Prison Wound

Prison Wound
Four part

Raditya shook his head so strongly. "My wife is fine.that's what she always says," he said in a trembling voice.

Finally, the woman canceled her intention to convey Riena's condition based on the medical discipline she studied. What he did next was to remove the cloth bandana that adorned his hair. Then he used the cloth to tie the upper arm of Riena firmly. He did this to make the blood stop coming out.

Arriving at the parking area, the couple again offered to take Raditya to the nearest hospital. In a state of worry and panic, obviously driving alone is not the best solution.

Raditya nodded. Most importantly right now, Riena can get help as soon as possible. No matter how. Raditya has high hopes for the salvation of Riena's soul. Although honestly his wife's body had already transmitted the cold, he was certain-Riena would not abandon herself in this cruel way.

It only takes no more than fifteen minutes. They were at the door of the ER in a large hospital in Denpasar City. Not wanting to wait long for the gurney, Raditya again carried Riena and immediately took her to the ER room guided by a nurse. Raditya even forgot to thank the couple who drove him.

"Sir please wait outside." One of the nurses who had just come directly asked Raditya to leave the room. Coinciding with that, two doctors entered the room.

Raditya did not resist or impose his will to survive there. The man stepped foot into the waiting room of the ER. There was nothing he could do but surrender. Indeed Raditya did not understand what made Riena desperate to end her life by trying to cut her own pulse using a razor blade.

"Oh Allah, do not take my Rien. Whatever sin he committed, make it my responsibility. Give me a hint as to what makes him step over your will. I beg you to give us a chance, to correct all the wrongs together." Raditya did not stop praying in his heart. Not only to kill saturated because of waiting, but also for the peace of heart and also the safety of the soul of Riena who is certainly struggling between life and death.

Seconds by second passed by for so long. However, it does not feel tired, sweaty and hungry even a little in Raditya. Riena, Riena and Riena. Only that name filled his mind.

"Family patient Riena," called one of the male nurses who had just emerged from the room where Riena was.

Raditya hurriedly approached towards the source of the voice calling out to him. "How's my wife doing?" he asked, directly because he was impatient again.

"We will transfer Ms. Riena to the ICU room for further examination and treatment. His condition was not fully conscious and very weak. For more details, the doctor will explain to you. Come with me." The nurse pointed to a room at the end of the ER building.

Raditya did not utter a word in response to the nurse's explanation. His mind really cannot be invited to digest to the maximum. Hearing the word ICU, adds its own concerns to the man. Where the room is clearly devoted to patients in a critical state and needs very intensive care.

"Please sit down, sir," welcome the doctor who treated Riena.

Raditya forced his smile while nodding. "Thank you, Doc."

Raditya shook his head strongly. His forehead also crunched. Of course he was also surprised to hear the doctor's explanation. Between believe and not. For he did not see any of the wounds mentioned just now. Other than the red traces on Riena's cheeks, there was nothing else Raditya saw.

"You sure?" This time the doctor gave more emphasis. Although his profession is not a law enforcement officer, he is personally very concerned about cases of violence. Whenever treating a patient with a suspicious condition, the first thing he will do is to question the patient's family in great detail.

"I'm not entirely sure. I certainly did not commit violence against my wife. I will never and will not be able to do it. I love him very much. Today, our marriage is five years old. We came here to celebrate. My wife ...." Raditya explains about their arrival which is not the same. Then explained in detail the change in Riena's attitude when she came. All explained exactly what was experienced. Not exaggerated or reduced.

The doctor looked carefully at Raditya's explanation. The look in his eyes fixedly looked into the eyes of the man who looked very honest and sincere in front of him. Tear drops, trembling sounds and heavy breathing that is not made up, indicating the interlocutor is not manipulating the situation.

"What should I do to make sure what really happened to my wife, Doc? If indeed my wife experienced violence, of course I have to find the culprit. I will not let anyone who dares touch my wife get away with it. I won't!" Raditya's eyes instantly turned into a glare of anger. His hands clenched perfectly until his handbooks turned blue.

"After first aid to your wife, the general practitioner contacted me for finding some unnatural injuries. So, it is not without reason that I want to meet you. I'm one of the forensic doctors at this hospital. With regard to that, of course, what we can do next is to do a visa et repertum. Where our team of forensic doctors will conduct an examination of the overall wound to ascertain what kind of violence your wife received."

Raditya scooped his face violently, his tears falling back down. Just imagine that his heart hurts. What if it's true?

"Hows it? Do you want us to do the act of visum et repertum? Under normal conditions, this should be done at the request of police investigators. Of course, the request is there after the victim makes a report. But seeing the patient's condition is very weak and seems to also be very unstable, coupled with your information that you have just come from outside the city. Obviously the police report doesn't exist yet, does it?"

Raditya shook his head. He was getting more and more unable to think. What came to his mind now was only a hope that his wife's condition could recover as usual.

"For now, the patient is still under the influence of sedatives" the doctor added.

"Stranquilizing drug? Why was he given a sedative, Doc?" Raditya's worries are growing.

"As you have experienced and told us before. We also get the same reaction when the patient had a moment to wake up. The patient immediately screamed hysterically and asked everyone not to touch him. Of the few patients I've dealt with, with symptoms and behaviors more or less the same as those experienced by your wife, our suspicions lead to one act of violence."

"What is that, Doc?"
