

Next second, 1540 copper — or 15 silver and 40 copper — go into my pocket. I think I am now quite capable!

I checked if the bony belle had anything to sell and found that she had a potion. Unfortunately, it is very expensive. One Basic Health Potion that recovered 80 HP cost 50 copper? It's robbery!

However, I agreed and bought 20 of them. Without health potions, I cannot fight high-level monsters or get more magic stones to sell. One has to think long-term when planning, right?

  ……

Now that I'm ready to be full, it's time for more adventures!

I arrived at the edge of the Corpse Heap Graveyard killing a pair of Big-eared Rabbits on the road. Again, I threw 5 points into Strength and increased my overall attack power to 10 ~ 17. For now, it seems like the Undead Swordsman has a pretty impressive Strength scaling as 5 points have increased my attack power by a range of 3 ~ 5. I have checked the introduction for all the classes in the forum before, so I know that the class with the best Strength scaling is Warrior, with 5 points Strength increasing their attack power by 2 ~ 5. Magic Knight’s is 2 ~ 4, and Wanderer’s is 3 ~ 4. In a sense, the Undead Swordsman was among the better offensive classes.

Next, I opened the ranking list. There are three early villages in my area, with two under the Light faction and one — that is mine — under the Dark faction. Currently, the highest leveled player in the three early villages was Level 7, meaning that I was far behind those people. As I thought, there will never be a shortage of crazy levelers in any game. I have to work harder.

Under the moonlight, a creepy little skeleton holding a shabby sword lightly stomped down the hill while humming, the younger “Biksu went to ask for food, but the older monk said to leave the wildflowers alone, so he asked: Why not? Why waste ~? ”
